Wow! Toys R Us is hosting a huge Labor Day Sale and offering up great deals on toys, electronics and much more! First, all Leapster software is on sale 2/$10 (regularly $24.99 each!). This is a HUGE savings so I would snatch these up ASAP before they sell out.
You may also want to snag several of the Sing-a-ma-jigs which are on sale for just $4 each (save an additional 10% off online!). Other deals to note are 50% off all Uglydolls, Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Moxie Girlz dolls, play sets & accessories, Toddler Beach Towels and Wraps just $7.99 each (reg. $16.99-$19.99!), $5 off all laundry detergents 100 oz. or larger (in-store only with this coupon), and more. Click here to view all the available in-store coupons.
Note that most of these deals are available both online and in-store. Also, most items online ship FREE with store pick-up and/or qualify for free 2-day shipping with ShopRunner. Or you can just opt to head to Toys R Us today or later this weekend to get in on these deals!
Come back and let us know what you snag!
(Thanks, The Wally World Woman!)
does any one know how much the leapster is i would love to get one for my three boys and some of the softwear and put up for christmas!!!!
Last year the leapster2 went on sale for 20$ on black friday, otherwide they are about 50$ I think. My daughter has one and only 2 games because they are so expensive. This is a incredible price.
Can anyone else get shoprunner to work with the leapster games?
nope
I noticed quite often when things are on sale at Toys R Us they aren’t shopprunner eligible.
No shop runner on the leapster games. Stinks! But still a good deal even after shipping!
Does the shoprunner free shipping not show up until you hit the last proceed with order? I was signed into my shoprunner express pay, and it still shows the shipping charges. This is not such a good deal without free shipping!
I can’t figure out how to login to my Shoprunner during checkout…Help!
Shoprunner would show on the item screen if it was available to use for that item. It looks like its not there for the leapster games.
Also wanted to let you know that the leapster games are only compatible with the leapster 1 & 2. They are not compatible with the leapster explorer or the leap pad.
I am so happy I read this! I thought the games were all compatible with the Leappad. Bummer.
I thought so too. I had bought some on good clearance at Target and before I opened them I decided I should double check.. I am glad I did. This is the site I got my info from…
https://leapfrog.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2173/~/what-games-are-compatible-with-leappad-tablet%3F
This is what it says on the site you just posted…
“LeapPad works with the entire Leapster Explorer library of game cartridges and digital apps, with the exception of the Photo Mania app. Both game cartridges labeled Leapster Explorer and those labeled LeapFrog Explorer will work with the LeapPad. “
Yes the leapster explorer games are different than the games that are in the 2/10 sale. These are Leapster games and are for the original consoles. The new platform will not play these.
thank you! this helps me a ton. we want to get a leapster explorer!
It did show up, and I logged in, but it is not showing free shipping on the shoprunner express checkout, and it looks like if I click this page, I am ordering. Just now sure I am getting free shipping since it shows a shipping charge.
items have to be shoprunner eligible, is will have an icon under the special offer section that will say ‘shoprunner eligible’
Maximum of 1 discount per cart on the leapster games
None of the games are available in store in my area and they aren’t offering this for free shipping with ShopRunner I will be pricematching at Walmart. Thanks for the great deal but way to make it difficult ToysRus!
What are you printing to price match at walmart? Just the page with the games listed showing they’re priced at 2/$10?
https://toysrus.shoplocal.com/toysrus/default.aspx?action=entryflash&ab=Tru_homepage_aspot:bottom:Find-these-SUPER-DEALS-and-more-in-this-weeks-ad Click on Labor Day Ad then I am printing that and taking it with me.
Will they price match with out the store printed ad? you are printing it from your computer will they accept that?
Supposedly Walmart prices matches by word-of-mouth, but I like to have an ad to show I’m being honest about an item and price.
I’m almost positive that WalMart will not match online prices.
This is not only an online price but instore as well. The ad is proof of that.
And it also says on the ad that I sent the link for “at your local ToysRUs and BabiesRUs store. Also, I had no trouble price matching at my local Walmart.
If you have a FRYs electonics store they DO match online prices… Even Amazon prices, when either amazon is the seller or other seller that is not a private seller! I know their store locations are limited though.
I wish I had a toys r us nearby. The closest one is 2 hours away..
I absolutely hate buying from Toy R Us and babies R Us. They say it’s free shipping over 99.00 until you add items to you cart and you see they only take 20.00 off the shipping price. I worked out multiple combinations in my shopping cart and no matter how I entered I was paying at least 14.00 in shipping.
What are some good games for Leapad2 for a 4 year old boy to play? Going to buy a few for neighbors kid.
I got 2 games! Thanks for posting this awesome deal! Even with shipping, it still makes it a bargain.
Cannot get the $4 Sing-a-ma-jigs through Shoprunner 🙁
Same here! 🙁
i got a $5 of $25 purchase of toys in store. can i use that for this deal or with other coupons Jenny listed?
Are the Leapster Explorer games included in this price? Browsing online it didnt’ look like it?/ has anyone been in a store and noticed?? Thanks!
I have been in the store this morning and only the leapster are on sale, not the one for the explorer
shopathome 1% and ebates 2% cash back. Plus you can choose in store pick up and not pay shipping charges.
I just went and bought four in store for $20 plus tax. I wasn’t sure if they had a limit of 2 like they did online, but wanted to pass along that when purchasing four in the store that they were $5 each. What a great deal!!
