I LOVE this app! I only started using it this past Wednesday evening and I’ve already got almost 15,000 pts!! That is enough for a $10 gc or a couple of $5 but I’m waiting hoping that they will have Target again:) Its super easy and why not get paid to watch TV? Oh and I haven’t changed my viewing habits in the slightest…..just kids shows in the mornings and things in the evening after kids are asleep (7pm-11pm or so) plus basketball tourney added a lot of bonus. Anyways LOVE IT!!!

You get lots of points from the additional point earning oppertunities. I “watch” the commercials on my i-touch while I’m checked into the show I’m watching on tv so earning from 2 sources at once time. Commercials are worth between 15-100 points each and last between 15 seconds and 2.5 minutes. You can earn 12K points a day and I’ve topped out several times.
Probably the best & easiest, and most rewarding app that the iPhone has to offer.
I just started using viggle on my ipod touch…I love it so far! Only been using it a couple of days, so haven’t earned any gift cards yet, but I’m well on my way. So simple and you earn points pretty quickly. I’m sure I’ll be cashing out plenty of cards from them! 🙂

from my understanding each user can set up an account, so that should mean even if you have 5 phones in your home, they all should be able to set an account. Im sure you need to be 18 or have a parent approve, been trying to find but haven’t. If someone knows that can you respond?

I just started using this app last weekend and am already up to almost 8000 points, and that’s only checking in within a two-hour tv-watching time in the evenings! I am a chronic channel surfer so it works well for me because I can check in to a bonus show for 10 minutes, find something else to watch and check in again! I’m excited to earn enough points for Best Buy gift cards!
I got boggle a few months ago and I have 3 movie tickets that I redeemed points for and now I’m up to 23,— points. I’m saving up for target or somewhere I could really utilize a gc from. 🙂 love this app!!!

Viggle is my favorite app:-))) I have received the following gift cards-Target (I am hoping they bring them back soon), Burger King, Papa Johns and CVS. I am up to $75 in Best Buy gift cards. I am saving up for a new television or an ipad.
I wish I could do this but I have an android phone. I was going to make my daughter put it one her ipod touch but it’s a 2g without a mic so it won’t work. Hope they come out with an android version soon!
You should be able to get it to work with the i-touch if you buy the ear piece that has a microphone on it. They are not too expensice and you’ll make enough at the app to get that back really quickly!
no need for a mic at all. I use it on my 1st gen iPad. It “listens” twice to sign in and since it can’t “hear” what you are watching, it lets you manually sign in. LOVE this app!
I have been trying to do that but it never checks me in manually, I`m not sure if I am doing this right, and I can`t find info on it anywhere, sorry for such a stupid question, but I was wondering if you could explain it a little more ?Thanks for your time.
It sounds like not everyone is able to check in manually. Not sure why I can but… On my 1st Gen iPad, I tap the purple screen to check in, it listens, then says something like “hmmm, cant find your show” and asks me to tap again to listen, at that point it still can’t find it and asks me to “search” for my show. I type in the name and it come in a drop down and I can manually check in. HTH! I guess it doesn’t work that way for everyone. You could ask on their Facebook wall…
I’ve gotten $187 in gift cards so far (movie tickets, CVS, Papa John’s, JCP, Starbucks, Chili’s) and have enough saved for another $100 when I decide there is something I “have” to have! I started Feb 6th so that is all in less then 2 months! Get the app you won’t regret it!
Quick question…once I “check in” to a show…..how long do I need to watch that show and when do the points show up? Just downloaded the app and just did my first check in. Thanks!
You can change the channel and or turn off the i-device and it will continue to earn points till the show is over or untill you check into another show. You must be checked into a show for at least 10 minutes in order to get the bonus points (you get 2 points per minute no matter what show you are watching).
When so the points show up? After I check into another show? Right now I am still showing 0 and have been watching the show for a bit now! Thanks

Does anybody know how much your able to earn a year? Also i know when banks have promotions( ex. earn 100$ when opening up a checking account) they send you a form to claim that on your taxes, didnt know if you had to do that with this since its “free money”?

I have read that you can redeem up to $550 in rewards in one year. As far as the claim form, I am not really sure. I know I didn’t get a claim form last year when I got gift cards by using Swagbucks. So maybe its the same as that.

When I signed up in the beginning of Feb it read that there were no limits on earning but earning over $550 would cause a tax form to be sent to you. Since then they have changed their terms to allow you to earn a max of $550, I’m thinking they don’t want to issue all those papers for the IRS!
do you have to have an I phone for this to work? Do you watch the shows on your I phone?????
You have to have an i-phone, i-pod touch, or i-pad. I use my i-pod touch. You watch the show on your tv as you normally would but use the i-device to “check in” on the app.
I LOVE VIGGLE . viggle is my favorite app!!! I got $50 in best buy gift card and $10 in CVS gift card, I have started march 21st …….its only 8days wow….
I am a new user, just downloaded the app. Is it possible to use multiple gift cards for a purchase. Reading the rules it does not appear you can do this – I was hoping to save multiple best buy cards and put it towards a tv……thanks
yes you can use them as gift cards. as many as you have.
It depends on the gift card. Best Buy and CVS let you use multiple but I’ve heard some of the stores limit how many you can use (I could only use 1 on Papa John’s web site and the guy at the store wasn’t able to add anymore when I went in to pick up the pizza). It may be YMMV depending on who checks you out.
How does this work with DVR? Do you have to be watching the shows at their original time? Or can you watch them later? Thanks.

Yes, you can use Viggle to check-in to most recorded shows. Our ability to match recorded shows is steadily improving, but currently works for content recorded within the last seven days.
If the audio verification fails, you will not be able to manually check-in to recorded shows.
It totally does work with DVR shows, I dvr all of my shows because of my busy schedule and I get all my points! Good luck!! 🙂
I DVR my favorite shows so i can watch them uninterrupted after the kids go to bed and i always get my Viggle points.

Just started using the app and loving it! I am hoping to get enough to use at Best Buy to get my daughter a Kindle Fire. Can you use multiple eGift codes on one purchase? Has anyone done this?
You can use multiple Best Buy gift cards at the stores. You’ll need to print out the certficates, since many people have reported that the BB scanners can’t read the bar code from an iPhone/iPod (something to do with the glare on the screen). I’ve used six printed gift cards at one time to purchase the Kindle-branded Amazon gift cards (they can be used for anything on Amazon, not just in the Kindle Store).
So does it work for an ipad? I don’t own a cell phone– and my ipod is an older nano-
This gives me a reason to buy an ipad I really want!

Yes it works on iPad. I was doing it on m iPad and my husband on his iPhone and since we started a couple months ago we earned enough best buy cards to pay for my new iPhone and got one for my mom! Tax covered and all!! Best app ever.
Does anyone know if you have multiple people in your household using viggle? Like if I use my Ipod touch and my boyfriend uses his iphone?
my daughter and i both have an iphone and we both have viggle. we havnt had any problems with it so far so i dont think it matters how many devices you are using it on. HTH
viggle is the best app!! so far we have “earned” $25 in Target GC and $25 in Best Buy GC. I also have 47,000 points now….just waiting to cash them in 🙂
I just started using viggle also, do i have to keep my iphone on ( it automatically shuts off after one minute) while i am watching the bonus shows? does it automatically know if i change the channel?
No need to keep the phone on. It assumes you are watching the show to the end unless you check into something else (a great way to get bonus points…check into a show with bonus points at the beginning of the show, stay checked in for 10+ minutes then check into a different show with more bonus points).

I downloaded this last week for my Ipod Touch and am unable to “check in” it just thinks forever then goes back to the main “check in” screen but doesn’t connect. Anybody know what I might be doing wrong? I am able to earn points watching the commercials on the app in the mean time.. but it won’t connect to my tv!
The earlier iPod Touch doesn’t have a microphone, therefore, it can’t “hear” the TV. You can buy a microphone from Amazon for $1.75 shipped…I thought it was worth it, just waiting on it to arrive now!
I have a 1st generation iPad and here is what I do. It tries to check in, but sends me to the purple screen, I try a second time and then it brings up a manual check in screen where I type in the name of the show and it checks in that way. Have you tried that on your Touch?
It doesn’t send me to a manual check in screen.. just thinks forever then goes back to the purple check in screen.. I will try it w/a microphone and see what happens! Thanks for the info!
must be a Touch thing then. I tap to sign in,….listens- nothing.. then get a “hmm try again” prompt and I tap again. After the second tap it takes on to a screen that says “check in” and has a search box for me to find the show.

I have had a similar prob, I have an older generation I-pod touch. Mine never even listens, after I tap the the check in, it just brings me to the purple page with the viggle logo and the x at the top. I just want mine to at least try to listen. We have installed and reinstalled. I am just at a lost. I guess I will try the mic, hopefully that will work.

Other than the “what’s on” tab, is there any way to see how much other shows are worth?
If the show does not have bonus points it is worth 2 points per minute you are checked in. So a 60 minute soap is worth 120 points and a 30 minute cartoon is worth 60 points. Of course if you aren’t checked in for the whole program you’ll get only the points for the minutes you are checked in.
I am loving this ap also. I’ve been getting CVS gift cards, but I might start with the best buy to get a big ticket item.

I am hoping they have an Android version soon. I wish they had a way you could use the app with your computer, I have an itunes account but only have an ipod shuffle. My computer is already close to the tv and I would definitely hook up the microphone to the computer if I could use this app on it.

hey fellow viggle users! i have a question; does anybody know if there is a limit on how many best buy gift cards one can redeem? (i plan to save up for an ipad or kindle and am currently up to 286,562 pts) – should i do it?!
The last I heard the limit was $500 for the year so you are ok. You can also buy Amazon kindle gift cards at Best Buym (which can be used to buy anything at Amazon). That is what I did in order to buy my Kindle Fire, then there is no sales tax.
