Recyclebank: Earn 30 More Points + A Possibly an Additional 25 More (Select Areas)

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Here’s a way you can earn up to 55 more Recyclebank points! Just head on over here and log in (or register) and click on the “Earn Points” tab at top. Then scroll down and look for the Follow the Freshpedition opportunity. After you click “Get Started”, watch the video, take the quiz, and you’ll earn 25 Recyclebank points! Pledge to be more conscious about the amount of waste you generate to earn another 5 points!

And, in select areas, you may be able to score another 25 points by clicking on the Learn How to Make Your Summer Meals More Sustainable opportunity pictured above. Empty the picnic basket to learn a few facts about more sustainable products and you’re done! Keep in mind that even if you see this opportunity, points for doing it may not be available in your area. After I emptied the basked and clicked to get my points, a message popped up letting me know this opportunity is not available in my area.

And don’t forget the daily “live green” offer for 5. That’s 5 points a day (150 points a month). The only thing with the “live green” offer is it can only be done every 24 hours, not any time of the day.

What is Recyclebank?

If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

Thanks! I was able to earn all the points for both activities. FYI you can also read 3 articles a day on Earth 911 for 1 point each. That is a 24 hour thing too. I alsways read the articles right after I do the pledge. I do this about 5 times a week & get 8 points a day.
