I got 2 as soon as this posted and my confirmation email says my pickup date will be 12/14…. That’s plenty of time for it to cancel but hey, I tried! This is awesome if it works. We want a red persian-style rug for our loft, and I ordered a basic beige one for my mom as a moving gift!

very regional. My husband is a manager with lowes and he checked stock and none of the stores in our entire district have any of these.

I called lowes, they said they are a special order rug and not something that many stores actually carry. … not sure what this means in terms of orders placed, but thought id share!
Well, i bought one. Just charged me $10 🙂 Now there are only 3 showing up still for $10.

If you are on a mobile device make sure you check that you filled in billing address. That was happening to me.

If you type area rugs in search and then sort low to high the only three left for $10 will show up. Artistic weavers atlanta,libya, and rome.

I ordered when this was first posted and did get 2 that wen through. I just went back and refreshed the page and it look like it has been updated and there are still3 rugs available that do go to your cart when clicked on!
The manager verified at the stores and they said the order is correct price. I am in Georgia!

I ordered 2 (for store pickup) and received a confirmation number. Some of the rugs wouldn’t even add to cart. But I snagged the 2 that did. If you want to try them they were: Artistic Weavers Rome (5.3 x 7.6) and Artistic Weavers Libya (63in x 90in). Hopefully I won’t receive a cancellation.
I just ordered and paid for 3 rugs! Amazing. One is an 8′ x 10′ that will look great in the new game room.
People’s orders are already being cancelled by looking at Lowe’s FB page. PLEASE don’t be hateful n their wall, it was obviously too good to be true!
I did get 2 of the 5 x 8 rugs, pick up the 14th. I had to sort by cost on the left-hand size and if removed any out of stock rugs.
I got one, finally after changing stores it showed me the 3 they still had. I got a 5×7 instead of an 8×10, but anything will help my living room out.

Just talked to Lowes and they said it was a mistake in the price and they arent available. I really loved these
I successfully ordered 3 for in-store pickup. When I found 1 I could add to the cart, I had to go to the cart and select in-store pickup before I could add the 2nd one.
@didijojo what do you mean they are cancelling orders? I can’t check facebook at work. That doesn’t seem fair if they messed up the pricing? Just asking.

why would we obviously known that, half of us have been told by lowes management it is not a mistake, i thought it was a black friday deal left over. nothing was obvious, if it’s a mistake fine, but we didn’t all know that
She had a warning on the post, saying “I’m not sure if this is a price mistake or if orders will get cancelled” meaning order at your own risk, and when they are $500-$1000 normally, they aren’t gonna honor it.

I think pretty much everyone on this site KNOWS that $10 for 8×10 rugs–even the cheapest, most poorly made, hideously ugly rugs–is a steal. You just don’t see rug prices that low, and Collin very clearly posted a warning questioning the price, so it would be disingenous to claim that we couldn’t possibly know the deal was too good to be true because we don’t work at Lowes. Hell, the people who do work at Lowes don’t know what’s going on! That said, some people will get that price (hey, I had some managers breaking store price-matching policies for me), but I think odds are good–great, even–that orders will be cancelled.

Yeah, thanks for being condescending. I’m sure glad you guys could clear that up and tell everyone, who spoke with Lowes MANAGEMENT or who read posts from those who did, just how you KNOW things are.
If I don’t get my rugs then so be it and I DO agree that you can’t be to upset by it, but you can still be hopeful and disappointed, if there was NO chance then it wouldn’t have been posted, warning or not.
As far as $1000 for $10 being completely crazy and ‘obviously’ wrong, Iheart radio concert tickets/trips were being given away. Flights, room and bored (totaling well over 1000 per person) all for free, my radio station in particular gave away 2 tickets a day for at least two weeks. Of course this is for advertising and knowing they’re bringing people to their event/position on the radio dial…I wonder how many hits Lowes website received while these rugs were on sale.
I know my response is a little aggressive and I’m not trying to sink to your level and be as rude as your comments are, but I’m new to this site and am already sick of condescending ‘know-it-alls’ wrecking things for the rest of us who use this as an informative and enjoyable site to take part in.

There was only one that worked for me – says it will be ready in 20 mins. It was item 441119. I had to order on my iphone because wouldn’t work on computer. Now I just have to wait to get off work.

i called and the guy said the ones that are $10 were supposed to be removed because they aren’t available and instead got added to the website and now they have alottttt of people calling asking about them.
Just ordered a 5×7 beige rug…. only 3 rugs to choose form. I got a confirmation email and now the website states the rug is no longer available. Here’s to hoping! I’ve been looking for a new kitchen rug for ages!
I think someone is in big trouble on Lowes’s end. The rugs are one by one changing prices back to $600-$700! I ordered 4 at the $10 price. We’ll see if they go through

Someone said the same for them but it was still cancelled. The charges will just be reversed.
