I got my Target reusable bag (perfect lunch bag size) complete with Target coupon booklet (over $53 savings) and free samples of Annie’s Organic granola bar, Garnier shampoo/conditioner, Mrs. Meyer’s liquid dish soap, and Yes to Cucumbers facial towelette… Thanks, Collin for such a great site, I <3 hip2save.. I'm making my mom head out to JoAnn Fabrics and the Disney store because I have work and then later I'm going to trade in for Origins! Happy Earth Day!!

The Target bag is small, but it comes with coupons and a bunch of free samples!
People are reporting getting a nice amount of samples and coupons in the Target bag. Too bad there is not a Target near me.

Got my target bag but no coupons or samples in mine (southport,in)
Mine didn’t either and it was missing the support liner. My friend went to a different Target and had the support liner in their bag plus samples.
At my Target they had so many of the bags with samples and then more that did not have any. They had probably given all the ones with samples away already.
I’m in WI and there were no samples here either!! However, the bag is cute & I did get the coupon book.
I believe Starbucks is also celebrating Earth Day. If you bring in a re-usable cup, they will fill it with a free coffee or tea (no blended drinks included though!) 🙂
The links that have been floating around are from 2011. I read a number of comments on their facebook page that people went to/called their local Starbucks and were told that only Canadian Starbucks are participating this year.
Actually,while i was getting my free reusable bag, i got free coffee in my tumbler at the Starbucks stand at Target. Also,at origins there where handing out free vitamin water as well.
The origins I went to had cookies and tea, it was a nice treat paired with the free face moisturizer.

Target sample bags were great…my twin boys got to much on the organic granola bars in them which helped keep them in good moods while I shopped! Yay! Plus the cashier will take off the $.05 for using a reusable bag at checkout. Also, check your mailboxes, because I just receieved my $5 Giftcard from Real SImple Rebate from buying the Dove Milk Chocolate Egs back before Easter. Happy Earth Day!
Origins trade in deal is for a trial size (1.7 oz) not the full size they advertise.
I think that is the full size. A lot of theequivalent high end moisturizers I turned in were 1.7oz.
Got the bad in Boardman, Ohio. They were handing them out when you check out, but no samples included. Also went to Caribou for the first time for some free coffee and it was good! Made up for the Target trip 🙂

ugh, I didn’t realize the Target bag actually came with samples & coupons, I thought it was just a bag so I skipped it…guess I should’ve paid more attention to that!
But I just had to say that the girl at my Origins was such a snot about the whole thing. First I tried to give her a spot treatment type of thing but she wouldn’t take it b/c I hadn’t even taken the seal off yet. Then she gave me a hard time b/c the moisturizer I brought (I brought a few items just in case) wasn’t empty, even though it didn’t have to be!! Then of course she tried to get me to buy other stuff but I said no so she was snotty about that too. I was like JUST GIMME MY FREEBIE & LET ME GO!! LOL I’m not trying to sound ungrateful, but I hate when employees get stank about giving out freebies!
My Target in West Covina, CA didn’t have samples inside.
Today my husband and I got lots of freebies: Got our 2 Penzey’s Spice jars, 2 recycle bags from Disney along with the free Bath and Body Works lotion. I plan to use the recycle bags as my packaging for 2 upcoming baby gifts. Something different. My lotions and spices, I’m adding to a basket that my college age son is giving to his Consumer Marketing Teacher with a gift card. He’s been telling her all semester, how my mother gets items all year for free, so he thought she would truely appreciate a basket of special freebies.

i love earth day! i picked up my free target bag (although it didn’t have any samples or coupons) and i adore the smaller size! i also hit up origins for the free moisturizer……i’m already a loyal origins customer, but love when they give out full sized freebies! the products this year aren’t ones i typically use, so it was great to have my regular lady working to tell me which one was more compatible with my personal skin issues. i love that company!
It was so funny when I went to Origins. Every female that was in line brought their husband or boyfriend with them so that they could get two freebies!
Many have said the Target bags are small, does anyone know the dimensions, approximately?

Had lots of fun this morning. Started off at Target. The bag is a great size for lunch and if you are just running in to a store for a couple of items. Then headed to the mall with my six year old daughter for the free reusable Disney bag. We discussed what Earth Day is about. Received my free moisturizer at Origins and got the Kiehls Lip Balm at Nordstrom. Ended the morning with some delicious hot pretzels (no coupon but delicious)! Thanks for a great post!
The origins store I went to had run out of the moisturizers, but they gave a great bag of samples! So, it was worth the trip!
The Target in Glendale, gave away bags only. No coupons or samples. The line at Origins was ptetty long. So, I didn’t wait. Might try later.
Went and got my free bag at target (no samples or coupons), my bag at Disney, B & BW lotion, and Origins lotion and while I was standing in line someone mentioned that Sephora was running the same deal. Luckily, I had an almost empty tube of lotion in my purse so I went up to Sephora and got more free Origins lotion. Did try the Starbucks deal and they had no idea what I was talking about. We rounded out the day by going to see Chimpanzee (super cute) and making bird houses out of milk cartons. Happy Earth Day!
Went to target around 3 pm after church n lunch so I knew it was late and they were out but found one in the red baskets, empty, so I am not sure they had freebies n coupons or not. Got a few Revlon beauty tools w $2 target coupon to make me feel better! Then on to origins at Macy’s and was too late but they offered me a few small samples so that was very nice of them! Got my Kiehls lip balm from Nordstrom and since origins didnt take my empty, made my hubby go back n get another lip balm. He asked, why am I asking for lipstick?? Aw, my newbie! And even scored a free iced coffee in my tumbler at the nordstrom coffee shop! And asked the bath n body works lady of she could give me three Malibu heat lotions since I had my other “customers” aka children with me. She did it! Just this time she said! I was grateful for the hookup!
Hubby and I each picked up a Target bag today. Got the samples and the coupon booklets inside. He ate both granola bars (or whatever they were) while we walked around the store :). Happy Earth Day!!
