I registered using just my Twitter account but I am wondering how do they know my cardholder# and email address just from that? I have checked around to see if there is more to the registration process but don’t see anything…..what am I missing guys?!!
After you click the “Follow Us” button another link will come up that says “Register Now” – click that button and it will ask you to type in your Extracare card # and your email address and then it will give you a confirmation stating you are register and look out for the email 🙂

After you “allow” the app on your Twitter account, then you have to “follow” CVS on Twitter. Then it will ask for your cardholder # and e-mail address.

Is twitter just like Facebook? I don’t use twitter so I have no clue if it’ll be worth signing up just for this.
I have a twitter account simply for giveaways like this! I don’t use it for anything except signing up for freebies!

I feel the same way. 🙁 Also I have to make sure a lot of the Facebook apps won’t spam all my friends.
I have a second account for ONLY these kinds of things. The only time I use my personal twitter/facebook is if it’s an offer I know more then 1 friend will use. Since it takes no time to make the second accounts, you can consider doing that, I don’t even use my full name just basics.
When the fb box comes up for All/Don’t Allow a particular app, in the bottom left corner click on the down arrow/asterisk icon and you have the option to select “Only me”. That way the advertising post only shows on your own fb screen, not all of your friends’.
ps, I don’t have/do Twitter, so I don’t know how that works, but I bet there is something similar.
