Today I received a surprise package from my thoughtful husband who is currently deployed to the desert. I opened the package and immediately cracked up. It totally made my day because it is so true and so me! I thought you would get a kick out of it as well!
Even though he is 6,000 miles away, he loves all the packages I have been sending for him with all the hip deals I learn about thanks to you and coupons! This last package was loaded with razors and goodies that I scored for free or better than free! He had this shirt made for me while he was just hanging out thinking of me. Hope it makes you laugh too!

LOL! I deserve a T-shirt like that as well. How thoughful your hubby is, mine went ti hiking since 6am and has no plan to return yet, urrrrrrr, I am here with my 3 months old, I am starving!!!!
You need to leave your husband with the baby for an afternoon and see if he leaves that long again ;)…I bet it never happens again.

How ’bout one that says, “I am couponing and price matching.” You might wanna find a different line…” Seriously, I’m sick of apologizing to people and warning them.
Soooo true!!! And how about the nasty looks when I hand over my stack of coupons! I want to turn around and say well I warned you!!!
Yes I hear ya ! Some lady stomped out of line after saying “Are there any other registers open uggh”. So I just laughed. You can’t let them get to you just get your good deals girl! lol
Omg.. me too! I constantly have people walk into the line behind me and I always tell them “it may look like i don’t have a lot but I have at least 1 coupon for every item and if there is the slightest problem, we might be here for a while so you might be better off in a different line” … They usually thank me, but some give me weird looks and get aggrevated! I usually have to say it AT LEAST 3 times in the course of a check out
It seems like people either really like coupons and start up a conversation with your or they really dont like coupons and thats when “things get nasty” lol. Add a screaming 5 month old to the mix and you are in for a real treat when shopping with me. 🙂

AT LEAST one coupon for every item. haha . I had one made awhile back that says “Warning: Smart Shopper” ” I have 100 coupons and I know how to use them”
You have a nice hubby. My husband never supports me thinks Im crazy. Maybe I should not use coupons for a month and teach him a lesson when he has BIG BILLS.

I did that for a week (that way it would prove my point without breaking the bank). My husband never complained again!
I’m sorry your hubby isn’t being supportive! Maybe for a week or two show him your receipts and then show him what the totals would have been without coupons (or maybe you already do this). A few weeks ago I HAD to buy my hubby some more razor blades because he was completely out (usually I’m very well stocked on the freebies) and he was absolutely shocked at how expensive it was and very glad that I normally don’t have to pay for them, or pay very very little. Couponing is not crazy at all and a very economical thing to do. Hopefully he comes around! 🙂
I might as well go outside and tell a cricket, because my husband could care less about the free stuff & good deals that I get so excited about! lol
My husband once told me that my couponing was starting to get really annoying and bothersome when I asked him to pull over into the gas station so I could grab a few papers…. When I replied with “when is the last time YOU payed for a grocery bill” (as I have saved so much on groceries I just pay for them now rather than asking him to go with me or to hand over his credit card before I go to the grocery store) he shut right up, never complained about it again
urgh, I’m in Europe right now and my husband is in the States. I still make a list with him and tell him what coupons to get and from where. The last time I didn’t, he went and bought $250 worth of groceries just for himself for 2 weeks – I was 8 weeks pregnant and because of the hormones I ended up crying like a baby for 2 hours, LOL. AND he still complains when I make him coupon.
My hubby doesn’t get it, but he knows I love it so he usually just goes “oh geez, here you go again!” Except the other day when a free sample of some health supplements Dymatize came in (with a bag and a shaker) he was like a kid in a candy store.

Thanks Everyone! I do have a keerer. He is my biggest fan as I am his! He has read all your kind words and it means alot to both of us so thank you so very much. I coupon to be able to stay at home with our 2 kids, though my daughter just started Kindergarten. My little man has an autoimmune disorder where he is alergic to most foods and couponing for things we need like personal care and stuff that is usually pretty expensive but now I know how to get it for Free or better than free, it frees up more money for my sons food that almost never has coupons and is so gosh darn expensive! Thanks Collin this has made both our days!
