Word of warning – I have twin boys and thought this was a great idea, until we used it. Every time we got that thing out my twins would kick the snot out of each other because they faced each other. We gave up and sold it, and have been using our side by side stroller ever since. They’re now five and we’re still using the stroller everywhere we go.
Yes, a 5 year old will fit! We’ve had this same wagon for going on 8 years now. My 5 year old son still fits in it. Also if the straps ever break you can call them and they’ll send you some out free. They did for us anyways. It has held up very well.
