If you love fresh fish as much as I do, then you’ll definitely want to consider heading on over to Whole Foods tomorrow, July 27th, where you can snag Alaska Troll-Caught Coho Salmon for just$8.99/pound. Troll-caught salmon are caught one at a time by trollers (trollers are small boats that fish by hook and line which means that there is little impact on the environment and minimal bycatch), cleaned by hand and packed in ice. This careful individual handling process results in top quality and superb flavor.

Sounds good to me! 😀

they usually ship to the store frozen, an then they thaw before selling. so if you want to stock up, you can request the ones still frozen. we love this kind of fish!

$8.99 is the best sale price I have found for wild caught salmon it can range upwards of 12.99+ depending on the season.

I just went and picked some up at Whole Foods, and the signs said the original price is $16.99!! I knew $8.99 was a great price, but I had no idea it was nearly half price!! 🙂

And it was shipped fresh, caught two days ago, never been frozen. How Awesome is that!!!
