Looks like 1 paper week as nothing exciting or any free products

    • Maria

The dunkin donuts one seems pretty nice to me!
Still, I only need 1 paper.
I mean, a free medium iced tea or coffee every monday is just a wonderful start to the week.

      • jane

where did you find this coupon? didn’t have it in south florida πŸ™

  2. Linda

I’m in the Chicagoland area, and got a $5 off any Fannie May coupon in my packet of coupons and sale fliers. Almost free Easter candy!!!

  3. Fabulously Frugal In Florida

In The st lucie county Floirda paper We Finally Got Both Inserts , But we Did not get any of the suave coupons, biore, carefree or the one to make the snickers eggs free at wags πŸ™

Has anyone had any problems with Target accepting coupons??? After 3 hours of shopping and accruing a $300 bill most of my coupons weren’t being accepted and the cashier and manager both told me that Target corporate has told them they can’t force the coupon through like they usually do, due to corporate trying to prevent fraudulent coupons from being used. I’m so mad right now…all of my coupons are totally legit…even the ones I have from the papers weren’t going through…as well as the ones I printed off of Target’s web site πŸ™

    • Eileen

I have never done this but sometimes it needs to be done, I think you should have call corp/ customer service. right then and there. I used to work at Target and I know for a fact that if everything is legit corp/ customer service will tell them to push it threw.

      • Becky

They told me to call/email/mail corporate and let them know I’m unhappy…which I’ve already complained on their facebook page and sent them an email and asked them to call me. They said their hands were tied since corporate said they can’t over-ride the computer. It’s so aggravating, especially since I work full time and try to coupon as much as possible…I missed out on some really good deals that have coupons that expire tonight all because of this mess πŸ™

    • Melissa

Has anyone had any problems with Target accepting coupons??? YES! I have had cashiers scrutinize each coupon I hand them like a mother examining her child’s head after being being informed of a lice outbreak in her child’s class. They stop after each coupon to verify that I bought each and every product. I tend to have particular problems with P&G coupons, even if the coupon shows a picture of the product. What you referred to as “pushing through” seems to be what they have to do for all the coupons.

      • Becky

The cashiers I’ve gotten haven’t been too bad with the scrutinizing, a little slow perhaps when it comes to making sure I have all the items needed to accept the coupon tho. I’ve noticed they have to force the coupons through a lot…pretty much all the time. I wonder if they don’t update their coupon databases very often??? Tonight sent me into a fit tho, I have coupons that expire tonight and all because of this fiasco, they’re DOA and I’m out all the good deals I spent 3 hours finding.

        • irene

I feel for you. It is completely frustrating. Their own ip Qs have beeped a lot. Try calling corp again, hopefully getting a more helpful rep. If all else fails, you could bring everything back, explain it to the manager on duty that day. They may retro-deduct the Qs in question. If not, just return everything.

I had a Walmart cashier tell me that she couldnt type in the amount for a coupon that was buy one get one free. She kept trying to scan the coupon and of course the dollar amount would not come up because the coupon doesnt know how much the store charges for the item. I told her she just needed to type in the amount of the item from the ledger and she said she was told not to do that. Another cashier finally stepped in and told her to do it.
I had a BiLo cashier hand me back the coupons and say sorry these wont scan. Thankfully the person bagging the groceries knew better and showed her how to handle coupons.
I think many stores fall short when it comes to properly training their cashiers how to handle coupons.

    • Shannon

Whenever a cashier hands a coupon back to me and tells me that it won’t scan, I just smile politely and say, “Let’s get a manager.” That usually motivates them to either try harder to get the coupon in or the manager comes and does it for them.

If the “manager” they send over (usually a customer service manager if Target/ Wal-Mart or an Assistant Manager for drugstores) cannot help me, I just ask for the store manager.
