these diapers are great.
I bought these diapers and wipes for 5$ each on Black Friday just because for the price, I couldn’t pass them up. The wipes were fine, we haven’t used the diapers yet though, they are still too big for our daughter, but we will be soon. I usually use Huggies or Pampers. For the money, can’t beat it! Even if you use these diapers during the day and your favorite kind at night, worth the money!

The diapers are absolutely horrible and leak right through – not even worth it if they were free to me. Wipes are okay.
The diapers are great! We usually use Pampers, but we stocked up on them during Black Friday and think they are great compared to huggies!

The diapers aren’t good at all. I had to do exactly what Kelly suggested, I used them during the day (even had some accidents then) & used Pampers diapers at night. I finished the opened box because I had already spent my money but I wouldn’t buy them again. I even ended up returning an unopened box & getting my money back 🙁 HTH!
LOL! That is so funny! My son always has a leak when he wears pampers, the only thing that works for us is huggies! I’m not even going to risk bru brand! My store in Orem didn’t have the 72 ct at all, so doesn’t really matter.
Haha…my first two leaked through huggies like crazy and pampers were what we used. my second 2 huggies fit and never leak…pampers are a nightmare! different butts, i guess…lol.
In my store, the boxes were higher than 72 count. I think the boxes I bought were 84 and 74.
These diapers are the worst!!! I use the coupons to get the jean diapers and wipes because those are my favorite and i did the deal whe they were giving away gift cards so i got 28 boxes essentially for free. also the coupons expire on sunday so that doesnt give you much time.

I bought these for the past few years at Black Friday sale…I think the wipes and diapers are very very compareable to the name brands!!! Actually these are what I used on my last 2 babies!!

i hated the babies r us brand diapers for my little guy. when i was pregnant we stocked up on 1,2, and 3 on black friday and they are the worst! don’t absorb, leak, horrible! so i ended up donating 6 boxes of diapers!
I called my store as well…. They said the $10 off is only if you buy the $27 box of diapers and a box of wipes. If I didn’t live 40 minutes away it would be worth it to actually go to the store and check for myself

Has anyone tried using the coupons from in the box to buy the diapers? I had a problem with the coupon not going thru with the black Friday pack and the coupons from in there.

I was planning to go out to my car and open the box and go back in for a 2nd set.
Did the coupons go thru without a problen last time the coupons wouldnt go thru.
Mine went through, no problems. The $10 didn’t come off instantly, so the cashier marked each product down (the dipaers by $4 and the wipes by $6) and then scanned the coupons without any problems. After the $6 diapers coupon, they were free and after the $2 off the wipes, I only had a 1.99 balance. I went just before closing and it wasn’t busy so they allowed me to open the boxes after I purchased them to get the coupons for my 2nd and 3rd transaction. They were awesome!
I asked this once at Staples when I was buying Bounty paper towels that had coupon booklets inside. They wouldn’t let me. It makes sense, as they aren’t officially yours until you pay for them. 🙁 It couldn’t hurt to ask though! Every cashier and every store is different.

Darn, I don’t know what to think. I called both my local BRU and TRU, and they both have the $10 off diapers/wipes combo. But they both said the items are regularly priced. I do see the $10 diapers online, I could just buy them there and pick up free in store. Hmm, decisions, decisions. I guess either way I can’t take advantage of the full deal.
Anyone know if there’s a limit to how many $10 off you can have in one transaction?
We are right next to a BRU right now and as much of a good deal that this is and I could even use the $20 Gift Card that we have from BRU, I just can not buy these diapers again. Our son never leaks through a diaper and he leaked through every single one of these diapers. I will never buy these again.
Just a heads up, I called my local store (Birmingham) & was told, yes, they will price match their online ad but if I opted for that route I couldn’t take advantage of the $10 discount wyb wipes/diapers. This was a manager & she was very kind & knowledgable, so I’m not even going to venture out. Too bad…
I have been told multiple times that they are happy to price match their online prices, however per their policy if you choose to price match their online price then it voids any in store only deals for that same item.
I got pretty excited, but my closest babiesrus is 35 miles away. Not worth the trip out since we cloth diaper. It’d be worth it just to get the wipes and give the diapers to a friend of mine who doesn’t cloth diaper!
the diapers do just fine. but the wipes?? they rip as you pull them out of the packaging. such a pain. even if the wipes were free, i would probably not use them 🙁
I bought these diapers when Colin posted the last sale. We use them during the day and Pampers at night. They are great if you are going to change the diaper every 3 hours or so max but won’t hold up at night. Which is fine by me b/c our daughter’s daycare changes diapers every 2 hours and will change it even if she’s dry. Good way to save money when you’re going through so many diapers!
Just went to waterford lakes in orlando and they had the value boxes for $10 but not $10 off when you buy the wipes. I opened the box in the store to use $6 off diapers coupon and they were fine with that. $4.65 with tax is a great deal without the wipes! Also, they only needed to scan the coupon once and it came off each box i purchased.
What sizes did u get? Thats the store im about to go glad the coupon worked with no problem!
My store has the $10 off when you buy a wipe and diaper but the diapers are full price. They said if I price match from the website for the $10 diapers that I can’t pair it with the wipe and diaper deal 🙁 bummer
Last Black Friday when I tried to use the coupon for another purchase of the same value box diapers with the coupons in them (rolling them). The coupon for the diapers wouldn’t work on the Value Box because it was a Value Box. So I doubt it will work unless its on the normal boxed diapers and there aren’t any restrictions on the coupons but it just won’t work on the valued box. Best of luck though!

I just went to the OKC store and they let me buy 1 box of diapers and wipes and get the $10 off but they wouldnt let me use the coupons in the box for a second transaction because you are not supposed to be able to combine offers.
Hi Heidi, here our manager said the same thing ( Hattiesburg MS) and I tried to explain it to her. I even showed her this deal on my phone, after half an hr explanation she said let me call toys r us. She called some one I don’t know who,then she said ok.So I bought 3boxes of diapers & 3 boxes of wipes and I paid only $5.97 plus taxes for all wooo hooo. Thanx Collin:)

just called my Appleton, wi babies r us and was told they will have them in stock but the sale doesn’t start until Friday… hopefully this works as I’ll be FIRST in line Friday and going in and out to get the coupons from the boxes 🙂 haha
The sign on the wall in my store said 3/14 to 4/4! But this could explain why it wasn’t ringing up for so many!
They are going to have the $10 off when you buy the diapers and wipes til 4/4 and the manager at my store said they are putting the $10 boxes of diapers out on 3/29 so you should be able to do both on Friday.
So mad at my bru, sawmill cbus, they wouldn’t do the wipes, and thy wouldn’t do the coupon- I argued for 20 min!!! They stink!!!
Cari, I called the Polaris store and they said they don’t have any of the diapers. Does Sawmill have them? Huh…now wondering if someone at that store was just too lazy to look =( have to go there tomorrow anyway so may have to check it out; diapers not for me but a friend who is finally getting a baby within a week via adoption!!!

Mine had a bunch of the $10 boxes! But when I bought size 4s 72 ct diapers along with the 432 ct wipes. They didn’t ring up 10 off. But there was a sign on the shelves that said “Buy any BRU diapers 72 ct and up AND a box of wipes 432 ct and up..get 10 off”. So he went to check and honored it. I wanna use the coupon in the box to get the deal a second time but not sure if they’ll give me a hard time 🙁

It did not state that on the sign in my store, they honored it without any problems and didn’t even blink when I gave them coupons. I didn’t even think they might not accept both. I don’t have kids, I was getting baby shower diapers/wipes so I am not familiar with their policies but the store was great about it and the manager told her “just push it through” and then told me, “we’ll get you all squared away, sorry for the hassle.”
I hope my second trans. goes smooth! Did anyone notice on the coupons in the BRU box there is one for a “FREE Bottle?”. Doesn’t look like there’s any purchase necessary. I think. The cashier had to manually take off $10 so I’m not even sure if the coupons would even scan if I gave them both the wipes and diapers one.
This same thing happened to me, but he wouldn’t honor it. He said those $10 boxes were not meant to be on the shelf. I was quite puzzled. If they’re not meant to be on the shelf, where on earth are they meant to be???? So I left the store empty handed.

Northern Ca – BRU had the $10 value boxes with coupons in it and signs up for the $10 instant savings (buy a box of diapers 72 ct or higher with a box of wipes). However, at the register it was not ringing up right – the promotional code was not working. She said because the sign was up they would honor the instant savings (was able to use the coupon too!) but the manager was going to take the sign down. YMMV on this deal

Refused to do it roseville California. “It’s already on sale” is the reason I got.
The register would not allow the coupon to go through. Manager said EITHER I can get the $10 off promo for wipes and diapers, OR use the diaper & wipes coupon in the box. No double dip. The coupon DOES state on the back that it cannot be combined with any other offer. So that is why you can’t double dip to be fair.
Huh? I guess I may be naive but when do we ever pay full price for things (of course we wait for a sale and use a coupon!)? I will say, I have noticed ALL TRU and BRU coupons now state on regular priced items and such. I personally cannot stand them for numerous reason, but will occasionally bite my tongue and go for deals like these. Guess when it sounds too good to be true it is!
I tried this last week and it wouldn’t work. Although the diapers fit the criteria on the sign, the register didn’t take off the $10 and the manager said it didn’t apply to the $10 value box. I didn’t want to press it, so I just used the $6 coupon and got the boxes for $4 each. Still a great deal, but I would have loved to get the diapers and wipes for $2. One of the coupons inside is for a free BRU bottle, value $5.99.
I work at the TRU in Gainesville, FL, I know we carry the diapers, even though it was a Black Friday promo we’ve been getting them shipped pretty consistently ever since. I think Melissa may be right, TRU & BRU often do not let you combine offers or promos, and the coupons are very strict.
I have tried to use these $6 coupons (from my BF boxes) and they will never apply to the $10 boxes. I have tried at multiple stores around me and have never had anyone push them through even though by the wording they should work. I think it’s a YMMV thing- don’t count on them accepting the diaper coupon.

I went to the Babies R Us in West Mifflin (Pittsburgh) PA and the sign was on the wall but it didn’t ring up. They pushed it through and let me open the first box after I purchased it to get the coupons for the 2nd order, and then again for the 3rd order. Baby shower gifts are now complete!! 🙂 They were SO very nice about it, all 3 people that helped me. I’m going to write Babies R Us corporate tomorrow and tell them I appreciated the customer service tonight.
I tried to use their coupons one other time when diapers were on sale in store and a clerk told me that I couldn’t use coupon on sale stuff. FYI
You can not use the coupons that come in the box on other boxes already on sale. I tried that during black friday. It won’t work.
I had no problem using the coupons, the cashier was able to scan them right away. My sister got some too and they only used one coupon for several boxes since it was a bru coupon.
I am in Northern Cali and they would not do it because they said the $10 diapers were a SPECIAL Value box not a regular value box (priced at $27). It actually says special on the box. The manager told me he was confused also but they had just received an email from Corporate that clarified that the $10 special value box was not included on the $10 promo . OH Well— it was worth a try! Thanks Colin for all your hard work.
The manager wouldn’t give us the sale price bc id the coupons in the box??? Should I call corporate? Can they decide that even with an ad stating the sale? I’m really annoyed.
