i purchased a 3-month subscription for myself & one as a gift for my sister. neither of us were impressed. most of the samples were sizes that i would expect to get for free (example- a 3 pack of 7th gen baby wipes). one month it had a pretty cute rattle toy, but overall i didn’t find it to be worth even the introductory price of $6/month.
I agree, I got the groupon deal or something of that nature . Every mth was a bummer!

I purchased the 3 month for a gift for my niece and she thought it was just free samples she didn’t even get the gift note with it. I was bummed because it looked like something really nice.
I was not happy with the product sizes or the customer service department. I found the whole bluum experience to be really disappointing overall – don’t waste your money.
I love the Bluum box. I have gotten 4 so far and everyone has been great. I have gotten full size Triple paste, Triple cream & Triple wash and each one is valued at least at $10 so totally worth it for me. My boxes when I tally them up are usually anywhere from $15 to $30.
Unfortunately, I had the same experience. Initially the box had full-size products, then primarily just small samples. I highly recommend Citrus Lane. A bit more out of pocket (anywhere from about $18 to $25 depending upon pkg and you’ll receive about $50 worth) but great boxes every month, and their customer service is incredible!
I guess I have low standards because I thought I got a great deal last time I signed up with Bluum hehe. I think for the price you probably get between 2-3X your money in products. I thought it was neat also to find out about some new products. I guess I did not expect them to send me a $200 product so I was pleasantly surprised by what I got. I got two full size organic baby shampoo, a set of 5 baby bibs, two shirts and 1 or 2 other small items I forget. I saw the shampoo in Bed, Bath & Beyond for $14.95 so I was pretty happy!
I LOVE LOVE bluum. It has really introduced me to products I didn’t know was out there. Most everything I have received are larger sizes. Some lip balm etc. are small, but I would expect that. In August I got a large Caldrea hand soap that was amazing. I guess some people expect more, but for me it’s like Christmas each month.
I got my first box today and can’t believe people pay $12 a month for it. All I got was samples that I probable could have wrote the companies for. I am glad I got a really cheap 3 month subscription
I love Bluum Box! I also like Blissmo Box, however it’s a bit on the pricey side…And hands down Conscious Box has the BEST customer Service! For me, paying a buck or two more knowing that if I do run into a problem it will be fixed asap is worth it! Example: I received my Conscious Box, noticed the lotion leaked and emailed them right away. I heard back that night and had a replacement box in two days!
I did the same thing Blum for three months I think from Plum district. Not great in my oppinion. If you have a newborn might be good. My daughter was 2 when I got it and most items did not apply to her gave all three boxes away.
I did this and enjoyed trying the products, but they were definitely only sample size. I never received any full size products.
Odd how some ppl got full size and some sample sizes. I wonder if it has something to do with thevsign up price. All i got were sample size items as well.
i love my bluum boxes.. every month is different and a mix of different stuff.. if you have a little one under 1, its geared mostly towards that age.. last month they sent a full size triple paste butt cream.. which retails for 10$ itselfs.. most stuff is sample or travel size) but its a great way to try something out before you actaully buy it.. some of the stuff i’ve loved, some im so glad i could try because id never buy.. they also include stuff for mom.. sephora make up, lotions, all kinds of stuff.. in general ive been very happy with it. and in each box theres usually one big thing.. (full size item) that usually covers the cost of the box.. the rest of the stuff is just a bonus.. thats my take on it anyway. i love getting it every month!
I gave my sister both Bluum and Citrus Lane in summer of 2011 when she had her son. She said Citrus Lane was a lot better and they are still using products from there (for example a sippy cup with a retractable straw)
I received a Bluum box this week, thinking it would be similar to Storkstack. Not the case at all. Everything was sample size except for a vitamin bar. Needless to say I was really looking forward to my first Bluum box and was very disappointed.
