Here in Wichita, KS, I tried doing this over lunch… I had the last two in the store… And I tried doing this, but it beeped. The cashier was pretty rude about it, so I told her to just take them back. 🙁

Milwaukee, WI…went to two Walgreens before 9:00am and all went well. Went to a third Walgreens after 1:00pm and was beeped.

Worked on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday at lunch it beeped. The manager said they got an email saying it was only for the big bags.

I am a walgreen’s employee and I wanted to take advantage of the FREE Jelly beans offer but when I got to work they had put a block on the coupon b/c to many people were taking advantage of it by multiple(s) like seriously did you have to ruin it for the rest of us.

I told my mom to go to Walgreens and to get some bags of these jelly beans with the coupon in the March coupon booklet, And she went and found the bags but the manager said oh you can’t buy those with that coupon because we adjusted it because people were coming in with those coupons and buying tons of bags because they went on that stupid coupon website and they found out they got theirs for free, but we won’t be having that happen here. RUDE MUCH?

Just went to two Walgreens none will honor this coupon.

Tried today before I saw this wasn’t working and the coupon didn’t work. I did point out to the cashier that the coupon didn’t have a size requirement so it should’ve worked and he didn’t disagree. Should’ve tried yesterday.

Guess I should have read comments before I tried today. The cashier was ready for me! Too bad about people clearing shelves ruining the deal for others who only wanted a few (I tried to get 2 bags).

Darn it, I was actually using two at a time as a filler, which worked out great so I would be able to use my register rewards. What a bummer.

Here in Enfield, Ct I Just got back from finally getting out to do my errands. Like others, I should’ve checked the comments again before I went. However, I figured it was going to be like the chapstick deal. The first store I went to had none, the other store had a sign next to the small size jelly beans. Said something about “SORRY – there was an error in the March rebate coupon booklet for the jelly beans. That the coupon was intended for the larger size bags”. So, I didn’t even bother trying – they had plenty of bags of jelly beans, but it appears they caught on quick to the “error” & corporate had them put up the sign. If I had tried to buy them w/the coupon, it would’ve beeped & I would’ve just left the jelly beans. That’s what happens when you hear of a deal & don’t move quick enough. I’ve gotten enough “great deals” thru Collin – this just reinforces the “early bird gets the worm” saying.
Thanks for all your help Collin & for allowing us all to have a place to share our “war stories – victories & defeats!”. 🙂

I am in Arkansas & the manager was nice enough to adjust the price for me. With no hassle. Maybe he was nice about it because I only had two bags.
