Code I got was a single letter. Does not work. I did mine immediately after the deal posted. Anyone have a clue on how to fix this?

I tryed to get one by laptop at 11:30 cst said all gone then tryed at 12:45 by mobile and it went thru. Odd but yay!!
Does anyone know whether you can use the code in person at the box office? It charges me convenience fee and the tickets are much more expensive online.

No you can’t use your code in person, you have to use it on fandango and pay the convenience fee, which is $1.50 plus per ticket. So if your movie ticket is $10.50 and you got a code, you will still have to pay $5 for it.
If you have an AMC Stubbs card you can enter that number during checkout and that will take off the $1.25 charge!

I’m upset I got a letter “f” and not a code
I had the same email with no code and just received this email from Retailmenot that reads:
Dear valued customer,
We at retailmenot.com strive to reliably provide the Internet’s best deals to you every day. Today, we fell a little short.
This afternoon, we published a coupon code for $7 off Fandango, but due to a glitch in our system, you were allowed to claim a code despite the fact that all the codes had been claimed. The result was an email appearing to contain a code, but as you probably noticed, no code was there.
Even though all the codes are gone, we plan to make things right again. We are currently in the process of securing additional codes from Fandango, and we will send you a code as soon as we have them. Expect an email follow-up on Tuesday afternoon.
