  1. Patty

The cadbury after b1g1 free would be .99 cents not 1.98? right?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

In the scenario, I have stated to purchase 4 Cadbury eggs at $0.99 each so the total would be $1.98 after the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale. Hope this helps!

  2. Craig

Thanks Collin! Hoping you and your family are having a great day!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are welcome, Craig!

  3. Ashley

    Oh yeah! a make-up week 🙂 Thanks Collin 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are welcome, Ashley! 😀

  4. soldiersgirl531

The Carefree coupon says it has ended…

    • soldiersgirl531

      After I click on it.

      • Kimberly Attridge

It also says Redeemable at Walmart.

        • Mara @ Super Savings

          @Kimberly,
If a coupon says “redeemable at Walmart”, it simply means that Walmart sponsored/paid for the coupon as an advertisement. It does not mean that you *must* use it there…..they’re just hoping! 😉 HTH!

          ~ Mara

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for letting me know.

  5. Jenifer

There is a hot wheel coupon on coupons.com haven’t printed it yet but it is $3 off 10 the link says available at walmart but not sure if it is only at walmart?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I believe that the coupon states that it can only be used at Walmart. Darn!

      • A

I think it says “available at walmart”, NOT “redeemable only at walmart.” Aren’t manufacture coupons good anywhere?

        • Jasmine

I hope it works. Great little gifts for my 3 nephews and even my husband! I’ll try it tomorrow.

        • Katie

the small print says “valid in-store only at participating WalMart stores”…bummer!

      • A

If you buy more than 8 hotwheels does that mean you get 4-.50 +up back all at once, or will you only get 1-.50 if you buy enough to use the 3 off 10 coupon?

      • A

        & does “Get a $0.50 +Up Reward when you buy 2 (limit 4 offers)” mean 2 hotwheels at 1.50 for 2, or 4 hotwheels for 1.50×2?

        • Lolo

It means you can buy up to 8 hotwheels and you will receive 4x $.50 Ups (or $2 worth) so if you bought all 8 you would pay $6 oop and then receive $2 in Ups back for a total of $.50 per car. HTH

    • Kat

I went to my store tonight to locate the Hot Wheels, and apparently my store keeps a VERY low stock of these, as they had TWO on the shelf. I asked an associate if they have more somewhere and nope, that’s it. So maybe YMMV if your store even carries $10 worth at a time?

      • A

i think each store is different, there’s a whole bin of hot wheels at mine.

  6. jaqueline

I tested the B1G1 MM band aid deal today and it is not working. I purchased the sheer 80 ct. And instead of 2 3 ups only 2 1 up printed

    • soldiersgirl531

Hmmm thats good to know as I was definitely going to try that deal.I got a whole bunch free awhile back& was noticing the pile looks a bit thin w/ 4 kids for summer lol

    • Tiffany

I wonder if this is just specific kinds or if it was an error that had been fixed by corp already since cali’s ad week has already been going on for a few days. I haven’t seen anything about it on any message boards.

      • Elizabeth

At my store it was tagged with $3 +up reward, but at checkout it only printed 2 $1 +ups. The manager gave me a gift card with $4 on it since the 2 $3 +ups didn’t print (the difference) & then removed the tag on the shelf. I say skip this deal if you’re looking for a MM

        • Mary

Same here, my store had the $3 up reward tags on certain products. So I grabbed those. When my ups didn’t print the manager gave me a gift card for $12.00 But I also got 2 $1 UPS WHICH printed. The mananger said that those tags should have been removed. So IMO If you see the $3 ups sign grab em they should honor it.

  7. Itzia

Thanks for all the hard work!!!

  8. Amanda

The L’oreal deal wont work, it excludes cleansers!

    • Russ

      Good catch!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for catching that! I just updated the post (sorry for the delay….I was out to dinner and a movie with my hubby. :D)

      • Brandy Hill

No need to apologize! You deserve a break, we appreciate all your hard work! Hope you had a wonderful date night! 🙂

  9. karen

anyone else tested the Band Aid deal out there?
I’d love to know if it works for other people!

    • Elizabeth

      I tried it & it didn’t work. Out printed 2 $1 +ups

  10. Kat

Does the register accept the $5 Youth Code VV on the 4.39 cleanser? I just hate using beepers at RA so I didn’t want to try it unless someone can confirm how this works. Also, my cashiers refuse to adjust coupons down, even after showing them the policy they just don’t care and say that if the face value of the coupon is more than the value of the product, the Q simply cannot be used.

    • Betsy

Kat, the $5VV does beep on the cleanser but my cashier accepted anyway. I think its one of those YMMV scenarios.

    • Alena

Yes, it does.. I had a rain check for 4.39 any L’oreal cleanser and bought a Youth Code cleanser this week and used $5 VV coupon. I even got some overage.

    • Sephiria

I believe you get overage from VV’s, so the register will automatically subtract $5. Just make sure you have something else in your transaction to absorb the overage.

  11. Betsy

Colin, the Youth Code Cleanser is excluded from the buy $15, get $5 Ups so in your scenario, you would only get one $5 +UPs not two. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! Just updated the deal scenario.

  12. Tina

Hi Collin! I just wanted to let you know on the Loreal skin care deal it says excludes youth code cleanser in fine print.

    • Ronni

I noticed the same thing…I don’t think it will work.

  13. Paige

The carefree $1 MFQ is out of prints. =(

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for letting me know.

My Rite aids are so super coupon friendly that I almost cant believe they have all of these rules in other areas, like some readers talk about. I have 7 rite aids within a 5 mile radius from my house and they are excellent. Today I found 3 of the revlon nail polishes marked down to $1.19 and used the $3 in ad coupon… they let all coupons go through in the same transaction AND didnt adjust anything down.. I left with a big smile 🙂
I looooove rite aid! (although I dont really like this week’s deals too much lol)

    • amy

omg, you’re so lucky, my cashier was being all nasty about it. we even had to restart the transaction a couple of times. later on he told me to do give him the coupons after every item scanned. ( bad news b/c the amount would become negative, and he found out). Then in the end, he got frustrated with all the coupons that I have, and he told me he is canceling out my entire order. I had to leave the store empty handed. like what?!

      • amy

he also said the revlon nail polish didn’t match the one that was in the ad. I told him that it didn’t have any restrictions on it. and he was like, “you’re not listening to me!” god. he couldnt even have adjusted down the price of the coupon.

        • A

you should report him to the manager.

          • Suzy

I would not have accepted that behavior from the cashier. I was told the other day by a RA employee that she could not get the coupon to work (just beeped), and I got all Captain Piccard on her and told her to make it work. Long story short, she made it work.

            • Suzy

Wait, maybe that is Tim Gunn.

            • Crescent City Couponer

Captain Jean-Luc Picard “Make it so.”
Tim Gunn “Make it sew,” or “So, make it.”

Thanks so much for all the work that goes into putting these deals together! This is the only site I use for my matchups…I’ve tried so many sites and this one is the best!

    • Megan

      Agreed!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awww….thanks so much! 😀

Is the Tide deal not worth it this coming week at Rite-Aid? Its $5.99 with $1+up

    • Tiffany

Not a good deal unless you have ups to burn. My price point for a Tide is 2.99 after coupons.

    • Ana

If you have any of those facebook coupons that were mailed in a couple of promos (long exp date) for 2$ it would be 2.99$. Not bad but after the All cash card deal at CVS this past week I’ve got enough detergent for a decade (only 2 of us)!

Question on the Smartwater – It is on sale for 88 cents and says limit of 12. Do you think that is 12 per Wellness card or just 12 per transaction? I love this water and have some UPS I need to use before they expire so was thinking of stocking up on this. Thanks!

    • Brenda

      Kelly,
The Smartwater is limited to 12 per transaction. You should be able to purchase more using the same card. Usually it’s just the UpR limits that are per wellness card.

      • kelly

        Thanks Brenda!

  18. Marissa

Hope the band aid deal works out the way Collin has posted! We are on our last “trail size” package! 😀

Does anyone know the price of Maxwell House coffee?

    • Kimberlyk1

My store had it for 14.99

    • Bridgette

my local grocery stores have had these on sale for 7.99 so if they are 14.99 at Riteaid then is it a deal?

    • Ann

Thanks for the info. You’re right, it isn’t much of a deal!

  21. Jie

Collin, the L’oreal youth code cleanser is EXCLUDED from the +UP reward deal! please change your scenerio! i’m pretty sure a lot of people read your blog, so i don’t want anyone to be confused! it’s even listed on the picture of the ad that you’re showing.

I think its been reported in the fine print of the coupon, it says Valid at Participating Walmart stores.

  24. Jenny

Collin just an FYI I was at rite aid this morning attempting to do the band aid deal and select types do have a tag for 3 ups others say 1 or 2 ups. When I went to check out I did not get a 3 up for either box I purchased so I pointed out the signs and the manager said they are not printing so she is pulling all the signs. Since the ones I bought still had the signs she gave me a gift card for $6.00. I would suggest anyone attempting this deal to make sure they choose a product that does indeed have a sign because more than likely it won’t print. Thanks for always giving us great deal scenarios. Sunday is my favorite day of the week thanks to you and your site.

  25. diti

i know its not the right place but just checking if someone has an extra colgate $5 rebate form…i would really appreciate. I bought all stuff and later checked,…that rebate was regional and our area didnt get one. thanks in advance

  26. Alla

I have a question about the Gold membership. I had 744 points till December 2011 and today it got 394 which will make 1138 points total but I did not see any 20% discounts or anything on my receipt. Does that mean that I have to hit another 744 this year to become a gold member and get the 20% entire year. I recived an email I think in December or Jan thisyear from Rite Aid and they said the points remained the same this year also I think I won’t lose them but I did not get any discount of 20%. How does it work? Any help in explaining this would be greatly appreciated. I am really confused right now. Thank you, Collin for the weekly matchups and for the great deals you post about. And thank you all those who would answer my questions.

    • Jeff

Alla, RA points reset each jan 1st. If you get to 1000 in 2012, you get 20% discount for remaining 2012 and all of 2013. You must get another 1000 points in 2013 to continue at 20% in 2014

      • Alla

        Thanks a lot Jeff,
So does that mean if I’ve got only 394 from January till now I still need to accumulate 606 more points? I thought the previous ones of 2011 are counted towards my this years points. 🙁

        • yessah

If you did not hit 1000 by dec 31st 2011 then yes you do need to hit it this year with the new points after January 1st.

        • terri

yes, your points don’t rollover, your discount does. If you didn’t hit the 1000 last year, you start again.

    • Sharon H

Did anyone else notice that they are only counting actual cash spent, not coupons anymore- corporate confirmed. This will make it impossible for most to hit gold status.

      • Alla

Thank you Yessah, Terri and Sharon H for explaining me this stuff. Too bad I did not hit 1000 last year. I was not sure of the program. I thought they rollover 🙁 Sharon H, I did not notice that. I am gonna check it this time I go shopping at RA. Thanks for the heads up on that though.

  27. Tracy

I also would love a colgate rebate form. I checked mine and we did not get it. I had been saving my receipts based on the blogs I read there was a rebate but didn’t realize till this weekend that it wasn’t in mine in TN. 🙁 If you have and are willing to mail to me please email me and I’ll send my address. Thanks! tracytrace@juno.com

  28. RobinV

I just got a great deal on Stridex cleansing pads at Rite Aid. They are on sale for $2.99 and I used a $1 off coupon (from the inside of my box at home) plus I got a $1 RR making them only $.99 a box.

Thanks so much for all your hard work posting each day.

  29. KJ

I’m in Atlanta and only received $1 Up for the bandages but did not receive any reward for the ointment deal. I purchased the ones that were priced at $9.99. Any suggestions?

  30. dalila

I have a question but i’m not sure for the Nature Made Vitamins can you use the $3.00 Off 2 product + the rite aid video value coupon since they dont’ except coupon for the free item. Can someone answer my question please thanks
that would make for a great deal .

    thank you

    • Annette

Dalila, Unfortunately I think it depends on your Rite Aid if you can use the $3/2 when it’s a BOGO item. The Rite Aid Video value is for the CoQ10 only (Feb vv). My RA will let me use the $3/2 but I’ve read that others won’t let them…Good luck

      • dalila

Annette thanks for the respond i appreciate it but when i printed the coupon for the Nature Made vitamins it stated $3.00 Off Nature made vitamin d. try the video again hope this works.

        thanks

  31. A

I heard that the hot wheels coupon works. Has anyone tried it & does it beep?

  32. Karin

Just got back from Rite Aid – purchased 2 packages of 80 sheer rite aid brand bandaids latex free. The tag on the shelf said $3 ups limit 2 as well as the B1G1 sale so I bought both for $3.99 – it only printed 2 $1 ups. After checking the shelf and trying it with another card – they also gave me a gift card for $4 and let me keep the original $2 of ups + the $2 of ups they printed trying to figure it out. I <3 my rite aid 🙂

  33. A

I have a question about the +up rewards. If i do the limit on one card in one transaction, can i do a separate transaction with the same card & get more +ups or would i need to use another rewards card?

  34. Alisa

Has anyone tried the babylips deal? I did it this morning and the deal worked in terms of the in-store +UP rewards and the 50% off however, they weren’t going to take my manufacturer coupon for Maybelline where it specifically states “OR any Maybelline lip product.” Has anyone else run into this problem. I just said that I didn’t understand why you wouldn’t take it for lip balm when lip balm is considered a lip product, is it not? She said it had to specifically say lipbalm. She said she would take it “THIS” time but that she would not in the future. Any advice?

    • Tiffany

You need to alert a manager. If they still want to act silly about it call corp and tell them the particular store must need better training concerning coupons… They will forward a message to the district manager. I had a manager of one of my local rite aids tell me that when someone calls corp and complains, they are charged a couple thousand dollars per complaint… I thought she was joking but she said that it was something new. She told me this is why she won’t argue with customers over a coupon unless someone is doing something obviously wrong and she knows she will get reimbursed for the coupons as long as they sell the items.

I have done this deal several times when these 2.00 coupons come up for lip products. A couple times at Rite aid and a couple times at CVS. Definitely be confident when you explain to the cashier…. Tell them that the picture is not what matters as almost all coupons only present an example of a product for the picture (if any picture at all) it is the wording because it is just a contract and it’s terms. Tell them that this coupon says or any maybelline lip product (NOT LIPSTICK in case the cashier is confused!!) and that Baby Lips is made by maybelline as it states on the package. I stand my ground when I am right concerning my coupons, I do not argue with them but I do explain to them what is correct. Overall the only issues I have had at Rite Aid concerning any coupons are the newer barcodes because our Rite Aids are not able to scan these yet and I have had a few cashiers act like the coupons are no good because they do not start with a ‘5’ (Which I had to explain to them that they were wrong and most coupons do not follow that rule anymore, besides the fact that some start with a 9) Maybe I am just a pain and they want to get me out of the way so I will leave, but stand your ground, it isn’t right for the cashier to tell you incorrect things or make up their own rules and they should know about it.

    • Alla

I had almost the same issue with my maybelline coupon. It beeped and did not go through then the cashier said I could not use it because it says it’s only for the lipstik. I pointed it out to her that it does say OR any lip product then she called the manager and the manager said it says OR any NEW YORK MAybelline product then I had to show the item to her as well that this item is Maybelline NEW YORK and she understood I was right. She appologized and I was not rude I just explained her politely and kind of opened their eyes to read the coupon and the product well. I got all 4 baby lips for $0.09 each. My Rite Aid stuff is coupon friendly and they know me well by now. And I only go to the same Rite Aid cuz the rest of the RA round the town are not that coupon friendly.

  35. Jordan Hoff

Rite Aid won’t let you use 2 coupons for B1G1 items will they?

    • terri

      no, only 1 coupon on a b1g1

  36. Alisa

I’m not sure…but I was only trying to use two coupons on four lip balms…that works, right? But the issue was the coupon itself, whether it could be used on only lipsticks and glosses but not lipbalms.

    • Tiffany

You should be able to use 4 coupons on those lip balms. I have done it several times. You are able to use $ off coupons on a buy one get one half off sale. However, you are not supposed to use bogo coupons on a bogo sale. I cannot remember if technically you can use multiple dollar off coupons on a bogo sale because my store does allow me to do this (as they get reimbursed anyways) Collin has the coupon policy for Rite aid at the very top of the post in a link. It should be listed.

  37. Steph

I was at rite aid the other day and I found a huge section of clearance make up on an end cap and I had a $2.00 off any Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick from the Feb VV and the lipstick was priced at $1.24. When I went to the cashier, the lady told me she cannot use those coupons on clearance items, I didn’t understand because it didn’t sate anywhere on the coupon itself and in their coupon policy I couldn’t use the VV coupons clearance items. Is this true? It was the first time i tried, so I’m not sure if it was a mistake on my part or the cashier’s. Thanks

    • Tabitha

I had the same thing happen to me with a clearance item. I was told you CANNOT use a coupon on clearance items. That’s the second time I’ve been told that. Would love to know if thats there policy or just the cashiers?

  38. Emily

I would also like to let everyone know if you bank with chase and use your debit card at rite aide you will get 2% back on your purchase you have to run it through as a credit with out the pin to get the 2% back and I think you may have to activate it on their online banking site but this makes all those sweet deals even sweeter.
