Recyclebank Passport for the Planet Sweeps: Earn 85 More Points in Asia
Yay! Asia is now unlocked and you can earn 85 more points!
As I mentioned last week, Recyclebank is celebrating Earth Month and has launched their newest challenge, Passport for the Planet! This new promotion will take you on a virtual trip around the world where you can learn sustainable stories from other countries, collect over 500 Recyclebank Points, and earn chances toward amazing prizes vacations to Florida and Amazon gift cards!
For a chance to win, there will be weekly sweepstakes and a contest that you can enter! For the sweepstakes, just collect points in Passport for the Planet at least once during each sweeps week during April and you’ll be entered to be one of over 100 winners. For the contest, Recyclebank will be awarding prizes for members who earn the most points by interacting with their content & referring friends between April 2nd and May 7th.

What is Recyclebank?
If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

What am I missing? I got 5 points for the “extra,greener strides”, then I got 10 points for China with scissors, 10 points for Japan, and 10 points for India. I did not get points for the photo…. I don’tt know how to do that….. So, I got 35 points, not 85. HELP. Thanks.

i had to hit Ctrl and the minus sign to make my screen size smaller to see some of the icons that were buried under the boxes on the right due to my screen size.
hmm..that is only 80…i must be missing one too
are they counting the daily bonus for 5 as part of the 85?
nothing like answering myself 3 times. lol. fuzzy head today. 85 pts on the map + 5 daily bonus points + the 15 for the Neutrogena Naturals upper right box

Karen, I was wondering how to remove that BIG BOX…Thanks for the tip. I will try that next time. Does the Control, minus also work for the “blue box” that covers facebook icons under the “picture” also, I can “see” something is under that, but can’t remove the Blue box… Very frustrating. You are very smart, and I appreciate it. Thanks.
Well…I wouldn’t say I am very smart. After posting that I figured out an easier way…if you put your mouse on the map pic it will slide in any direction…up/down or right/left etc so you can see under the boxes that way. Ha ha. That is probably easier.
I am not sure what you mean on the Facebook question…I can’t stand the new Timeline thing on FB so I installed SocialFixer for Facebook and it can change a lot of the things on FB. It never hurts to try the “Control Minus” to see if it helps. If it doesnt you can just make it go back to the way it was by doing “Control Plus Sign” one or more times to get it back.
Hmmmm… this is not working for me. When I click “collect points” nothing happens. I’m using Chrome like I do with all other Recyclebank activites.
Amber, try again. Mine was slow too. I didn’t think I got my points, but on the Upper Right, it did show up. God Luck.
