UPDATE – Darn! Looks like they are now charging $4.99 shipping for the Vitamin D3 product 🙁 , however you can still sign up to get your FREE $10 Vitacost credit 😀

WooHoo!  As I’ve mentioned a few times before, Vitacost.com is still offering up $10 off ANY order for new customers whenever you sign up for a new account through this link here (yes, this is my referral link). After going through the link, click on the “Click Here Now” link and create a new account. After creating your account, you should get the following message:

So, just click to start shopping! And then make sure to check your inbox before heading to checkout, as you should have received an email with a $10 off exclusive coupon code. The email will have the subject line “Here’s your $10 Coupon for Vitacost.com.”  This coupon code will need to be pasted in the “Promo Code” box under the payment info section.

Now here is where this deal gets even sweeter!  You see, through 4/12 (or while supplies last), Vitacost is offering FREE shipping on your entire order when you purchase this Vitacost Vitamin D3 (200 capsules) priced at $4.99 (or other more expensive items found here).  That means you’ll basically have an additional $5.01 to spend on whatever product/products you like with NO money out of pocket after the $10 code! 🙂

And with the leftover amount, you may be interested in snagging FREE Peanut butter, Paper towels, Coconut Milk, Baby Food, Pasta, Oatmeal, Hand Soap, Toilet paper or any other organic items!  Yep, all of the items pictured above and below (+ LOTS more) would be completely FREE after the $10 credit and FREE shipping! Plus, don’t forget to add 2 FREE samples to your cart (included with every order)! 😀

* Please keep in mind that you will need to enter your credit card info, however, you will not be billed if your total is $0 after the promo code has been applied. Also, the Paypal option does appear to work with the promo code too!

* Side note, the links in this post are my referral links. Keep in mind that you can also create your own referral link to share with friends, family, and on your own Facebook / Twitter pages. When they go through your link, they’ll get $10 to spend and you’ll get $10 to spend… so it’s a win win! 😀

Thanks! I got some baby shampoo and peach fruit spread to go along with the vitamins. I know they are probably overloaded, and I won’t be surprised if they cancel orders, which will make the jelly a special treat if they fill the orders! Thank you. 🙂

  2. jen

I am not a new customer but referred someone and they placed their first order. Does anyone know how long it takes for me to get my referral credit? Do we get an email or will it just be in my account? Thanks!

    • Laura

I don’t remember how long it took, but they wil email you.

    • Sarah

I never got an email. I just figured it didn’t work since I did it back in Feb and never heard. When I logged in tonight I had the $10 credit. So I’m not sure how long it took.

  5. Pinky

I tried to order and hit the final buy now button and was given a screen saying temporarily busy or something like that. I went back and tried again and it said code had already been used. Any thoughts, did it go through or am I just out of luck?

    • Tabitha

That happened with my sis, just check your account and the order will show it went through 🙂

  6. lpmousse

So it looks like the sign up emails are running a little slow now, but the codes do come. Try logging out and back in again if it doesn’t show up after 20 minutes. My mom signed up and it took an hour but she did finally get it.
Also, it seems to work faster when I emailed the invite directly, my mom got that before she got the one from clicking my link.
If anyone wants to try that email me your address and I will invite you, plus it will help me get baby stuff for my brother and his wife’s baby shower. Thank you for all that already used my link! I do as much as I can to help and support my brother, since he gives so much being in the military.

Where do I find the referral link??

  12. andrea

  13. Kathleen

Thank you Collin..Everything worked exactly as you said. Got the vitamin d and some Jason hand soap my total was 00.00!! Yay!

  14. Shelia

We successfully used the promo code, but got charged 4.99 for shipping even with the D3 product in the cart. Total cost 0.00 plus 4.99 shipping. Anyone else have this issue?

    • Jen B.

i was just going to post the same thing! it shows me a cost of $3 on one page and then jumps to $8 as soon as i get to the page with the final info on it. maybe the free shipping promo with the vitamin d might be over 🙁

      • danielle

My Mother and I both JUST used it and it worked. My total was .66 and my Moms was 1.16. We got some baking mixes that I can take on my trip next month to make with my nieces! 🙂

  15. Krista

Not to be negative, but I think it’s really inappropriate to post your own referral link in the comments. This is how Collin makes her living, and most of the great deals she posts do not put any money at all in her pocket. It’s kind of like bringing your own food into a restaurant. Actually, it’s more like bringing sandwiches and cookies into a restaurant and selling them to the other customers. Please post your referral link on facebook, twitter or send it to your friends in an e-mail. Or, you can start your own great blog.

    • Jenn

Totally agree!!! I went through her link and just did the deal. Thanks Collin! 🙂

    • Sarah

Thank You!! Well said. Collin puts a ton of work into this site and she should get the benefit from posting this. Share your links on your own pages not hers.

    • VictoriaF

I completely agree as well!! It is so nice of Collin to allow these comments with referral links. But I believe it’s completely inappropriate to post your own links on her blog.

      • Ashley

I agree too! I signed up under Collin!

    • luella

I completely disagree, I think Collin has created this great blog in which we have all become a community. And so it is only natural that we would feel comfortable asking for help and for support, so if you feel like you would like to help a fellow couponer out and use their link, so that they could get the $10 credit, I think Colin would be okay with us making that decision. Case and point, if she didn’t like us helping each other out and only wanted us to use her link, she wouldn’t allow us to post our own. But I respect your opinion and that is why everyone has free will and can choose to only use Colin’s link. But I think that to say what you said and to speak on behalf of Colin, is really disrespectful of you. Because you make Colin sound petty when she is a really generous person and doesn’t care if we use other links. Because she has always advocated that we help each other out whenever possible.

      • Krista

I wasn’t speaking for Collin – she is perfectly able to speak for herself. 🙂
But in MY opinion, it’s not petty to give credit where credit is due. This is HER blog. She posted the deal. I think it’s very disrespectful to try to scoop up the affiliate fees when she has worked so hard to establish this blog and it’s the main way she gets paid (The ads only pay pennies per click). This isn’t like leaving an unused coupon on the shelf for the next person – this is directly taking money out of her pocket. All IMHO, of course.

    • lacy

Well thats not exactly how a website like this works. She gets money for traffic into her site with the ads she has along the sides ect. Beside collin usually encourages ppl to do this.

      • Krista

Collin encourages people to post their referral links on their own Facebook/Twitter accounts, not here on her blog.

  16. Natasha

I used the overage to get my kitties a special treat 🙂 signed my mom and dad up too and used their extra to get more cat stuff. haha. at least the pets with benefit and my whole fam will have some vitamin D!

  17. Natasha

Also, I used your link Collin! Hope your account gets all kinds of $$$ in it 🙂

  18. shandimessmer

I paid for my shipping, but got $10 worth of products for $4.99 shipped. More than $10 if you add in their site discounts and the 2 free samples!

  19. Sharon

I used your link and then made my own to share. Thanks so much for this deal!

  20. emkiley

Collin, thank you for this vitamin scenario! I’d been waiting for the free shipping since the toothpaste deal ran out in February (:

If anyone feels like absolutely making this penny-pinching grad student’s day, please don’t hesitate to use my referral link!

    Thanks a million!

  21. shayna

Not a good deal if you live in Alaska or Hawaii. Were excluded from the free shipping and they want $10 to ship my $10 order. Anyone want my $10 off code?

can someone please my referral? my family and I would greatly appreciate it! We really need to save as much as we can since the hubby has been working a lot less. 🙁

  24. Pinky

So it looks liek my order went through. What is vitamin D3. I mean I know what vitamin D is good for but what is D3, how is it different?

    • Krista

Vitamin D2 (usually just called Vitamin D) is synthesized by plants. Vitamin D3 is synthesized by humans in the skin when it is exposed to UVB rays from sunlight. The D3 form is thought to be a much better supplement.

  25. wanda miller

    • lor
