I usually stock up at Walgreens when the 32 oz is 2.99. Have not seen that price in over a year though.
It’s comparable to the costco price per oz. (slightly higher, but you don’t have to buy a larger container)

I thought it was just me! I haven’t been back to Wags since the first week of the sale and I don’t have a card either. They have completely turned me off to shopping there and I hope if enough people stop shopping there, they will get rid of this ridiculous new program……
The first week the points were great, but ever since the points are not even worth it, and it’s like they only offer points on items that no coupons are available for. The first week I stocked up on water 500 points per 24 pk, and 1000 points for the ID gum when you buy 2.
Any water deals now have been get 500 points if you buy 3 24pks.
Now I have $80 on my card but I have not even found anything worth spending my points on. Oh well.
I have read a lot of people say they have points to spend but are saving them for black Friday since there will be MANY free items with register rewards. Something you might think about.
If the black Friday freebies are with free with balance rewards (instead of RRs) this time, then, if you use the points saved, you will not get the new points and therefore the items will not be free.
That is why I do not go for the balance rewards, there is rarely something I would buy as a deal without balance rewards or at least you cannot plan for it.
I also agree – very dissapointed with Walgreens since they rolled out their new program and I use to love shopping there. I am learnign to like CVS more these days 🙂

It depends. I’m not sure which specific deal you are referring to, but look at the fine print in the ad. Usually the Walgreens ad will say if you have to in small print. For example
4/$10 or $2.99 each. I have found if you buy more than the amount listed in the sale you will most likely get the cheaper price on all of them. I’m not sure why that happens.
Also, RiteAid has added this rule to most of their sales. It will say the same thing in their ads. I don’t have a CVS near me, so I can’t say what their policy is.
They shouldn’t take away all the RR deals. Points aren’t that much of an incentive to shop there.

I don’t like the way coupons.com changed their format. I no longer have a choice of using different zip codes plus the new format takes longer to load what coupons are available. Is anyone else having this same problem or is it just for us here in Oregon.
You can change your zip code by going to the “local coupons” tab at the top, entering it there, pressing enter, then returning to the main coupon page

Just an FYI, the bagged candy deal won’t work on anything BUT the Halloween bagged candy. So, if your like my store that has the Halloween Hershey bagged miniatures in 11oz then your WAGS in-store coupon won’t work. I tried going over to the candy aisle and found the Hershey’s Miniatures and Kisses on sale for the advertised price and it’s the correct size but, will not work for the 5,000 point deal. Instead you will only get 2,500 points. I tried to argue it in a very polite way and they said there is nothing we can do. Why can’t they be like CVS! Nothing complicated about shopping there!

That all depends. I have lived in neighborhoods where I had 300 kids and now I get none. Ask a neighbor what its like where you live. I have to take my kids to their Aunts to go trick or treating since all my neighbors went back to Florida for the winter. (I live on Cape Cod)

Actually, the Dr. Pepper deal will vary state to state. Dr. Pepper is part of the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group but is sometimes bottled under contract by Coke or Pepsi bottlers because they do not have enough of their own. It will depend on which company Dr Pepper uses in your state if it’s included in the Walgreens sale this week.

There was a $3 off coupon for Coricidan products in the 10/14 SS. It expires on Oct. 21st. I stacked with the $1 off coupon in the October coupon booklet which made the final price 1.99!! You do need the Balance rewards card to get the sale price of $5.99.
