Happy Friday: National S’mores Day

Hello! I thought I’d share a fun little activity with you in honor of National S’mores Day today!
Our family created a solar oven out of a pizza box and voila- Solar S’mores! We learned a little science, ate a little chocolate- really, it was a win, win! I gave step by step instructions here. Kids do need help from grown-ups, but it was a pretty easy project.

my husband runs a pizza shop im so having him bring home a pizza box tonight 🙂 very clever!
My kids would love it.. but we have too many ants outside 🙁
my son makes one of these any time he can get his hands on a pizza box. it gets so hot here we can bake cookies!
