I did this, I have a bad habit of letting my PC go without coverage. :/ If you have Shoprunner, it’s free 2 day shipping!

Thank you so much for this deal… I have been needing virus protection for ever but just did not want to pay so much for one…. this is just perfect.. I just placed my order and will do the rebate today as well.

I have this product and it works great on my laptop! But for some reason when I download it on my desktop it works for one day, and then after that when you click the icon it never opens and gives an error message. I’ve tried uninstalling and downloading it again. This could be a problem with my own computer. But besides that I love the product!

I was at Staples yesterday and overheard the tech staff explain to a customer that she needs to uninstall the previous version before installing Norton 360. He said if she still have questions to call Norton for help.

I really like Norton Antivirus and been using it for few years already. The one I just bought is the Internet Security.

I have been a Norton user for at least 10 years and sometimes installing the new version on top of an old one works, but mostly you have to google the norton remover tool, click the link and run that program. Once you do a fresh install, it has always worked for me. I bought the upgrade the last time there was a great deal, I think our final cost was $10, free is better, but even $10 is worth it. Especially since my Mom, sister-in-law and I all share the disk since you get 3 installs.

OH I just saw the comment below – we have Norton 360 – it is much better than the regular one – especially if you’re doing a lot of online shopping!

    • Lindsay

Thank you all for your responses. I shall try to re-install again. I forgot to mention I have Norton 360. They always have promo codes, so you can get it for pretty cheap. I think the one Collin posted is the regular one.

I got excited when I saw the Norton360 picture headlining this deal. Allas, the product is the basic antivirus software, not the comprehensive 360 product.

  5. Susan

Dang! I bought this on Amazon last week.

  6. michelle

Yes, I noticed this is for the regular product as well after visiting the Newegg site…perhaps we could have a picture update??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry about that… just updated with the correct pic! 🙂

      • michelle

Thanks – you are quick! 🙂

  7. Conswalla

Yes it’s the basic software protection and you can get that for free online.

Can someone tell me what the difference between this and the 360 is? I just ordered. If you use V.me during checkout and you’ll get a $4.50 discount so it is a $4.50 money maker. Go through Ebates for 1%. Code is VMEPROMOMAR13

      • linda

        What is v-me?

        • Nadia (:

Yeah, what is V.me? I want to order it, but I am waiting for a response. . . .
