mine came back with error code that says that coupon code expired on feb 13 at 12am
That’s what I finally got, also. Boo. I really needed this, as my Crockpot cracked, and broke recently. I don’t think it’s right that they honored “some” orders, and others, got the message that the offer expired at midnight. I would rather have gotten a message along the lines of, “Sorry, we are out of all our FREE promotional Crockpots”, kwim?
Customer service said no one is getting the order. Can’t get worked up over this stuff though.

Just spoke with the company, this is an invalid code and all orders will be deleted. Sorry ladies, I was also super excited to get a total freebie!

I was totally joking on my earlier comment. I just wanted to poke fun at everyone bummed out about not getting a totally free $60 crockpot.
The site is now saying that the coupon expired at 12:00PM on February 13th.

Just got off the phone with customer service by calling their toll free: 1(877) 809-1659
and they say the coupon code was in error and orders will be cancelled. They are working on fixing their system now.
All the calling sure doesn’t help.
I agree! It just alerts them to pull it quickly off the site when they may have honored the ones that got a confirmation. If the coupon expired yesterday then were they giving them away up until yesterday? What WAS the coupon deal?
I dont know what was the coupon deal but apparently their system accepted it in error.

Tried to proceed to checkout when placing my order and each attempt I received the response “service unavailable”.Contacted cafepress.com ‘s toll free number ,provided my cart or order number thru automated system and talked to a rep ,Will.He advised me that they don’t know where the Slowcook13 promo code came from and causes their system to crash and the few orders that are placed are kicked out of the system.
I advised that system didn’t allow me to get to the point where I would need to put in promo code and had to repeat this a few times before he got it.I had to ask him if this offer is now invalid and he responded with,”Yes,Mam,I’m sorry.”.
Emailed support@cafepress.com with my cart number,my exchange with Will,and my displeasure with this situation.
if you bothered to read like 100 replies BEFORE calling CS, you would have read that the code was invalid b/c it wasn’t meant for us to use. all those orders that did go through, will be cancelled. You can voice your displease all you want, but that won’t make a difference. Collin did put a WARNING notification and to proceed at your own risk.

I called customer service and They just told me that it was a mistake of some kind, their system has crashed and those people who thought they got one have all had their orders cancelled and will not receive one! What a crock (pun intended)! Obviously, the error was on their end or those who initially were told they got one wouldn’t have been able to do it. I say we protest!!

It is rare for a company even to give a sample of shampoo or anything anymore, so why would anyone assume that they would get a $60 crockpot for free (and then be mad about it when it didn’t work out)????? That would be a tens of thousands of dollar freebie after it hit the blogs–few companies could absorb that in our current economic environment. I have seen so many deals come and go on here, and I am grateful for those that have worked out and I certainly don’t take it personally if they don’t. There will be another deal tomorrow:) I’m just thankful for all the great deals that I have gotten!!
