CVS: Store Brand Items on Clearance Up to 75% Off (Snag Inexpensive Diapers + More!)

UPDATE – Be sure to scan your card at the Magic Coupon Machine as quite a few of you have received $3 off $10 CVS brand item coupon that will make for an even sweeter deal! 🙂

Wow! I just wanted to give all you CVS shoppers a heads up that CVS appears to be marking down their CVS store brand items up to 75% off! A few items to note are the CVS brand diapers, diaper cream, baby powder, and other baby products – up to 75% off! Reader Jacinda found the 42ct packs of diapers on clearance 75% off for only $2.22 at her store; however they were only 50% off for $4.44 at my sidekick Mary’s store (still a good price!).

Be sure to price check the items if they’re not marked on clearance as they may end up being on sale. If you are not brand loyal, this seems like e a great way to snag inexpensive personal care, household, and baby items on the cheap (plus, no coupons needed!). Be sure to come back and let us know what clearance goodies you find at your store!

(Thanks, Homemaker Hand Guide!)

When I went in on Saturday, the magic coupon machine gave me a coupon for $3 off a $10 CVS brand item purchase!

  2. Kris

Here is what I was able to get:

    Huggies 25ct Jean diapers-$5.99 on sale ($2 CVS & $2 Huggies coupons) so only $1.99 (size 4)

    CVS 50ct diapers-$2.22 (size 1)

    CVS 72ct diapers-$4.07 (size 3)

    CVS 36ct diapers-$2.22 (size 3)

    Pedialite Frozen pops-$1.49

$11.99 for 183 diapers and the Pedialite. Minus all my ECB it was $1.86.

    • Anna

where did you find the CVS huggies coupon??

      • Kris

It was mailed to my home from them, not a printable.

        • Tina

a $3 huggies cp was the in the last cvs beauty magazine that u buy for .99 cents I used 2 of those and got 2 pkgs of the size 4 jean huggies for $6.00

      • Malya

At my CVS yesterday Huggies jeans diapers rang up 2.99!! With the $2 coupon I left the store one happy mama!

    • Shannon

Huggies jeans jumbo packs are marked down to $3.12 at my store. $0.12 after $3/1 RIB MQ!

      • debra

$2.99 at mine, 4 packs for free. Another CVS about 4 miles away was only $5.99. Boo. Trying 2 more today. Have 6 q’s left. Fingers crossed.

    • steph

watch the signs because the newer the cvs is the less they mark things down my mom works for cvs

      • Elizabeth

Though not always the case. The new CVS in my part of town had the higher discount.

      • Stephanie

        Steph,
Thanks!! I went to the two NEW CVSs near me and nothing was on sale…but I finally made it to the OLD CVS and they had them! thx!!!!

  3. carol

At the CVS machine yesterday I got a coupon for $3.00 off any CVS item of $10.00 or more….use that with the clearance items for an even BETTER DEAL!!

  4. mel

Ack.. can’t get out today! Hopefully tomorrow. I notice in the picture the Caldesene is $1.57, there’s a $1 off coupon from an issue of All You (don’t recall the month) so only .57!

    • genie

      May All You page 53.

      • Mimi

Thanks. I went home and got my coupon yesterday and got the powder for .57 today =)

  5. Anna

My store had their 320-360 count wipes on for $4.74 each (50% off)! And, a coupon for $3 off of any $10.00 CVS brand purchase printed out at the coupon machine- so I was able to get 2 packs of these for $6.48! Not too bad for 680 baby wipes!

    • Deb

And if you no longer have babies in your house-these are EXCELLENT as facial wipes and just all purpose hand wipes.
Just don’t keep them in a hot car very long-they will dry out rather quickly.

Did you know you could freeze wipes to extend their shelf-life?

      • Eb

I use the wipes on our pup, cleaning his face and after he comes in from potty time. Lol

        • Maggie

The CVS brand toddler flushable wipes are also way better than the adult Cottonelle wipes IMHO. I use them to refill my grown-up Cottonelle wipe dispenser.

          • Pamela

I have old hardwood floors and use baby wipes to spot clean them as necessary. They are gentle and do not harm the finish.

          • debra

Thanks Maggie. Had never tried them and picked up 2 refill packs. You are so right! They are great!

    • Betsy

The big packs of baby wipes were $2.37 at my store yesterday.

  6. Lynn

I took a trip yesterday to get diapers & my local store had a 25% off sign under the diapers. I was a little disappointed BUT then I scanned them & they were really 50% off. Those sneaky CVS employees. :-/

    • Krystal

more like lazy employees. A good store gets theirs done Sunday or Monday at the latest.

      • Lynn

Maybe you are right. I went back to buy more diapers & found a display to receive a $5 ECB when you purchased $15 of product on the display. So I bought $15 worth of toddler wipes … come to find out that that promotion ended March 30th! LOL. The CVS clerk was kind enough to give me the $5 ECB though. 🙂

      • Missyliz

The markdown events that these diapers/wipes/etc are included in technically start on Tuesdays. The events download into the front store controller on Sundays around noon. Depending on the store, the store may activate the events earlier than Tues, but is under no obligation to do so. Once Tuesday rolls around the events activate and prices change, even if the new tags aren’t up yet.

  7. pamela

I found the Charmin ultra strong and ultra soft 20 big rolls pack for $3.99 (reg. $15.99). Used $0.25/1. Got each pack for $3.74.

  8. Melissa

I went this morning and got 7 packs of Huggies Jeans diapers at 75% off. $2.99 minus $2 little movers q from this past weekend = .99 diapers! I also got 6 packs of cvs brand diapers for $1.99 each! They were only marked 50% at my two stores so check the prices!

  9. brittany

Hey! I have a bunch of $4 off $20 CVS Coupons that are not attached to a card that I can email to people if you need them! I am looking for any baby formula checks, pediasure coupons (good on any, not just for the clear), or pampers gifts to grow points. Feel free to email me toasty311b@aol.com I will be on the computer for the rest of the afternoon, so I can send them right away! thanks!

    • Erin

      Really? I’ve never heard of $X/$X coupons that aren’t tied to a CVS card. . . .

      • brittany

        Yep! Promise : )

        • juvy

          Send u a messages hope u received.thanks

      • dawninfl

They are not issued by CVS, people have “cracked the code” and learned how to generate counterfeit copies of the ones that CVS sends out to people when they sign up for a new card. They will work with any card, but it’s basically like making your own copies of a coupon (but with unique codes). 🙁

        • Teresina Bliss

I have seen people buying those on ebay too… I contacted CVS and they are not happy about it……….
I like to read here because it seems all very polite and legit… please I don’t want to be disappointed….
what is this all about those coupons that are not tided up to a card? are we suggesting we fraud cvs?

    • dawninfl

These coupons are not authorized by CVS, they are the ones that CVS sends out when you sign up for a new card and people have learned how to generate multiples, counterfeit ones. People sell them all day long on Ebay. If you use them you are basically stealing from CVS.

      • mel

Please, don’t use those unauthorized coupons by sellers on flea-bay. All you people are doing is hurting CVS b/c prices go up and ECB deals go down.

        • mel

that should be you’re hurting yourself in the long run (not CVS)

  10. Anna D

anyone try the cvs diapers? I heard they werent very good but I havent trued them myself

    • Michelle

I have loved them for my son. I do use pampers for overnight. I think CVS diapers are better than many other off brands or Luv’s. I would buy CVS over huggies for daytime.

  11. Jen

Anyone have any thoughts on cvs diapers? Never use them before

    • Lara

I have twins and I’ve used the cvs diapers. i think they are great for daytime but not nighttime. I’m a huggies lover myself. the diapers dont break my kids out and i don’t mind just using in the daytime so for that price…Score!!!

    • Ariana

I have two boys tried them on both AND I DONT LOVE CVS DIAPERS.

    • Becky

I use the CVS overnight diapers and really like them. My daughter is skinny and they fit her well (size 4 overnights)- i just can’t seem to spend the money on huggies or pampers when these work well (she leaks out every once in awhile, but it seemed like the same amount as the huggies)— i got them for 50% off last week too! I am going to check CVS today to get regular diapers…

  12. Robin

Have you noticed CVS will mark an item clearance yet it is not marked down?

    • Deana

I have noticed that. It has occurred multiple times at my CVS.

    • Shannon

My store NEVER marks clearance. I spend about 10 minutes at the magic red machine scanning stuff LOL!

  13. Ana

went yesterday only had a 72ct for $8.14 sale reg. price is $16 something, not bad… never tried cvs diapers, but it doesn’t hurt to try….. my idea is if i do not like them i will write to cvs and let them know & see what they can offer me back 😉

  14. Monica

The CVS diapers tend to run small, like a size 6= a Pampers or Huggies size 4.

    • Krista

I do remember they run a little small for the size, but that is really nice if you are right at the end of a size- I have my daughter in size 4, which are clearly too big, but size 3 isn’t working all that great either now, so I picked up size 4 and I hope it runs the right kind of small.

    • Michelle

I have not found the CVS diapers running small in my experience and I have bought throughout baby to toddler stages.

  15. juvy

Went last sunday and got the 54pcs for 6.50.the cvs diaper is alright its kinda like hard version of pampers cruiser.

  16. Caitlin Stuart

The size 1 diapers were the only jumbo packs at 75% off at my store. I also got a $1 off any CVS diapers coupon. So, I bought three packs at $4.44 each (discounted 50%) and used $1 off CVS diapers and $3 off $10 CVS brand coupons and was able to get three packs of size 4 diapers for $9.34! 🙂

  17. ozi

Just went to my store and huggies jean diapers are 2.99 if u have the 2 dollar coupons, they would be 99 cents.

  18. ozi

It was marked only as 25% off but I scanned it at the magic machine n it said 2.99. I guess it really is a magic machine. I bought 3 and used 2 coupons for a total of 5.47. Less than d price of one. Not bad. And I never catch these sales. And I did not clear the store.

  19. Bridget

I just went and got 8 packs of diapers for $27. I also used the $3 off of $10 coupon that printed and FYI the prices displayed were not correct. Great deal! I was waiting for a good diaper deal to come up. I am debating on hitting up all the CVS stores in my area today to stock up for baby #2

    • Katherine

      Please dont clear the shelves….

      • Alicia Phoebe Oviatt

so what if she does shes stocking up for her baby

    • mer

Its not shelf clearing if it is on clearance.

  20. Diana

I have used the CVS diapers many times. I have never had any issues-day or night! Give them a try. Esp for the price, you can’t beat it! I am going to CVS today, Keeping my fingers crossed to find some deals!

  21. Lori

I just got back from CVS. I scored awesome deals! I got 3 packs of CVS Size 4 diapers for $2.22 each + 2 huge packs of wipes for $2.44 each = $11.54 – $3/$10 CVS brand purchase = $8.54 for all or $1.70 each!

    • ozzi

can you discribe the wipes? did not scan the big ones, but the small ones were not on sale at my store

      • Cheryl S.

The one with 5 refill packs was 75% off at my CVS!

        • ozzi

          thanks

  22. marlene

cvs brand shampoo and conditioner just like the pantene prov were 50%off so they came out to 1.50 each bought 7 bottles total of 10.50 minus 3 off 10 cvs brand red box coupon so i paid $7 something for 7 bottles

  23. Brandy

Went to 3 CVS in my area and 2 out of 3 had big clearance (75%) and the other was only 50%. One of the 75%ers was only stickered at 50% though, so definitely scan them!

1,347 diapers in various sizes ranging from 1-5 for about $90. Averages out to less than $.07/diaper. Not bad. Thanks SO much for alerting me on the deal. I have a 4-month old and will definitely use these! Makes me bummed I just spent $30 on Amazon for only 200 diapers!

    • ozzi

u can return them on amazon

    • debra

you can return them to amazon

  24. ashley L

Hugggies Jean diapers were marked only 25% off at my cvs but when I checked out they rang up only $2.99. What a great deal!

  25. ozi

Cvs overnight diapers are also 50% off.

  26. darcy

Huggies slip on Jumbo pack size 3 (reg$22.99) were 75% off at CVS in Chicago. They were marked down to $5.74. Also got 5 munchkin plates 50% off for $2.99 and baby orajel tooth and gum cleanser marked down to $1.74 from $6.99. SCORE!

  27. Amanda

Thank you so much for the heads up! I too was waiting on a great diaper deal to come along to stock up some. My CVS did not have them marked, however I scanned them and they were 75% off. I was able to buy 3 packs of 52 diapers & 3 packs of 320 count wipes for $16.

  28. Erica

I saw that my local CVS had 2 bottles of the Johnson & Johnson Naturals baby shampoo on clearance for $1.57 yesterday, and I remembered seeing a $1.50/1 Naturals baby product coupon (FB printable, which is still available!). I printed two, and realized it says one per person; so I had hubby go through the line also. $.07 CENTS per bottle! (Normally retails for $6.29!) Which is great because I can use it for facial cleanser 🙂 Just thought I’d share and say print the coupons before you go to CVS, just incase your store has it clearanced as well!

    • chickie00

what FB page would that be? tia!

  29. ozi

Aveeno diaper rash cream is 1.57 reg 7.69. I did not see any wipes sale.

    • ozi

Saw the wipes. They are value size 5 resealable. Total of 360 but the scented ones only. The indented n sensitive r more expensive. Reg 10.49 on sale for 2.62

  30. Karina

Thanks for posting about the CVS diaper clearance. I was able to get 15 packs and 1 box of diapers (size 4), 2 johnson & johnson natural baby shampoos and a munchkin toy for $39.62! No coupons at all! I saved over $111!!!!!

  31. Angela D.

I went yesterday for pads, and I happened to pick the Stayfree, Nighttime Ultra ones, and they were on clearance for $1.72/ 28 pack! I went back and bought 4 more packs!

    • Lynn

Thanks for the tip! My CVS only had I package left. I also used the $1/1 Q in the 5/6 SS insert. Can’t beat .74 for pads. 🙂

    • Erin D.

My CVS receipt gave a $2 off 2 pkgs. of Stayfree coupon.

  32. Heidi

Thank you so much Collin! I still had a $20 CVS electronic gift card from a Living Social deal months ago, and I wasn’t sure what I’d do with it as I don’t shop there often. I called ahead and learned they were 50% off, but when they rung up at the register they were 75% off after all! I bought 5 packages of size 2 and 2 boxes of size 3 and paid $0.13 after the $20 gift card, which I originally paid $10 for! Incredible price!! Yay!

  33. ozi

So I went to one store and the wipes rang up 2 dollars plus and the same wipes at another store rang up 7 dollars plus. Is that even possible.

    • Clarissa

I went to one CVS and the Huggies jean diapers were 2.99, went to another store and they were 5.99.

  34. Lynn

I’m wondering if this 75% off deal will last until tomorrow. I bought CVS diapers yesterday at $4.44 each BUT I went back today & they are now marked down to $2.22 each. I’m thinking of going back for the difference. That could mean about $8.88 back in my pocket. 🙂

    • Lynn

Bummer! Just learned no exchanges or returns on clearance items at CVS. Oh well. Still got a good deal on my diapers though.

      • ozi

        You could always still try.

        • Lynn

I did & that’s how I was informed of the clearance no return/exchange policy.

      • Jenn

I JUST returned some foot cream that I bought 2 weeks ago that was 25% off. Now it was 75% off and they gave me NO trouble at all… I wonder if it varies by store?

  35. Diana

Great deal on diapers! I just stocked up on all sizes for my three month old! I hope he like CVS diapers, because I know Mommy does at 75% off!!!

  36. Elizabeth

Thank you!!! In the land of little deals (San Antonio) this was a deal that revived my spirit of frugality.

  37. Kristy

Thank you sooo much for advertising this deal!!! we bought 1342 diapers tonight and saved tons!

  38. Jenny

You guys are awesome!! I got a TON of stuff for $40 (diapers, wipes, diaper cream, baby shampoo, pads, & pedialyte pops)- and not a single item was advertised or marked on clearance- I never would have known to check the prices on those things. Thank you Colin & commenters! All set for baby #2, who should be arriving any day now:)

  39. Jessica

The diaper shelves were already cleared at my store, but I was able to snag the last aveeno diaper cream. Thanks for the heads up.

  40. ANA

    • Charisse

Mine weren’t free, but still–my CVS had 2-packs of MAM pacifiers 50% off, so $2.49 each, plus the $2/1 MAM cpn made them $.49 per 2-pack!

  49. Becky

I was able to get CVS size 5 overnight diapers for 2.49 (24 pack I think)- I got 4 and there was still 10+ on the shelf until the next person came along and bought the rest…. All size 4 diapers were 25% off though. I also got bath toys, q-tips and johnsons soothing bath for 75% off. Total spent at that CVS was 13.40. I then went to another and diapers were not yet marked down. However, i did get toddler wipes for 50% off (love those)…. Went to another one (because when I bought the wipes I got a$5.00 off a $15.00 purchase) and got size 4 cvs diapers for 4.44 (31 pack), 2 5-pack of resealable wipes for 4.97 each and a pack of gum for 1.00. After the coupon the total was 11.15… Good CVS day!

  50. Carrie

I used the 20 percent off coupon printing out today and got three packs of diapers for 20.00. Two packes of Huggies (66 ct) and one pack of CVS brand (36 ct). This was a great deal!
