Zapiddy iPhone App: Make Money While You Shop
Just a reminder to check out Zapiddy if you have an iPhone and/or iPad…
As I have mentioned a few times this month, Zapiddy is a free iPhone app that pays users to answer questions. A typical Zapiddy Job has 5 or 6 easy questions and pays around $4. What a great way to earn a little extra money and to help reduce the cost of your shopping trip(s). Plus, Zapiddy donates additional funds to a charity that Zappers select during registration. To learn even more about Zapiddy, you can visit Zapiddy.com.
Zapiddy users make money answering easy surveys while they shop in-stores and sometimes even right at home. Some Zapiddy users have earned more than $200 in the past couple months using Zapiddy (you can read the reviews on the iTunes App Store as well as reviews here for even more feedback).
If you have an iPhone (model 3gs, 4, 4s, or 5) you can download Zapiddy for free at the iTunes App Store. After you download it, you register by answering a few questions–be sure to enter your correct email address. If you find an available job in your area, you may be asked to answer a few questions, check the price of a particular product, or take a photo of a product or a display in a store.
Typically, you’ll earn from $2 to $10, depending on the complexity of the job. Available jobs change on a daily basis, so you’ll want to check in often to see what opportunities are in your area. Once you complete a job, your submission will go through a brief approval process and then, when your work is approved, they’ll pay you via PayPal–usually within 5 business days.
Note: Zapiddy is activating accounts on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the number of jobs available in a given area. The sooner you create an account, the sooner you’ll have access to the jobs near you.
Do you currently use Zapiddy?! If so, share your experience with us in the comments below!
is this a paid advertisement post? or something you found on your own?
Who cares? It’ll make us a few extra bucks regardless!
Agreed. Whether or not Collin gets paid to post something, I trust her that she is making sure it is a worthwhile and legitimate opportunity. If she gets paid too, then even better!
I agree with you Michelle. I appreciate all the deals that Collin posts here for us.
I have saved a lot of money and earned some extra money thanks to this website.
That is my personal message and I was not paid to say that. 😉
i care, one is an advertisement and one is a real deal. This has been posted a number of times which leads me to believe it is a paid deal and it should be noted if so

Hi Jessi!
Zapiddy reached out to me earlier this month with info about their new app. I researched it and felt that many Hip2Save readers would benefit from learning more about the app. As a result, I made the decision to post. Zapiddy has been really impressed with all the Hip2Save readers who have interacted with the app and asked for more posts.
If you have had a chance to use Zapiddy, please let me know what you thought of it! 😀
I wish they had an android app so I can start…
ME TOO!! =[
I just started doing this and I have REALLY earn some $$$. I started last week and money is already in my paypal account.
How long does it take to approve a job? I have a job “pending approval” since last Sunday. Is that typical? Thanks
Five business days is typical. Sometimes faster. Sometimes a little slower.
Its only giving me the option to donate?
that part is optional
Register your paypal email to get paid. It works great! Totally legit.
Zapiddy users get paid> PLUS Zapiddy donates an additional amount to the charity you choose when you register.
I contacted them personally and they assured me BOTH myself and the charity of my choice get paid! Awesome!!!!
I’m still iffy on this one. There are typos in the job descriptions and one description said the job had to be performed within certain hours, but no hours were listed. I’ve completed four jobs and been paid for three so far. The approval process has been around five days.
I think it’s because it’s new….I emailed about that same issue and they sent me an apology email within 24h. I’ve done 4 jobs and been paid on 2! (Others were too recent to have been approved)
I did my first job last week (fast and easy) and got paid in 3 business days. I’m excited to do more, but I wish there were more jobs available in my area.
A little upset it’s only for iPhones. You’d think the people who would really benefit from this wouldn’t be people with iPhones
😕 Huh : /
I’ve been using Zapiddy for less than a week and have made $16. It’s really a lot of fun and takes only minutes.
So you’re saying everyone who uses an iPhone has a lot of money?
No, after purchasing the iphone you’ll need to take on extra jobs just to pay for it 😛
lol I agree!
Kind of an ignorant statement to make.
most smart phones are roughly the same price. so i could understand if your argument was that there should be an online option for people that don’t have smart phones. but droids are just as expensive to pay for as an iphone usually.
I signed up but the closest job is 17 miles away. If I selected a charity, does that mean I won’t get paid, it will all go to them?
Zapiddy users get paid when their submissions are approved. Zapiddy makes an additional donation to the charity selected when you register. Happy Zapping!
I signed up a couple of weeks ago when Collin posted about this app. I have done 2 jobs so far and been paid for one of them (the other has only been 4 business days so I anticipate getting paid for it by the end of the week). Both of the jobs were really easy – one didn’t even require me to upload photos!
I was planning to shop at both of the stores where I have completed jobs anyway, so it didn’t cost me anything other than a couple of minutes of my time. I don’t know if I would be enticed to make a separate trip just for a job on here, but if I was going to be driving right by one and had extra time I might stop for it.
Has anyone else had difficulty registering I have tried several times and get an error message every time.

They are generally quite helpful.
I signed up when I saw Colin post this the first time and I LOVE it. I live in Phoenix and have had jobs everyday…also, they are places that I go to anyway (Target, Fry’s, Costco). I’ve made $27 this week and haven’t gone out of my way once. It’s great! Also, I really like that a charity gets a donation too! Can’t beat it!
I signed up but there are no jobs in my area. Has this made it to the Midwest yet?
Indeed Zapiddy is available in all 50 United States.Today we had several jobs open up across the US. If you are anywhere near a SuperTarget store, there are several Zapiddy jobs happening on Saturday and Sunday.
i’m downloading it now to help pay for my iPhone =)
once it goes to your paypal account how do you access your money? will it go to your bank account or do you ask paypal to send you the money directly
Good questions. PayPal is pretty easy to use. Their web site will walk thru the process. My PayPal deposits into my checking account when I tell it to.
I have not used Zapiddy, but this reminds me a lot of three other apps I’m familiar with — Gigwalk, Field Agent, and Easy Shift. Excited to learn more about Zapiddy!
Anna, if you use iPhone, give Zapiddy a try. Quite a few “Zappable” Jobs happening this weekend. Happy Zapping!
Thanks for the review. Wish there were some phone apps jobs for global market too.
