your description says DOVE, but the deal is for dial, i know its just a typo but i thought i point it out so nobody gets confused.

  2. Sherry

I saw on another thread, this Double Dip may be dead!! I may still go to test it soon.

    • Sherry

It looks as though he may have bought the regular dial instead of the foaming. Must be why they didn’t produce all the ups.

  3. Inga

this is soooo friken awesome! we needs soap atvm! lol thanks sooooo much hahah hope we have some left here in MA

  4. Amanda

My RedPlum had a $1/3 coupon. Would it be a $1 moneymaker for me if I buy 3? Because I would buy 3, pay $5, and get (3) $1 +UPs of the weekly reward and (3) $1 +UPs of the monthly reward, right?

    • hamsmom

Sounds correct. You can buy an odd number, I did and it worked.

    • terri

Amanda, I think (could be wrong) you need to buy 4, if you buy 3, 2 will be 2/4 and the third will be a single purchase, so you pay whatever it is…2.99? (not sure)…you need to buy 2 at a time.

      • hamsmom

Terri, I did the deal yesterday with three and they all ring up at $2.

        • Amanda

It may have worked for you hamsmom, but per RiteAid policy, if something is priced 2/$4 (regular price $2.99) for example, and you bought three, only two should ring up as $2 each, the third would be $2.99.

          • Amanda

Really? Because at Walgreens, you only have to buy the required amount to get the sale price, and then everything after that rings up at the sale price. I think I will just see what happens at the register.
            -A different Amanda

            • hamsmom

My Walgreens give the sales price once you have reached the MINIMUM required for the deal at least one time. For example, 2/$4 would require $2, anything above two I get for $2 each, so odd numbers are no problem (past 1, of course.)

            • Amanda

              Right, that’s what I said.

          • Marly

Single purchase price means you purchase only one item. If you buy three in one transaction it is not a single purchase, you are buying more than one. I only had one coupon for a dollar off three. I paid $5 got back $3 in up rewards. Not a money maker but still a good price. Each rang up at $2.

        • Kristy

I allso bought 3 yesterday & they rang up $2 each

  5. mindy

Are dove and dial made by same people?

    • hamsmom

It was a typo, the deal is for dial only. Dove has nothing to do with the deal.

  6. hamsmom

Some people have reported that the JACKOLANTERN halloween dial also worked for them. The BLACK CAT isn’t working anywhere for anyone, don’t try it. Also, be sure you get the FOAMING WHITE TEA, they also have a non-foaming dial white tea that looks very similar but it will not work for this deal.

    • renee

the jackolantern worked for me. i also heard the black cat is not working though.

      • hamsmom

Two folks here today reported the black cat did work for them.

        • hamsmom

Oops, and now someone in Tenn. said the black cat didn’t work! I saw elsewhere where black cat wasn’t working in Cali, either.

          • squarejellybean

The” BLACK CAT DID NOT WORK” here in CA but I got 2 jack o lanterns, black cat and reg foam soap ( those were the only ones left from all 3 stores). Paid $8.00 and got $6.00 ups so I’m happy because I was almost out of hand soap. The black cat looks really coool in the dark, my kids like it……….. thanks for all the post 🙂

  7. Melanie Reed

    What is the limit? 4?

    • hamsmom

Limit is four bottles of soap.

      • Melanie Reed

        Thanks. 🙂

        • Inga Foksha

Is it really limited to 4 bottles??

          • Inga Foksha

I thought it was 4 offers. So that would mean 8 or 16… Collin I’m confused.. HELP!

            • renee

              you can buy 4 soaps.

          • hamsmom

It is four offers. An offer is one bottle. The UP reward is based on 1 bottle, so four offers is four bottles. If you do more, you won’t get any more UPs. Usually if there is a mulitple limit on an up, after you do the last eligible offer, it will say something like “Thankyou for your purchase of dial soap. Offer limit reached” This can help you keep track of if you hit your limit…check your receipt after you buy the fourth and you should see it.

  8. des

is the monthly rewards limited to certain areas? i didn’t get the monthly UP rewards w/ my purchase & when i asked the cashier she doesn’t know about the “monthly” up i’m talking about…as always, thank you for doing a great job w/ helping us!!!

    • vs

Where you at des? Anybody experience the same issue?

  9. AngelaT

I just (12 pm) purchased the White Tea at Rite Aid in PTC, Ga and got 4 up rewards for buying two.

  10. Crystal w

    I bought 5 and received 8 $1 ups

    • Jenn

      You shoulda purchased only 4

  11. Sara

It is still alive. Confirming the White Tea, and the Halloween pumps. Great deal. Black Cat worked for me in OH. Only foaming products work

    • hamsmom

how many did you buy and how many ups did you get? Nowhere else has anyone said the black cat worked, they say it doesn’t work. It may produce one of the ups, but not both.

    • Inga Foksha

Will the other foaming product variety work??

      • hamsmom

No, the double dip only works with the ones specified here, FOAM Jackolantern, Halloween Scene (with the house, pumpkin), and White Tea (foam). I’m sceptical of the Black Cat until at least one more person reports it working.

    • Teenav

Sara the black cat and jack o lantern worked for me in CT. I received 8 up rewards with no problems.

    • tiffany

good to know it works in ohio, thanks I will have to try it!!:)

  12. Carey

Does anyone know if there is any other dial coupons out there? I didn’t have any in my 10\7 rp. Thanks

  13. arria

Just got 4 and it printed 8 $1 ups. Woohoo! Love free soap! I am gonna give them to my kids’ preschool teachers! They will love them! I got the foaming white tea and halloween house scene. Saw blk cat but stayed away from it!! Thanks H2S!!!

  14. Eve

This deal is still working as of 2:40 pm EST.

  15. Carol_R

Too bad we didn’t get these coupons in our RedPlum in the Washington Post in DC.

  16. Amanda

Sold out completely at all the stores near me. But I still think .65 hand soap isn’t too shabby 🙂 Thanks for the heads up on this deal!

  17. Meg

4:30 p.m. in NY still worked. I found the pumpkin kind in the halloween costume isle, and regular white tea in the soap isle. no coupons here but free is ok with me!

    • Jennifer

It took me forever to realize that the Halloween soap was in the seasonal aisle! It was on one of the bottom shelves too – I walked right past it!

    • Ambika

Meg, did it work for black cat also in NY?

  18. Heidi

Didn’t work in Murray Utah at 11:00 am on the white tea one.

    • Amanda

Did you get foaming white tea? It doesn’t work on the regular one apparently.

  19. Stacie Frost

Still working in TN at 6:30. The cat does not work. =[

  20. Amanda

Went to 3 Rite Aids near my house: one is very small and did not appear to have a spot for the Halloween soaps and there was no spot for foaming white tea; one said they have been out of the Halloween soaps for at least a week and the foaming white tea was wiped clean; and the third only had the cat Halloween soaps. Bummer. 🙁

  21. Jenna

Does anyone know if u can use up rewards at rite aid online?

  22. Tina

completely outta soap at my rite aid. 🙁

  23. karen

@ another site, i read that the foaming green tea is suppose to work, too… will be chking it out in bay shore, ny

  24. Summer

None on display at my local Rite Aid so I asked the cashier if they had any of the Halloween dispensers pictured in the ad. The very friendly cashier said they had some in the back and asked me which type I wanted. Bought 2 foaming white tea and 2 spooky house – got 8 $1 UPs as reported. Yay!

    • Amanda

Wow, that’s awesome! Good for you (and the helpful cashier)!

  25. anna

i just bought 4 and only got 4 $1 ups… they are all foaming.

    • renee

      What types did you buy?

  26. Tim

It would help if people post the actual UPC codes of the ones that work. Thanks!

    • Tina

1700009133 blue and black bottle with the jack o lantern on it, with the haunted house in the back , like collin posted. This one worked for me got $4 ups. Located in the halloween section. HTH

    • Kate

UPC of the FOAMING – Soothing White Tea, Dial Complete 0 1700007973 8 worked in Western PA. Printed all the UPs for me.

    • Tim

Great! Thank you for posting the UPCs!

  27. Zosia

2 RA by me out of foam white tea and halloween onces 🙁
No other foam will work ???

  28. Kate

I hate it when they offer a sale item and there isn’t any stock. Stopped at two Rite Aids and was able to finally get the last 2 White Tea on the shelf. The customer in front of me was asking for the hand soap too. This happened last week with the Cheer. 🙁 But it does get us in the stores. I will say Rite Aid is better than my local CVS. As I have at least four Rite Aid options in the area.

    • Vanessa

Kate, I can’t agree with you more. I checked 3 Rite Aids and none had either the halloween soaps. I finally found 4 at a rite aid about 15 miles from my house. I am by no means an avid shelf clearer, but I wanted my 4 soaps and if Rite Aid is going to run a sale, they should be well stocked. It makes it very difficult for shoppers to get what they are coming in their stores for.

  29. WynetteC

Yay! Thanks Collin for posting this deal. Just ran into my local Rite-Aid and grabbed 3 of the Dial hand soaps. (one Jack-o-Lantern and two Haunted House) I am so excited that there were some there this late in the week because at first glance on the regular isle I saw no White tea soaps and figured everything had been bought out. But just happened to check the Halloween isle and sure enough, there they were sitting all alone on the shelf waiting for me to grab them up and take them home. 🙂

  30. Danielle

Dang it!!! Just went and bought the white tea regular stuff!!!!( And didn’t get the rewards). I didn’t see any foaming kind though..and no Halloween kind anywhere 🙁

  31. kelly

Just found 3 black cat soaps at my 4th store. Other 3 stores didn’t have any of others. The 3 cat soaps gave me 3 $1 UPs and I used $1/3 coupon total was $5.32 but when I used a $5 UP final oop was zero. So for 3 cats total was $2. Will try to find 1 more of any other to see if a 4th triggers anything else. Im in central CT.
