Staples: New Teacher Rewards Program (Earn 10% Back in Rewards on Teaching and Art Supplies!)

Staples just introduced a new and improved Teacher Rewards Program! This Rewards program, exclusively for educators, provides teachers with 10% back in Staples Rewards (instead of the standard 5% for Staples Rewards members) on a wide range of classroom supplies including décor, educational games and puzzles, teaching aids, teaching and education books, dictionaries, locker accessories, colored pencils, crayons, drafting tools, easel pads, maps, globes, and teacher planners and more! Awesome!

Other Perks of the Teachers Rewards Program
* Invitations to Bonus events hosted throughout the year where you can earn extra rewards on certain products (these invitations are typically sent via email).
* Earn $2 back in rewards for every ink or toner cartridge you recycle when you’ve spent $30 on ink or toner over the previous 180 days (Teacher Rewards members can recycle up to 10 cartridges per month!). Premier Teacher members (those who spend at least $1,000 annually!) can recycle up to 20 cartridges per month.
* Premier Teacher members can also earn 100% back in rewards on Office on the Go services at Staples® Copy & Print (up to $10 annually), including online access (available in most stores), shredding, and scanning

Do you know if this applies to homeschoolers? I know Barnes & Noble included homeschoolers with their Teacher’s discount program, but I couldn’t find anything on the Staples website.

I called the second number and they switched me over to the right place, so that may be the first number. I called because I am already a rewards member, but I didn’t know how to add on that I’m a teacher. They said it is no problem to add that on there. Took about 5 minutes.
