I’m new to this. Can someone help me? I logged on to my CVS account to make sure I was signed up for email offers. I wasn’t, but am now. In the meantime, I received a $4 off $20 coupon. Is this $20 before discounts or do I have to actually spend $20 out of pocket? Thanks!
Your total has to be over $20.00 to use this coupon. The other coupons can be used once the cashier scans the $4.00 off $20.00 first. Just make sure you give this coupon to the cashier before handing the others for it to go through. makes sense?
I was told by corporate in a recent email that the dollar off coupons ($4 off $20) could not be applied until all coupons were applied first. I wanted to challenge them but I couldn’t find the information to back it up. Basically I added a dollar off coupon loaded to my card and the cashier didn’t ask if I wanted to apply (they always have in the past) so I lost out on $6. I forgot to mention it and I emailed corporate to see what they could do.
Here what they said:
Per our coupon accentance guidelines, CVS/pharmacy applies the “$6 off of $30” AFTER your other coupons have been applied. As a result, your final purchase amount was not sufficient to utilize the “$6 off of $30” coupon.
Thats not true at all. I had a $5 off $30 I sent to my card last week and the cashier scanned all my manuf cpns and ecbs, then the screen prompted if I wanted to apply the discount, which I did. my subtotal at that point was around $11. Another time, i had a $5/15 beauty purchase and the cashier scanned it after manuf cpns and it went through. I always make it a point to tell the cashier before they start scanning I have a discount loaded to my card that Id like to use. This avoids me forgetting to tell them and them missing the screen prompt.
At my CVS they do the total purchase before coupons or ECB’s for those types of coupons. Like $4 off a $20 purchase I have to ring up $20 worth of stuff before coupons and it takes it reguardless of my coupons.

FYI, the expo markers, in offer BOGO free, are printing $3.00 EBC when you buy $10.00, it wasn’t in the ad.
my store has them tagged as a monthly deal, spend $10, get $3. The limit is 10.
If you read the exclusions on the ECB, it says it excludes sale/promotional merchandise. Bummer!!!!!
My $3 email ECB does not say it excludes sale/promotional items.

I got the bucks! I didn’t get on huggies deal! But, friends did they went and now there 20 bucks its worth $10 bucks! Register taking off 10 bucks.

Same here. No $3 ECB’s today. No 20-25% e-mails for the past two weeks! Time to give CS a call, eh?
Well I have the solution for anyone that may not be receiving any cvs weekly coupons. I had the same problem and in a forum I found someone said to call cvs customer service and thank goodness I did, the person who I talked to explained to me that I was not put in their system and that for now on i will be receiving coupons every thursday, and what I think happens is that they put you in their system when you dont shop with them for a very long time, so they start emailing coupons to see if that way they will get you to shop with them. I never had any problems after that. Hope this helps 🙂

It’s weird–I’ve never gotten any coupons or free extra bucks from CVS in my email. I’ve registered, unregistered, reregistered, and checked my sign up preferences numerous times. But I never get any. Anyone have any ideas?

I was able to use the 20% off with the $3 ECB as they both stated they could not be used on sale/promotional items. The regular prices are SO high! I ended up getting a small loaf of bread paying $.23 oop. It’s something I needed and figured I might as well make the best of it. Crazy!
