will target do rainchecks (is that what they are called?) if they are out-of-stock?

    • Valerie

No rainchecks on TPC items. Sorry.

  2. Robbie

Awesome! It shows my store has them. But if they have them at that price they will definitely be wiped out.

  3. Mary

Why would Target sell it for .10? Seems odd to me.

  4. Mary

    That’s a crazy cheap price

This deal was post on TT site this am…ran to my store and they had at .10 but, peeps were snagging them…I managed to get two..all gone now at mine store…store two had none…think you had to jump on this one fast. According to my store in s fla they are not going to carry any longer and why the price. Hope that helps. Good Luck Finding.

It is probably about to expire. I always have problems at the Target I go to with expired food. Just last week I picked up a box of ceral that expired all most a year ago and a bottle a V8 that was 8 months beyond the expiration date.

    • Carmen

I agree. Lots of expired products on the shelves. I wanted the $2 orbit gum last week and it expired in June–all of the flavor I wanted was expired.

  7. Jenny

I just got back from my store & they had a FULL shelf… I bought 6 & they expire 16Mar13… Plenty of time to use it 🙂 Even the cashier was shocked..

    • Julie

Same with mine- they are good till March of 2013. This stuff tastes great! I had never tried it before, was excited to try it, especially for $0.10!! It tasted awesome on my bran muffin I ate when I got home. So excited they had it in stock!!

    • Ang

Thats good! Always check the dates!!

  8. Meg

Mine was fully stock! I grabbed a lot. MIne will expire March 2013. I was out of butter too! Thank you So Much! You are AWESOME :D!!

I am an asst. manager in the grocery department at a Target store, and this usually happens due to severe overstock at the warehouse or the sale price and savings amount get switched by a glitch in the system (i.e. It should be $0.10 off and $2.59, not $2.59 and $0.10).

  10. NICK

@ Valerie, you are wrong. You can get a rain check for a temporary price cut item. Does anyone remember the Mederma scar cream that was $2 on temporary price cut, regularly $18? Well I fit two rain checks for 10 each on that item.

I just picked up 8 of the butter. No tag at my store but I told my cashier what price they are so she’s buying the rest when she gets off work!!!! Price check just in case if you don’t have the tag up!!!!!!

    • Paula

Maybe it depends on the store. I was just told the same thing last night-can’t get a rain check for items on temporary price cut.

  11. Sarah

Just got back from the Portage, MI store and they have a TON! There was no sign saying they were .10, but they rang up at that! Don’t expire until Mar2013. Yay!

    • samanthawitchuk

OH REALLY, my store has this but it was full price and i didnt check (doh!) im going back now :0)

  12. Heather

Full shelf this morning(I was nice and left some) and late exp date! Thanks for the heads up Collin!

    • Heather

My store did have .10 price up.

  13. justina

Just got 8 at the mt. Dora, Florida store! Great desk for upcoming holiday cooking!

    • justina

      *deal*

  14. Kaity

Got some here in South Florida:)

got 5 today in Greece, NY.. So awesome! I Was *just* at my boyfriend’s last night eating waffles (we like breakfast foods at all hours..) and he always uses Brummel & Brown and I love it too and I was saying I need to get some spreadable butter because all I have is stick butter but I want a good deal.. I came, went on Hip2Save (which I go on a billion times a day, I’m an addict..) and saw this deal and I was SOOOO happy! The closest Target to me was sold out (Chili, NY has some deal finders!!!) so I took the extra 10-15 minute drive to a different store and they had a ton and I got 5… I was practically doing cartwheels down the aisle.. There is something about saving money!! When you think about it you could get 26 butters for the price of 1! That is unheard of! And the expiration March 2013… more than enough time! Someone suggested freezing it, not sure if that would work but it is definitely a possibility :)!

    • Mich

I’ve tried to freeze this brand before and it doesn’t work well. It has a lot of water in it and it will separate.

I live in Tulsa, Ok and my brother-in-law works at target. I told him to check his store. They weren’t marked but he priced checked them and they were .10¢! There were plenty so I had him get 6!! Plus, he gets a 15% discount so an even more awesome deal 😀

  17. Melissa

They had 4 at my store. Thanks for the great deal! Also great for already going to get the Lego City set price matched to Walmarts ad price of $39.97 regularly $89.99! Best Target trip ever!

  18. Holly

Target’s website said “low stock” this morning. I found at least 15 on the shelf. Now, a Target near work now says “in stock”, but it was “out of stock” as of last night. Interesting!

I got 5 this morning, and offered a tube to 3 of my coworkers.

  19. Suzanne

I got 15 this morning, and my sister scored the same amount. At the three stores that we hit, they were all regular priced. We scanned them and they came up 10 cents. Thanks so much, and we did leave plenty for others. Baking season is upon us.

  20. Shanna

I went and picked up 4 and I plan on to git one more Target to get 4 more! No more butter for a good long while!

    • Shanna

      ‘hit’

  21. debbielynne

I went this evening and found ten at my local store. The expiration date is in Jan & Feb. Do you think this can be used for baking?

  22. Karen S

Just found some at my store. There was no shelf tag for .10 so I’m sure that is why they had so many….I got 8!!

  23. Justyna

Going to go price match at Walmart tomorrow!

    • Christie

Curious to know if they price-matched for you? 🙂

  24. bella

I got 6 at my Target in Tucson, az. I was tempted to get more, but to be honest I dont really like margarine, I use butter because I feel it is more “natural”. but for 10 cents I had to get some

  25. Mary

Just went this morning and there ringing up regular price :/

  26. Meg

YEs I checked again today because they have it in stock but its back to original its price. But its ok I got 12 of them anyways :)….f.y.i. we have 3 target stores in my location so I didnt clear the shelves :).
