Everybody who ordered, CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS ONLINE. I was charged the FULL amount, the $5 credit was applied when I submitted my order but does not reflect the amount I was billed. Glyde does NOT have a 1-800 number (red flag right there I guess), but they have an email of service@glyde.com So, please please please check your accounts and cancel your transaction (although it posted fast, so I don’t know if it would be removed from the banking account as easily) or email them right away.
Thanks for making us aware of this… is your charge showing up as pending or has it completely gone through? I just checked my bank account and no charges are currently showing up.
It is still showing as pending. I’ve emailed Glyde’s customer service (which gives an automated response of 24 hrs), but, generally the pending amount is the amount that posts (I’ve never seen it be different), and if an amount shows as pending on my account it’s usually posted within the next 12 hours. So I suppose I will find out soon enough. But yeah, I’m not so happy about it, I’m glad yours shows fine. Also, have you checked your transaction history at Glyde? Mine shows as ‘no transaction history’, which obviously is not the case if I’m being charged haha
I’ve had places put amounts pending before and then change the amounts…we will see though.
yeah gas stations and restaurants do it all the time to make sure you have enough to cover everything.
I cancelled my order after it said I was going to be charged the full amount and then emailed them to make sure it was cancelled. They answered me back in less than 2 hours and confirmed it was cancelled but they also told me this…” Also, you may see a charge in a pending or ‘pre-auth’ state on your credit card statement for this purchase. Because this transaction was canceled, this charge will at some point be removed by your credit card company. The time period for removal can vary, so I recommend contacting your credit card company about their pending charges policy.” So It may be a ‘pre-auth’ and will probably come back off….so far I do not have any pending charges on my debit card.

I got my “Polar Express” today!!! Excellent condition (awesome for 16 cents) and can’t wait to add this to my yearly Christmas movie tradition with my son 🙂 The other movie I got that was free has not arrived yet but on my account it says that the seller has received the shipping kit and I have not received any cancellation emails so it looks like that one may come too. I guess for those who were cancelled it must depend on the seller if they want to accept the coupon code or not….not sure but sorry for those who were cancelled :/
