My homemade ones cost something like 1.50 a batch to make…and they’re organic. This is ridiculous! Yum, plastic laundry detergent treats!

    • James

      That’s not very encouraging

    • Mayra

Do you have a good recipe? Would love to try them ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Em

I just use various “white” cake recipes from the Internet and add sprinkles! I make my own sprinkles too, like 1x a year and keep them in the freezer: https://bravetart.com/recipes/RainbowSprinkles I use stuff like beet and blueberry juice to color instead of the food coloring.

I’m a huge believer in taking great care of your body and only putting good, nutritious food in it. A yummy cupcake for the kids birthdays and brownies every now and then are perfectly fine with me, as long as they aren’t chock full of crap, like the ones I make. They will eat crap, and I do mean absolute junk, at school on holidays and stuff and it is amazing the behavioral issues that come with it!

It takes a little extra time to do this kind of thing, but I just stay up late every now and then to make the extras. We have 3 kiddos and my husband and I are both professionals so it’s really the only time to do it efficiently. ๐Ÿ™‚

I also make fudge pops, my own brownie mixes, fruit roll ups, lots of stuff. They are so stinking good! My kids friends love coming to my house!

I just saw your blog, and WOW! you ROCK!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m going to try your animal cracker with caramel feet recipe for me and my 4 kiddos!!

          • Em

Not my blog- just one I reference. Though, I’m glad you like it ๐Ÿ™‚

            • Em

Holy cow- I hadn’t seen the recipe for those! I must have overlooked, how cute! My middle child has a birthday coming up- perfect for the party! I’m super glad you mentioned!

            • Crystal W.

My mistake, I thought it was your blog! ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Corina

Yeah, tried another browser and no go.

Also got an error – but coupons.com has a 50ยข/ coupon. If your stores double then it will be $1.
Weis has them for $3.92, and they double, so for me it would be $2.92, just to give people a general idea of what they would be worth.
Also, looks like fun for kids!!

  20. Katherine

Tried Chrome, IE and Firefox —no coupon. Just error message.

  21. allie

Error on firefox, explorer, & chrome. ๐Ÿ™

  22. Mel

Don’t worry if you missed the coupon – this is the WORST mix ever. It was lumpy and hard to get out of the container. Do they really think we can’t figure out how to use a bowl & mixer???

  23. rae

Has anyone tried these yet? Sorry, I’m not SuperMom and don’t want to make treats from scratch with organic flour I milled myself, but I do love to show my 4-year-old how to mix and follow baking instructions. Just curious how they taste?
