Twice: FREE $10 Credit = Secondhand Name-Brand Clothing as Low as Only $1 Shipped

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

UPDATE (As of 5/4) – It looks like you can now only use the $10 credit on $25 orders 🙁

Wow!  Currently, LikeTwice.com, a new website that offers high-quality, name-brand, affordable secondhand clothes, is offering up a FREE $10 credit whenever you sign up for a new account through this link.  Even sweeter, there are quite a few items priced around $6-$7 each AND you can even apply the $10 credit towards the $5 shipping charges!  That means for as low as $1 out of pocket, you can snag a piece of clothing shipped to your door!

I was browsing around and noticed that Twice carries many name-brand clothing from popular stores, like GAP, Ann Taylor, Express, Banana Republic, American Eagle, and more at 70-90% off the retail price!  However, please keep in mind that most of the clothing items are very limited in sizes and carry only one size for each item.

If you don’t spot an item that you like at this time, you may want to sign up now and then check back often to see if they offer a new item that you’d want.  Also, if you have a few gently used clothes and are looking to make a little extra money, you may be interested in selling your clothing to Twice!  They even pay for shipping and will pay you on the spot if they choose too accept your clothing (just click on the “Sell” tab for more details)!

Has anyone bought from here before? Just curious, I found a lot of cute clothes, but always a little weary from buying from a new online company.

  2. Alea

If anyone wants to sign under my link – it would be greatly appreciated – thank you!

While I love the idea behind the site and am finding lots of cute clothes I am noticing that they are really marking up the original retail price of some items. I saw one shirt that I actually own and they say it is a $45 shirt when I know it was originally around $30. I still might purchase from there but I am definitely keeping in mind that some of the deals are not as good as they seem.

    • midget

I agree. You can get a lot of this stuff for far less on ebay. And some of the items are priced at half the “original retail” price??? Seems like a premium for used garments, nice though they may be.

  4. Maria Day

anyone know how to redeem this credit. It gives me an email address what am suppose to do or say HELP!

  5. rach

Does it say when it expires or how long invites are good for? It wont let me put in an invite right now, and i’m sure theyre going to sell out.

  6. Shanon

every page I try to click on says “page not found.” I wonder why?

  7. Corinne

I had my credit card info and everything in and tried to process my oreder and couldnt. I chatted with a rep and she said I wasnt charged and best bet was to try back tomorrow :(. She also said their server issue was due to a blog mentioning them lol!

Is it just me, or is it plain rude for people to ask to sign up under their link when Collin gave us this info and years of tips on how to save money?
Thanks for all you do Collin.

    • Karen G

I was thinking the very same thing…

    • Amber R.

I agree, Collin deserves the credit for finding the deal as well as all the other deals on this site that help us all out. Give back a lil.

      • jill

In the defense of those you call rude, I think attention should be brought to the contributors who notify Collin of some of these deals. Have you noticed when you read the bottom of some of the deals it will say “Thanks to xxxx” I know because I’ve personally notified her of several, my referral links weren’t used. I just had a simple thanks from Collin and not one other person.

This should be a community where we can all come together and share a common interest, not bully & insult others because they do something you wouldn’t. Everyday I appreciate all the great deals posted by Collin & the way she has changed my savings.

        • migalie13@yahoo.com

Jill- I agree with you. What ever happen to the old saying, “if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all.” People are quick to write mean comments.

        • Wen in TX

It wasn’t intended to be mean.
I’m sorry you feel slighted for offering tips and not getting anything for it.
My point is that she runs a great website that must take countless hours of collaboration on many people’s parts to make it happen. Best of all, it is free. I would like to keep her going and if this is how it happens, so be it.

I found it to be odd that people would post their own referral link on the same blog they got it from. It’s biting the hand that feeds you, so to speak.

          • tone

It was taken as a rude comment because you made it that way. It is biting the head if Collin did this all on her own….she has many readers who give her those deals. Do you know she tells people to post their referrals? Just think of all sides before you speak. No hard feelings

    • abbey

No matter how you try to spin it, it is inappropriate to snag referrals from the person who provided the info on their own website.
You’re all getting in a tizzy because the truth hurts when you get called out on it.

  12. Mama Bear

It tells me Page not found even though I can see the $10 credit at the top. I am confused LOL

    • Tracy

      Same here 🙁

      • DMC

Yeah… Page Not Found. Oh well.

  13. Amber R.

As Collin stated, their site is getting hit pretty hard right now hence the “Page Not Found”. Just keep trying or just try back later, or maybe even tomorrow.

  14. Lauren

    Hey everyone!

I’m one of the head customer service reps at Twice. We’ve temporarily disabled our website because the sudden mass of traffic we received from multiple blogs (including Hip2Save) has made our server unexpectedly crash. Our team of engineers is currently working on it, and Twice should be back up and running tomorrow (if not sooner). We’ve never had this kind of problem with our servers before, so thank you for being patient with us!

If you haven’t received credit when you signed up from a referral link, it’s because of the problems we’re having with our server and we apologize. Also, the credit you receive doesn’t expire, so just hold tight and we’ll resume everything as normal as soon as we’re able.

Thank you for understanding and for your interest in our website! :]

    Cheers,

    – Lauren

The site is back up. If its not offensive (please take this down collin if so) anyone can use my link if they’d like. Never asked before… thanks 🙂

So, second hand clothes meaning used, I’m guessing? This stuff is priced wayyy too high for used clothing when you can easily go to a thrift store if that’s what you’re looking for. I’ve never been one to buy clothes that others have used, anyway.

  17. Rachel

I’m on the site now, trying to checkout, but it keeps giving me an error… boo! =(

  18. megan e

Has anyone ever sold anything to Twice? I’m thinking of trying it out but wasn’t sure how much they actually wanted to purchase from you.

  19. Mandy B

Unrelated – I have a $20 Tiny Prints code I’m not going to use. It expires tonight. Please comment if you use it, so others won’t waste their time: GFT5383X4X

  20. Lorry

Site was up….found a cute dress for my daughters wedding in June….now site is down again. I have the dress in my cart, but when you have something in your cart you’re only given 59 minutes to buy it….hope it’s up soon!!

  21. Mindy

Thanks for the promo code Mandy! 🙂

    • Mandy B

      No problem, Mindy!

Ok so I’ve spent 7 hours on the site sitting and waiting for it to come up. I finally was able to get to the end where I entered in payment, shipping etc and I get a box pop up that says you have to order $25 in order to use your $10 credit! What gives?? Not a happy person right now!!

    • Mo

Completely agree!!!! I’ve been eyeing several items every time I could get the site to actually work and now that it finally is they are imposing the $25 order amount. Lost a sale right here! They have nice stuff but the prices are a little high for USED items the credit is what made it worth it.

      • Lorry

Agreed! Lost my sale and all the others that I told about it! I went on eBay and found a dress that was almost exactly what they have, New without tags and paid $7 and that’s with free shipping!

        • sherri

Another lost sale for them right here….

          • Mandy B

            Me too. Another lost sale…

            • Cara

Something tells me they don’t mind that they’ve lost these sales, if all people were going to spend out of pocket was a dollar or two.

              • Mama Bear

It is actually working now but you have to spend $25 to get the $10 off 🙁 **PLUS SHIPPING! Boo!

            • Mo

True but not a good way for a new business to gain customers. I have a ton of old clothes that I would love to sell and thought about using this site. However I don’t like when companies offer promos and then when too many people take advantage they change the rules mid-game. Yes they are out to make money but good customer service goes far with me and I stay away from sites the pull these kind of moves.

  25. Melissa Ricketts Creech

I tried to do this, but it says credit can only be applied to orders of $25 or more. 🙁

  26. Mandy B

Tried to process my order all night with error after error, now the credit can only be used on purchases $25 and up. Forget it!

  27. Jen

Signed up yesterday, and got the $10 credit, but the site was down probably from so much traffic. I went on this morning, bought two cute tops and used the $10 credit no problem. I love the site ~ it is well designed, and they include measurements for each item so that you don’t have to guess on the fit just by the size. Great site, I will definitely shop again!

  28. Molly

I think the reason the site was down yesterday, was to change the requirements of the promo code to a minimum of $25 purchase.

    • Mandy B

I was thinking the same exact thing. They made it so you couldn’t check out until they changed the credit requirements.

  29. Mandy B

To me, it’s just irritating. They got all kinds of free publicity due to the $10 credits, and tons of new customers signed up only to find out the policy suddenly changed when the website finally is functional. Even if people were only spending a couple of dollars on their first purchase, there still could have been repeat business. I actually like the store, and the items they have, although I think the pricing seems a little high on some things. If the credit policy hadn’t changed, I def. would have purchased something and likely come back too.

    • Lorry

I completely agree! I, like many would of been a return customer! I even searched their site to see if maybe I missed where they had put that you had to spend $25 to use your credit, even re-read the email but nothing!

  30. demeteraurion

That is not right what they did, last night I could have got a t-shirt for $2 and now they want me to spend $25! I call that bait and switch. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost a lot of business now. I certainly will be telling everyone i know that they have shady business practices.

  31. Van

This morning I am trying to buy with my credit, but now it says I have to buy $25.00 more to use the credit. Yesterday I tried to get in couple of times but the site didn’t let me buy it … If you don’t mind please use my link https://www.liketwice.com/30yNI. I’d love to try the clothes from this site without spending too much. Thank you.

  32. Mandy B

FYI, they are including shipping in the $25 minimum purchase. So if you put something in your cart for $20 (+$5 shipping), you can use your $10 credit. So you’d pay $15 for a $20 item. It’s not the same as paying $2, but not quite as bad as I thought I guess.

The site was down so much last week so I thought I would try again today. I’m glad I read all these comments before wasting my time. I’m not ordering because the requirements changed to a minimum $25 order. They lost my business for sure and I agree, they took their site down last week to do a bait and switch after many people signed up with them.

  35. Ashley57

I just ordered something through this site. I posted my link awhile ago and another Hip2Saver used it (thanks so much!) so I had a $20 credit. I bought two shirts for my trip to Italy, and I am soo excited to get them! $5 OOP. Also, I originally used Collin’s link, so she has another $10 coming her way!

  36. K

good site, their prices are higher than a thrift store or ebay but you pay more because they let you return things and you can browse from your home, not spend hours going through smelly clothing at a thrift store where you *might* score something.
