Just a heads up to everyone…Target is very hard to price match!! I tried this week with the ToysRUs ad and they kept making excuses about this and that and they don’t do it at the register, you have to go to customer service. It made me realize that Walmart is the place for price matching or just go to the store that has the deal you want.
Target is riDICulous!! They wouldn’t even let me use the Roseart coupon, and their excuse was that the item was already on sale.
I used the coupon, but got a snotty cashier. I protested and got a manager and won the battle (and it was a battle). The cashier was so nasty I wrote corporate.
yeah as much as I love target I have so many problems using coupon. more than once I had to get a manager or supervisor because the cashier just makes up rules that are not in the coupon policy
That calls for some corporate intervention! or addressed with the top dog. I would!
Gotta love the haters! They just get mad because they don’t have the skills to do what we do 🙂
at walmart i made them price match last weeks stapls deal on the bic 5pk pencils for .25 each they had the nerve to tell me i couldnt use coupons on it! i fought it won it and they had to pay me .50 for every 2 packs of pencils i got i made off with $137 worth of scool items for only $7 outta pocket, going to make them price match walgreen bic pens this week and get some free pens 🙂 they hate me at walmart
wtg! i priced matched at wm when staples had the zebra pens for $1. then i had the $2 Q’s – made $4 back (i had 4 Q’s) for the .25 crayola crayons i priced matched with toyrus & other things i bought!! my cashier was ok with the price match, then when i gave her the Q’s, she was like, “I can’t take these”. i was like “yes u can”! 🙂 she had to check with a mgr, but then put it through just fine! 🙂 got over $17 worth of wm stuff for .98!!
Their policy clearly states that you must do it at customer service. I find it so much easier to do any kind of couponing at all of my local Targets than any of my local Walmarts.
I’ve done price matches at customer service with coupons & never had an issue. I try to visit Target either early in the morning before they start getting busy or later in the night when they slow down otherwise you’ll end up waiting in line. Sorry that happened to you, Jennifer but if you try again, just hit up customer service.
i tried to price match some 12 pack sodas and they didnt want to so i went to walmart
UGH….I just stocked up on tape at target when they were 1.00 a piece. Figures they would come down.
you should be able to price match if it was within 14 days. I just bought 12 rolls yesterday. I am planning to take me receipt in for a price adjustment!
do they price match target coupons. ex. i bought 3 8 packs of the hanes underwear for kids and this week they have a $5 off coupons. or should i just return them and but them again
i used the rose art coupon the other day with no problem! and actually you can buy 3 packs of roseart crayons for 25 cents each. use your coupon and its a money maker! you make 25 cents!

Hi! I used 5 coupons and they didnt mind my 15 items because I has a cart full of stuff. However, per their policy, you are limited to four like coupons per person per day. Just an fyi.
I was at my local target yesterday. I bought 10 packages each of crayons, glue sticks, colored pencils, thin markers & thick markers. They did not give me any problem with my 50 items or all my coupons.
Unfortunately we didn’t get the Roseart coupon down here in south Mississippi. Me and my sister were very disappointed 🙁

Can you private message me the sellers name? Maybe I can try and get the same kind of deal. I have 4 preschoolers who were all supposed to have their supplies covered by my ex’s child support check but he stopped paying. I have to come up with school supplies for 7 kids now because my oldest 3 are in first,second and and 8th grades.
Will the Roseart price be on the actual copy of the ad unlike this past week?
I went to Target today and they wouldn’t let me use all 3 of my Roseart coupons on the 9 glue sticks because they said they would owe me money. Does Target not give overage?
They don’t typically give overage, but they are supposed to adjust the coupon down. So you should have been able to use all your coupons!
They don’t allow overage anymore. In my area, they don’t even adjust. The best thing to do is get a marker or color pencil for 0.52 and two gluesticks for 0.25 so its ends up being 2 pennies plus the tax.
That’s what I did too-didn’t need anymore crayons.
if you still have the coupons you can go back and buy 4 gluesticks per coupon. that’s what i did and had no issues at all. free glue and free crayons!

Is the coupon a target only coupon?
The Scotch tape is a target coupon.
I paired my tape this week with those coupons that were available for print a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly there was a thing on them that said they were redeemable at HUB, but since it was a manufacturer coupon, you could use them anywhere. They were for scotch and a few other items. Denomination was $1 off 3, $2 off 4 and $3 off 5. Also threw in the 2 Target coupons for $.50 off scotch tape. I paid $1 a roll but I’ll take my receipt in for a price adjustment next week. Thanks again Collin!! You Rock!!
at my Target, some cashiers will adjust the price, some wont, and some dont care what the coupon is, as long as it scans! ive made a point to go on Sat. when one of two coupon friendly cashiers are there.
what is the promotion with getting a free set of crayons? and is this promotion going on now or not untill sunday the 5th? thanks
Its supposed to be one free pack of crayons per pack of color pencils or per pack of markers to essentially two items for $0.49. This is better than the current prices of 0.49 for one and 0.25 for the other. This starts next sunday 8/5. However I would do it now and skip the free crayons. The color pencils/ markers seemed slim at my store unless they restock. Many of us are doing multiples, as you saw in this post someone bought 50. I personally will be purchasing 150 items but I divided these between 4 stores (including two targets, kmart and walmart)
I went Tuesday and got crayons and glue sticks with no problem. I did go back Wed because 2 of my dollar coupons (not sure which ones) didnt come off so Target gave me a Target coupon vs. a gift card, no questions asked. I love Target and dislike Walmart extremely bad!!!
i tried to use the roseart IP Q & it wouldn’t scan on the scanner or with the gun. the cashier said it wouldn’t even go through when he entered the numbers. so he wouldn’t take it. :/
My coupons wouldn’t scan either, but the cashier was able to enter them manually!
FYI I shop kmart sales and if you buy $25 before coupons in beauty or household (diapers, toiletries, grocery) they double 5 coupons up to $1. I bought 9 roseart items the color pencils and markers where $1 and crayons $0.50 but thre items free as well after the doubling. 😀

Not anymore. The coupon actually states one per person per day not even per transaction. 🙁 However, some people have noted here that their stores let it slide.
Ok – I went to walmart and they DO NOT sell any rose-art brand products so is that a brand only sold at target? Ive got 30 of this coupon and would love to know where to use it. Walmart sells Crazy-art brand and Im sure that is not the same?

I’m extremely disappointed that we didn’t get the $1/3 Roseart coupon here in Kansas City, MO! My sister is a 3rd grade teacher and I was going to get her free classroom supplies.

my target scotch tape coupon states that “coupons value may not exceed value of item being purchased”, so that means no free scotch tape for me. Also, the $1/3, 2$/4 and $3/5 coupons can they be used to purchase this scotch magic tape?
Target does do price matching, but you do have to go over to the customer service desk with your price match items to check out there for those items. It is a hassle, but we do it when the prices are right.
So I went to my Target today and none of the RoseArt items were 25¢. I price checked, too, but they came up as 52¢. :[
