  1. Kelly

Wow! Great week at Rite Aid! Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome, Kelly! 😀

  2. kate

i tried to use the airwick coupon last week but the cashier wouldn’t let me because it had overage. she told me i had to buy another bottle to cover the overage. bummer!

    • AG

It shouldn’t have been a bummer for you. Your cashier didn’t know the policy. Always print the policy, carry it with you and never be afraid to ask for a manager to correct things. You should never be turned away if you’re doing things the right way.

      • AG

Stick up for yourself at the register. 🙂 You (collective, not directed at you, Kate) don’t need to be a jerk, but be assertive. If you know you’re following the policy to a ‘t’ then don’t take no for an answer. Believe it or not, in the long run you’ll have a better relationship with the stores where you shop. 🙂

    • Crystal

i alway ask politely to speak to a manager when a cashier gives me a hard time over legitimate coupons.

      • Ann

I also tried to use a coupon that needed to be adjusted down. The cashier told me that they were not to hand put a coupon in to adjust the price but she didn’t know how to handle it. They also didn’t have a manager to ask as theirs had been transferred. So she found a 25 cent discounted candy so the coupon would be accepted. It worked. I don’t think that not having a manager was an acceptable reason as to not knowing how to adjust a coupon down.

    • Nichele

Strangley enough you almost have to teach the cashiers what the coupon policy is. I have a great relation ship with the Rite Aid store. So much that if there is a question on something and I am in the store all of the cashiers will ask me how it works or if this is correct. I’m good with that too. Not that they are trying to be mean or not honor the coupon, it’s just they don’t know what is correct. Be kind but firm and always carry a copy of the policy with you. Good luck.

    Awesome deals this week

  4. allison a

Off topic: Anyone have a VS 10 off 50 they won’t be using? I need new camis now that I’m done nursing. 🙂 daelalli at Gmail dot com. Thanks in advance!

  5. Marissa

On the Right Guard body wash buy 1 get 1 free, can you use a $2.00/2 coupon… Or does it only count as a purchase of 1 since 1 is free?
    Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Marissa!

Rite Aid only allows you to use a cents off coupon on the item that is not free in a Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale. For that reason, you would need to actually purchase 4 Right Guard Body Washes in order to use the $2/2 coupon. Hope that makes sense! 😀

      • Marissa

Perfect sense! Thanks so much! 🙂

      • amy

So how would that scenario work? Would you really only be paying for 1??? Sorry new to all this couponing.

        • amy

          oh nevermind, i thought i had a b1g1 q…sorry

  6. tami

Does anyone know if the softsoap bodywash is included with the $2 up? It is pictured in the ad but not in listed off to the side.

  7. akhila

for the Bayer Contour USB there is a $10 coupon in the diabetes coupon booklet and expires 4/30

  8. Melissa

What is the link for the $2 Nature Made manufacturer coupon? Thanks, and Thanks Collin for all you do. Your match ups are always the best!

  9. Zee

Wahooo!! Collin, you are AWESOME sistah! Great deal matchups this week fer sure!! Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome, Zee! 😀

  10. Wendy

Don’t forget to check your clearance sections. I was in for a quick trip today and noticed Herbal Essences hydrolicious condition $2.24 (there is a $1/2 coupon out there) and Tampax pearl for $1.07 (there are $1/1 coupons). Looking forward to heading back out tomorrow!

  11. Monique

There is also a $1/1 off any Ocean Nasal Spray coupon in the Allergy Coupon book

  12. Heidi

I have a question about the spend 20.00 get a 10.00 UP on select Colgate, Irish Spring and Softsoap products, through 5/1……..Does anybody know when this offer started? I remember doing an offer like this awhile back, maybe in March. I dont want to do this one, if I already did it. So does anybody know when this offer began? Thanks so much.

    • Rachel

I also had this question, but under Collin’s post it says (limit 4 offers) so I am assuming we can do it again.

Would I be correct in my thinking that the $20 would be BEFORE any coupons? I want to buy 3 of the Kids/Adult Power toothbrushes for 6.99. This would put me at 20.97 and print the $10 Up correct?

The deal would look like this:
3 Kids or Adult Power Toothbrushes at 6.99 = 20.97
      Use 3 2/1 coupons from the 4/20 P&G
      Pay 14.97
      Get back 3 $3UP Rewards
      Get back 1 $10Up Reward
      $4 Moneymaker??

If someone could verify that before I head out and try it tomorrow I would be really grateful! I enjoy being confident at the register and that is exactly what this website helps me to be. Thank you so much Collin!!

        • janiceg531

Thanks for the website link. I checked it out and apparently the Wellness discount is coming off the toothbrushes so you may have to purchase 4 to reach $20.

        • Rachel

          Thanks for the website!!

      • lovedeals

I am not sure about this but why not to try with one toothbrush and it will show up end of the receipt.
Did someone tried in southern Cali yet. Please let us know what to do.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

As far as I know, this $10 +Up Reward runs from 4/4/12-5/1/12 with a limit of 4 +Up Rewards per Wellness Card.

      • Laura

So Rachel, did the deal work? Have you tried it yet? Just curious! =]

        • lovedeals

Colgate deal worked for me got the $10 as well as other rewards. so it’s nice moneymaker for us. for some reason rewards printing today expiring on 5/5/12. so be careful with that.

          • Sharon

I noticed the early expiration dates as well and wondered why they weren’t even giving us a week. I bought the crest toothpaste and it expires 5/4 and the others on 5/5. At least the $10 colgate doesn’t expire until 5/16 but the others are a bit unreasonable.

            • Nichole Thibodeau

on rite aid facebook they said they are misprints and thet they will still work until the normal exp date

  13. Carol_R

Thanks so much Collin for the awesome match-ups.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome, Carol! 😀

  14. Lyndsay Cupp

I haven’t shopped much at Rite Aid…for the lysol deal, the video values coupon says its a manufacturer coupon, but I can combine it with $1/2 mq from the 4/15 SS? TIA!

    Lysol Wipes 28-35 ct. 2/$5
Use the $1/2 coupon from the 4/15 SS
Use the $1.50/2 coupon from the April Video Values
    Final Cost $1.25 each!

  15. Hillary Eddy

in the middle of trying to get the lysol april video value, the website switched to the may video values. totally stinks since it isn’t even may yet… 🙁

    • AG

Drugstore months are never calendar months. CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens all follow that same pattern. 🙂

  16. ela

there is a 1 off coupon for allergy buster in the Riteaid allergy book

  17. Nicki

This is probably a silly question, but on the Sucretes coupon I noticed that the serial numbers are the same even when I close the pdf and reopen it. Does this mean there is no limit on how many I can print? TIA

    • Wendi

You are correct, there is no limit. However, I would use common sense and “couponing etiquette” and only print as many as you would actually use 🙂 HTH!

      • Nicki

Awesome, thanks! I am lucky enough to have two very close Rite Aids so I can split deals like these up and not wipe the shelves (nothing worse than that!)

  18. Misty

Where do I find the “in ad” coupon? At the store?

    • Misty

I know it says in the Rite Aid shopping guide that these are avail in the weekly ad- But are these weekly ads in the store or in the newspaper? I have yet to see coupons in my newspaper weekly ad. Thanks 🙂

      • lovedeals

you will find ad in store. they put a bunch of ads at entrance or you can ask cashier and they will give you one.

        • Misty

          Thanks!

  19. Meg

    Hi guys,

I went to riteaid to get the two single serve oreo deal. It was 2/$1 and I had the video values coupon for $1/2. When I went to check out, the cashier who I am always nice to said it couldn’t be used on this size. I asked politely if she could check for me and she walked to a door and I don’t think she asked and she came back and said Yeah, this won’t work.

Am I wrong or do I have a cashier who seriously dislikes me? What do you do in that situation? Thank you!

    • KN

I bought 4 of those oreos and used one VV from last month and one from this month. One scanned fine, the other beeped “no matching item”. I forgot to ask the cashier which one beeped. She said there was no size restriction stated on the coupon, so she pushed it through.

      • Meg

Okay, cool. Thanks so much! Maybe, I will try again later 🙂

    • MissJay

It might help if instead of asking her to check, to ask if you could (please) speak to the manager. That way she can’t ‘fake ask’. 😀

      • Meg

Thank you MissJay, I’ll do that. She has done this three times and I leave and then come back and I really think she dislikes me and it is a power struggle for her. I just want to coupon for myself and my family, I’m not trying to stick it to her at all. I’ll definitely ask for the manager next time, nicely of course 🙂

        • Kris Snyder

I recently switched my business to a Rite Aid that is farther away but SO much friendlier .

          • Brenda

I did the same thing. I will happily drive right past the closest one because they are just plain rude. It’s worth the extra mile to shop at a super friendly and helpful RiteAid!

    • Kalie

I just tried to do the Oreo deal as well. She said they wouldn’t take the coupon even though it says “any size” on the coupon because they are only regular $.79 anyway. I didn’t think that was right and this is the second time the same cashier has been kind of rude.

  20. Melissa

Hi everyone, Take note of the expiration date on your up rewards when shpping this week. I went to Rite Aid this morning and all my up rewards expire on 5/5. That means we can’t roll the rewards to next week’s sale which starts on 5/6. This makes it very hard to save! If they keep it this way I won’t be shopping at Rite Aid anymore..

    • Renee

Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t even notice! If this is going to be the norm, I’ll be skipping rite aid too!!

    • darlene

Thanks!! I didn’t even look at it till I saw your post. Most time they are good for 2-3 weeks. Mine says good 4/27-5/5 . That doesn’t make any sense because I just got it today. Was it on all or just some? I only have the one from the sucrets. I plan my list ,do seperate orders and usually use them all the same day I get them .

      • Jill

I got two, and they both expire on 5/5. Thanks for the heads up Melissa!

    • Nichole Thibodeau

on rite aid facebook page they said these dates are misprints and they will still work through the norm exp date which they have posted on there

  21. lovedeals

    I bought 4 toothbrush and I got 4 $3 &1 $10 reward.

  22. genie

The register rewards I received today expire 5/5/12. Is it normal for them to expire so soon? Thanks for all you help.

    • Brenda

      genie,
No, it’s not normal. I noticed the date, too! I’m hoping it’s just a computer glitch, because I don’t think it’s reasonable at all!
RiteAid is usually pretty good at responding to these type of situations, so we will have to wait and see what happens.

      • Margie

        It is a computer glitch.

        • Tricia

So should we call corporate? what should we do? I have 9 dollars that I don’t want to spend and would like to save if I could . .

          • Brenda

            Tricia,
RiteAid has said that the short expiration dates was an error. If you don’t want to use them this week, I would call corporate and ask them to send you new ones with the correct dates on them. The glitch has been fixed and the UpR’s that I received yesterday (Monday) have the correct expiration dates on them.

  23. Donna Mc.

Zyrtec 45 ct. or Liquid Gels 40 ct. $26.99
Use the $7/1 coupon from the 4/29 RP
    Final Cost $19.99!

    Definitely regional… I didn’t get this coupon!

  24. Viv

Thanks Collin for the matchups! I did the Revlon cosmetics deal and paid only 62 cents each! The Revlon coupon did beep but my wonderful cashier pushed it thru because it said any cosmetics. I noticed some Calgon sprays were 75% off. I got 1 glade spray and the register took $1 off with no beeps. Got 2 skinny cow candy boxes for .99 each after coupons and 2 single serve Oreos for free! Slow week for me but thats not so bad. I’m also concerned with how soon the expiration date was on my new Ups. It expires on 5/5.. which means I have to scour on the ad to find stuff so I can get rid of it before it expires…. some people on the other blogs are complaining too! So take a look at your ups to see how long you have til it expires.

    • grace

      it is a computer glitch

  25. Adrienne B.

    couldn’t find the ROC product….cheapest I saw was $15.99 🙁

    • Jasmine

Me either and I really wanted to try those pads.

    • Cindy

My Rite Aid doesn’t carry the ROC disks either, but I did purchase them today at CVS. At my CVS store they were $10.49 but CVS had them $4 off, so $6.49 less the $3 coupon it was $3.49 final cost. I LOVE this product and it is well worth $3.49!

  26. tinoy

fyi I think nonni biscotti have coupon on the facebook for b1g1 make it only .75 ea

  27. Cindy

I took advantage of the L’Oreal Skincare 25% off. I purchased $30 in product and received TWO $10 +UP Rewards! There is the spend $30 receive $10 +UP in this weeks AD PLUS a spend $25 get $10 +UP that expires 5/01/12. In addition there were $2 peelies on the product. After coupons I spent $27 and got back $20. AWESOME!

    • lovedeals

Can you tell me what products you bought and when will your reward expire? Because today I did the colgate deal and all the advertised reward expires on May 5th.
      Thanks

  28. SarahB

Hi! Did anyone find the ROC resurfacing discs at Rite Aid? I went to two and they didn’t carry these.

  29. Ash

Does anyone know how to tell if they have reached their limit on their UP rewards, besides on the receipt? I was thinking of doing the Colgate deal this week, but since it was a monthly deal, I can’t remember if I have already reached my maximum up rewards. I know the limit was 4, but don’t have any of my receipts that tell. I thought maybe I could look it up on rite aid website but didn’t find it. Thought maybe a Hip2saver might know. TIA!

    • sue

I tried this deal and it did not work or did it track. This happen last week to with a monthly deal certains areas it was printing others it wasnt.

    • melanie

It worked for me today, I did the monthly deal on 3 different cards and each one printed the $10 up fine. I bought 12 soft soap refills, 3 power toothbrushes, 7 Colgate pro relief, retail $86 and RA paid me $17 mm to take it!! I couldn’t pass up the soft soap refills, we are a hand washing fanatic family. My power brushes also rang up $6.15 instead of $6.99, (maybe gold price?) and I had 4 $1 colgate coupons on bottom of my previous RA receipts that I stacked with the colgate $1 MQ and (3) $2 power brush coupons. Even if you don’t have coupons you will still make a profit or break even for those thinking about this deal, but tomorrow is the last day to get the extra monthly $10 up so don’t wait!!

  30. Ashley

Im new to Rite Aid, but I’m guessing most of their deals greatly vary by region. In my region(I live in Alabama) the sales ads are only like 8 pages at most, and never include any of these great deals listed on here or any other blog. No Oreo deal here, no Sucretes deal, and the Mike & Ike were $1.49 per box. Not that I need candy, but I’m still bummed 🙁 I just find it odd. I have never had a problem with sales differing at CVS, but always find barely anything on sale at my local Rite Aide.

    • Elise

Did you check the ads in the store? Maybe your store just doesn’t put the sale tags up. I find that if I go on a Sat. they have taken down all the past weeks sale tags to get ready for the next week, but the stuff is still on sale that is in the ad.

  31. Lori Reagan

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet, but Zyrtec is one of the products that qualify for the allergy rewards (the before coupon price). After registering for it, spend $75, get $20 coupon. It takes a couple of days, but looks like Value Video coupon and is good for a month. Make sure you register first online and there is a max of 3 per year.

  32. Ann

FYI-I called the 1-800 number for rite aid and they said it was a computer glitch that the ups expire 5/5/12. They said they are good until 5/12/12 and they will honor them until then.

  33. nikki

i did the colgate deal today and it totally worked! also, they must have fixed the +up reward date issue, all of mine printed today as good until 5/16-5/20-ish. i did have a small issue, the larger battery-operated toothbrushes did not track towards the $20 colgate, but the smaller ones and children’s ones worked perfectly. good week to roll some rewards and get some free candy!

  34. Suzy

I am NOT seeing the Airwick coupon. Guess it is not April in Video Values World. Hello, it is still April here on Earth!!! Thanks again, Rite Aid. Should have printed this earlier I guess. :/

  35. Tana

Question- I watched all my April videos but only printed what I needed. Now I can’t access them. Should I have printed them earlier? I thought they stayed in my account until I wanted to print them. 🙁

  36. chris

Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief Toothpaste 4 oz. $4.99
Use the $1/1 coupon from the 4/15 SS
    Pay $3.99
    Get a $2.50 +Up Reward (limit 4 offers)
    Final Cost $1.49!*
    * Through 5/1/12, spend $20 on select Colgate, Irish Spring and Softsoap products and Get a $10 +Up Reward

The $1o +up reward, tomorrow is the last day? (5/1/2012) or today?

  37. Kristen

I went to rite aid tonight and I tried to use a $1.50/2 mars seasonal candy coupon and they wouldn’t take it cuz the candy was on sale. Then they wouldn’t use an air wick coupon because it wouldn’t scan (and it was a rite aid coupon)! Am I the only one who thinks this isn’t right? And now I got 20 coupons and no where else still has Easter candy.

    • Nicki

Kristen, they may be out now but if you have a Walmart try there. I actually ordered 20 of these coupons from eBay and then went to Walmart last week and made $26 bucks! You want to look for easter eggs that have miniature Twix, Snickers M&M’s or Starburst jelly beans. These are Mars products and the DO count as Mars seasonal products which is all that the q says. They were .10 each when I went last week (90% off) and Walmart does pay overage so everything over that was money towards my total (or cash back if you like….just make sure you take the coupon policy in case you run into any issue. I did have to pull it out because my cashier was trying to tell me that it was a waster to use the coupon on little .10 eggs lol! HTH (also, take your Rite Aid policy with you next time, because they do adjust down coupons to match the correct total). I have been having SO much trouble with the VV coupons lately, my cashier even said to me today that when 2/3 of mine scanned it was a “small miracle” and that those were the first she had seen scan properly in a couple of weeks.

      • Kristen

Thanks! I’ll check next time. I love how wal Mart does their coupons. Just keeps scanning! 🙂

  38. Nicki

I had some random Revlon coupons lying around and a $1/1 beauty tool that was expiring today so I threw together this deal that ended up being pretty awesome if any of you are in that boat and have the Revlon PhotoReady mascara Video Values coupon from May you might be able to throw this together, (though I don’t think the coupons.com PhotoReady coupon is available anymore).

One Revlon PhotoReady mascara and one designer nail file

    Mascara – Regular price: $8.99 Nail File – Regular price $2.45, $1.22 after Revlon B1G1 50% off sale, plus a $4 when you spend $10 +up reward

I used (1) $2/1 Any PhotoReady cosmetic manufacturers coupon found here, (1) $2/1 PhotoReady 3D Mascara from the May Video Values and (1) $1/1 Revlon beauty tool catalina

    $8.99- $2/1 manufacture coupon – $2/1 video values coupon = $4.99, plus $1.22 – $1/1 coupon = $0.22 Total for both products, $5.21 – $4 +up for spending $10 = only $1.21!

  39. j

My rite aid had the large size pillow pets for $4.49 and the small ones for $3 something. Also, I got 19 ups doing the Colgate deal, 3 toothbrushes, and they don’t expire til the 19th.

  40. Katie

Does anyone know anything about the “FREE Beauty Gift Set”? Rite Aid’s ad says “Buy $50 worth of select P&G products and get a FREE Beauty Gift Set up to a $30 value AND a $10 mail-in rebate found in the 4/29 PG.” I can’t find any info about if this gift set is from Rite Aid or P&G. And is it just for this week? Or the month of May? Thanks!

    • Thelma

I was wondering about this too…on the bottom of my receipt it says “you have earned a free olympic gift set” but doesn’t say how to get it, or what it is…it just says 1 purchase of at least $12.99 of eligible product mentioned…then it says see receipt for full details, but I read through my receipt several times and couldn’t find anything about it anywhere…does anyone know what this means??

      • Nicki

I’m not sure exactly how the promotion works, but these sets were on the shelves at my Rite Aid this week priced at $12.99. I would assume you would just ring it up and your wellness+ card would reduce the price to zero. My RA had them right when you walked in on the shelf where they often put featured products. The entire display was the eligible P&G items and the gift sets. HTH

        • Thelma

Thank you…I’m going shopping there tomorrow, hopefully I will see them…

          • Katie

Thelma, if you go back and get the gift set, would you please share what’s in it? I’m wondering if it’s worth the effort. I also emailed Rite Aid to ask for details, so I will post a comment when I hear back from them!

            • Katie

I just got an email back from Rite Aid! Here’s what they said: Katie, Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Customers that purchase $50 in select P&G products featured in the 4/29 circular will receive a FREE beauty gift set (up to $30 value). In order for customers to receive the FREE gift set, a coupon will print on the register receipt when the customer reaches the $50 purchase requirement. The coupon may be redeemed immediately. The gift set is intended to be redeemed with the customers next purchase (although can be redeemed the same day) via a coupon on the bottom of their register receipt. – Carrie, Customer Support
