Wonder how fatty the meat is.

    • E

I agree. It would be nice to know the size/weight of the patties, the fat content, and details about the meat such as grass or corn fed, organic or conventional, etc. Is it worth running to WF for burgers that may be little better than grocery store beef?

      • E

I mean no offense to Collin, of course. I simply would love to know a little more than what is provided on the Whole Foods Blog. 🙂

It tells you above!! No antibiotics, no hormones & no preservatives….it is organic, Whole Foods only sales natural or organic food.

So, looks like 80% lean or better and 1/4 lb size patties. The total per pound would be $4.00. Seems a little pricey to me for 80% lean ground beef. However, I am relatively sure the beef at Whole Foods is better than what I can get at my local grocery store.

Would you guys get this deal?

    • gemini345

I would, because it’s a good deal for the quality of beef it is….you very seldom find a deal like this on organic beef.

      • Nancy

It’s not organic. However, it’s probably the safest ground beef on the planet. I don’t buy meat from anywhere else.

I’ve also noticed that the pre-formed patties tend to be more expensive than beef that comes in the package. I hate forming my own patties so this deal is worth it.

I wish these were the turkey burgers. I just might get them anyway for my next bbq

I called my store and was told it’s 85% lean and 1/4 lb. patties. They were even willing to hold 20lbs. for me at the meat counter. Awesome customer service!

The closest one to me is 79 miles away 🙁

There’s that little issue “pink slime”.
If I ate any meat products that would be a major concern for me…
