I discovered this nasal aspirator from my doctor who uses it in his office for small babies. After watching how effective it was, I bought one! I am so glad I bought this, it has helped lessen the amount of possible nasal and bronchial infections my children would’ve gotten if I had not invested in this thing. They catch colds from school and each other and both of them are not very good at blowing their noses even though they try. All I do is spray a little saline into their noses and then vac. Don’t be deterred by seeing their snots in the tube, it’s a little gross at first but it’s actually very helpful to see the color of their snots. It helps you determine if they are getting a sinus infection. It works so very well and easy to clean!

This nasal aspirator is absolutely amazing. It WORKS. And it is completely non-invasive. My 4 week old newborn caught a cold, and this thing saved me. It cleared her out SO WELL! I had been using a bulb syringe, and she would scream and scream. Plus, the bulb syringe was irritating her nose and causing it to bleed. Once I got the Nosefrida, I was able to suction her nose much more effectively without shoving anything in her nostrils.
I heard about this from a baby group after my son was born. I wish I had it for when my daughter was a baby. You tell someone about it and they think it is gross, but OMG is it the greatest thing! I even pulled a Cheerio out of my 3 year old’s nose just last week with this. You can get so much snot out of their nose and they are able to sleep.

I LOVE our NoseFrida. We have had one since my 3.5 yr old was tiny. Works so much better than the old bulb syringes. Don’t let the sucking part freak you out. There is really no chance of getting it in your mouth.

I used the NoseFrida with our daughter until she was around 18mo. It was the best at getting all that snot out! But when she got older, she refused to let me do that to her anymore. But it was GREAT when she was a baby! Totally recommended even if I grossed my husband out.

I thought the same thing!!! I read the Amazon reviews and was like “What? You attach it to a real vacuum???” My daughter gets scared when I vacuum the carpet – I can’t imagine her reaction if I plugged a snot sucker into it and went for her nose!
i am so with you on the attaching to a vacuum part??! really. my daughter is highly sensitive to loud sounds and turning on the vacuum in order to clear mucous is just not going to work for us. got the nose frida after talking to some friends who HIGHLY recommended it. we all suffer from bad allergies so i am looking forward to trying this. local stores sell it for $25 so this sounds like a great price. thanks so much collin!
I bought the baby vac but didn’t really read exactly how to use it until my son got a cold. I was hesitant but found out he loves the sound of a vacuum cleaner. So much that it actually soothes him and he is very calm and just sits there and looks at us while we suck the boogers out!! He was only 5 weeks old when we first used it. It works amazing and I highly recommend it. It doesn’t use the full strength of the vacuum, my husband tried it out first and the suction is very gentle.
