The coupon states on Easter items. Are those considered Easter? They don’t look like they have any special Easter packaging. Well I was headed to Walgreens today anyway so might as well try it 🙂
They were located with the Easter candy and both stores I went to yesterday. Kinda hard to spot at one store though. They were on an eye level shelf, but behind the Russel Stovers candy that’s 3/$1 My mom happened to move a box because it was empty and I saw the Life Savers logo. At the 2nd store, they were also with the Easter candy, and on an eye level shelf with other individual candy, but much easier to spot. This is a bigger store though, so more shelf space to display everything whereas the 1st store is smaller and everything was bunched up.
The coupon went through no problem both times, I bought 20 total (10 at each store) which I’m going to fill plastic eggs with for our Easter Egg hunt! I’ve got over 100 to fill, so free jelly beans leaves me with extra $$ for other stuff. (some will have jelly beans, others trinkets, stickers, quarters or $1 bills!)
I’m hoping they won’t all be gone after work 🙁

Worked in Clearwater Florida. They are in the Easter section, they are the small bags. I bought 20 of them with one coupon. I thought it would be a cute idea for my daughter to hand them out to her classmates and teachers for Easter. You do have to pay sales tax on them.
No sales tax in AZ!! wahoo! for free candy! LOL I am “the candy queen”!!

You are probable the inconsiderate lady who was at the store in margate on 441 near sample rd. I saw you yesterday buttering up the lady in costmetics. You had over 55 bottles of body wash in tied up bags paid for behind the counter and then you went back for more. I passed you and gave u dirty looks and you knew it. I JUST WANTED 2 RIGHT GUARD BODY WASH so i could try them. Shame on you! I want the stores to impose limits due to inconsiderate people like you.

Hi Kim I’m from Michigan I went to 2 Walgreen no luck went to one by my house got 16 packs. Kim its going to be hard finding them.
Think it is a dead deal now as I tried and mgr said it was for bigger bags when it beeped coupon not found for item buying.
Worked for me 20 minutes ago so not dead yet…at least not in Wisconsin.
You have to look for them. They’re 2.25 oz. bags, so check that single-serve area. The coupon says “one coupon per customer”, and I only used one coupon. I thought I got 8 but my coupon deducted $4.50, so I must’ve miscounted and got 9. I wasn’t greedy, either, and didn’t take what was in the box, and left a good 12 more. Plus, I saw another case up on the top shelf, before anyone cries out that I took more than two. Just wanted to pass on my success and hopefully helpful hints for others. Yeah, when I got there, the bigger bag rang up $2.99, so I knew I had to look for something smaller.

So glad I saw this before I left. I got 6. The cashier kept saying “I hope I don’t get in trouble for this” and I can’t see why she would get in trouble…the coupon doesn’t limit the size. I thought about what I needed and bout what I needed. Kids at our school don’t exchange Easter candy like they do valentines. Deals have been slim lately so I was happy to see this. I was going for the deodorant and so happy to see some left at my store. Thanks for the post Collin and I hope people know there are lots of coupon era put there so even if you think you are leaving a lot for everyone else, if we all just take a few then more people can get a sweet deal. Let’s not be greedy. I wish all the stores had these size bags for the rest of you (ps, they are in the Easter candy section)
I have done it twice today and I got the little bags that are 2/1.00 my Walgreens only had the Lifesaver Jelly beans. Both times worked no beeps, and I paid the .06 cents. Easter Basket Stuffers for sure!

i went to walgreens and they where out cashier said someone went early and took then all except one 🙁
I tried to get 8 bags at my local Walgreens and she said that Corporate printed a retraction in the newspaper on the coupon. I had gotten 10 bags at a previous store and didn’t want to wipe them out but wanted to get enough for our girl scout meeting next week. I always seem to have problems with this cashier too as she has not taken some of my printed coupons because she couldn’t get them to scan.

Deal worked at 2 stores and beeped at a 3rd store. The lady working in cosmetics said that she heard some stores were using this coupon “inappropriately” since she said it is only good on the bigger bags. If that is the case, they should state ounces or specific sizes, not just “good on any”.
I got a bunch with no problem and when some friends went to do the deal, Walgreens told them it was a misprint and they would not let them get the small bags….same walgreens that i went to 3 hours earlier and it worked like a charm!!
Went to one this morning got 6 and it worked went to 4 more later in the day – None would let me do it. One even scanned the coupon and it was not working. Ours had 6 boxes filled with about 50 bags in each box – they had plenty.
Is it currently scanning for anyone any longer or is the deal dead?

I live in Texas and I just got 6 and went back and got 10 more since I had to open a new box. Worked for me and no tax. The cashier said he was back there and get him some.

Went to my Walgreens yesterday the very rude manager said it was a mistake and even though they were now in my buggy he had to take them back. He also said 30 minutes before me 1 woman bought some .
Just curious was I the only one that had trouble?
I have a question about he coupon. I have 7 children so I need to buy 8 total. Can I buy 8 at once and use the coupon and they will all be FREE? Or 4 seperate transactions? Please let me know. TIA 🙂
The coupon is still working in upstate NY as of this morning (about 9:30am) bought about 20 (there was another entire box I left there for someone else) and the cashier only scaned the coupon once (after the first one) and it worked on all the other 19 in all one transation…no issues I only paid tax.
I tried this AM in Hayward, CA and it would not work 🙁

My wags wouldn’t honor coupon for small size. Cashier actually wanted to show me where they had posted coupon on shelf for large bags. I did take the survey & expressed how I felt about their not being able to intrepret their own coupons. If they want to limit to certain size they should put that on coupon; it’s not like this is there 1st coupon book.

IT didn’t work here, she said it was for the bigger bags, but there was no size limit on the coupon! The register beeped! Do I have to get more than two for it to work?
No longer working, went at lunch and they informed me the registers had been updated overnight.
The lovely cashier was nice enough to test it for me to make sure first.
The register also beeped for me. The manager gave me the two I was trying buy.
