The UniBall pens said no in-store pickup. Does that mean I can’t buy them in the store and still receive 100% back in MaxPerks Rewards?
They are online only for the max perks bonus rewards. If you order online (and pay online) and pick up in store, it counts, but NOT if you make the payment in the store. Unfortunately, none of the pens were available for in store pick up for me either. Still a good deal on the other items, though š
Does that mean you can buy 4 Sharpie markers and still get 100% back for the 2 that you are putting out money for?
Yes Juanita, that’s exactly what it means, because I just called them to check on that.
Does the limit of 2 per item mean I can buy 2 of each of the items listed under select writing supplies and get 100% in rewards? Or does it mean I will get 100% reward for 2 of the items listed under select writing supplies?
I don’t think so. The last two rounds of Officemax 100% back rewards only reimbursed 2 writing supplies in total, not 2 per item. I have lots of stuff to return as a result. Everything listed today is considered a writing supply. It appears that OfficeMax has changed their rewards program to be much less generous. š Someone else last also posted on last weeks thread that they were only credited for 2 items and had to do returns, IIRC.
It says “Limit 2 per item” which means you’ll get back 100% Max Perks on each item (up to 2 each). I would call customer service or ask on their facebook page if you’re unsure.
I called and asked, they said if I bought 4 of the pens, 2 of each different type that I would only be reimbursed for 2 but could get 2 of all of the others.
I am not trying to argue here, but just trying to add my past experience. When I have done these deals before, I have bought several items (2 of each) when they say 2 per item and have earned rewards back on 2 of each item. When there is a “Limit 2” on the front end, then it is a limit 2 TOTAL. That has been my experience, at least.
I know you called customer service, but sometimes they just guess and you can get different answers from different customer service agents.
I know what you are saying used to be correct, but they just recently changed that as 3 weeks ago. Now the limit is 2 writing supplies in total, not 2 of each writing supply. I’d love to be proven wrong if someone tries it this time and experiences otherwise, but I personally have too much stuff to return from the last 2 times I tried it and got burned by the changes they just made to the OFFICEMAX policy.
Has anyone been told or experienced not receiving their bonus rewards if you pay part of your order with rewards? I was just told that my rewards didnāt show up in my account because I paid some of my new order with rewards.
Update: The rewards just posted to my account today, so I’m not sure what the customer service representative was talking about!
Can you still “roll” rewards? I’m so confused as to how this really works.. help??? I went to the website and it doesn’t really explain much.
