Under the Dr. Scholl’s deal it says a coupon found in the 5/6 SS. What is SS? Where do I find the coupon?
SS means smartsource which is the name of the coupon insert that comes in the newspaper, so in this case it means that the coupon can be found in the smartsource coupon insert that came in the sunday newspaper on may 6

I don’t know if it is still available, but I have a Target coupon for $3 off 10 Smart Ones (ex. 6/7) that makes it an even better deal!
The smartblend cat food only weighs 7lbs and the target coupon says over 11lbs so they wouldnt accept it 🙁
The May “All You” has a Kikoman mystery coupon? (I’m a bit behind in my couponing due to wedding frenzy, lol) I really hope this is a random thing as I really don’t like mystery coupons! If anything, it may discourage rather than encourage shoppers. Well, those like me who are new to a product and not sure if its worth it!

I just want to say thank you for all of your hard work. I had to pause from looking at another blog (because, unfortunately, you do not cover my local grocery store) and tell you how much I appreciated your blog. I’m looking at this other coupon blog and the person that writes it does not check the coupons to make sure they are still available. There are coupons listed that haven’t been available for some time, yet they’re posted on the blog. That never happens at Hip2Save. You work so hard to put up deals with coupons that are actually still available. The worst part is if someone posts that they’re no longer available, she doesn’t remove them from the blog, she leaves them there like they were available and she put all this hard work into it. Thank you so much for all of your hard work! It saves me time from clicking on a bunch of links that haven’t been available for some time!

I use this website at lot and like the format, but my favorite grocery store — Bi-Lo — isn’t included. I find a ton of money savers there, but am sure that if an expert couponer took a look they’d see all kinds of things I miss.

Is the red font dedicated to CVS and walgreens? I really like how you list out deals in red.. I can blindly follow them.. dont have a lot of time here.. Appreciate the hard work.

On the Jello deal, wouldn’t you need to buy 4 in order to get one free. Then it would be

Less one free -2.50
Less 4 mf coupons -$4.40
Total= $3.10 for all 4
Most target’s won’t let you use a coupon on the free item 🙂
Or happens what happens to me: the cashier told me I could so I gave her Qs for the free items. They seemed to scan just fine, but when I checked my receipt the system had adjusted the value of my other coupons (some B1G1) to compensate for the “extra” ones 🙁
What does “RP” stand for?
RP stands for Redplum. It means the coupon was in the Redplum insert in the Sunday paper. Hope that helps! 🙂
I wish you could highlight the best deals in Red for Target too… I SO appreciate that feature with CVS and the other drugstores – I barely ever go to Target, so I just want to be able to scan down the list and see if there’s anything I should be looking for when I run in. But I’m not trying to complain… because I really do LOVE your site… just a little “wish” for the wish list. THANKS!!!
These are her “favorite deals”, not a full list, so if they are listed, they’d be in red if she did a full list. She refers you to Totally Target for a full list. HTH!
Its very easy to weed out the deals you aren’t interested in, just go to the very top of the post and click the printer icon and a new page opens. as you roll over the words, it will turn orange and to the right is an “X”, just click that and it will remove whatever text you don’t want. It might take a few more minutes, but this way, you can create your own customized shopping list since all the deals listed -are- good deals!
For the Dr. Scholl’s deal– there is a $8.84 arch support gel inserts that are also part of the deal and if you use another $2/1 target coupon you pay only $8.70. That’s what I paid using 2x $3/1 gel insert coupons and 2x $2/1 target dr. Scholl’s coupons plus my target debit card that gave me 5%. So you are getting 2 pairs for About $4.35 ea

I used 4x $1.10 coupons and then the B3G1 coupon. I paid $3.10 for 4 packs, which is cheaper than what 1 pack usually costs!

Is anyone else having issues printing Target coupons? Every time I try to print, it will print some of my coupons (of course nto that ones I REALLY want) and then it will give me an internal server error, then when I go back to the website and try again, once I click on the coupons icon I get the same error. super frustrating, and I’ve tried from two different computers! ugh!
At my Target store, I purchased 2 bags of the Purina cat food for $10.99 each. They actually gave me back 2 $5 target gift cards back instead of just 1!!! So, I paid $15.88 for 2 large bags and got back $10!!!!! So, works out to be $2.94 for each 16 lb. bag!! I tested it again, and sure enough, it worked again, again, and again (our local shelter is gonna love me this week). I am not sure if it is working this way for all Targets or just my location, but definately worth checking out.
