“Just another testimonial that we too have this little grill and even with a family of 6 I use it ALL the time- quick lunches, hot dogs, grilled cheese and even burgers- I bet it get’s used twice a week or more. It’s about 2 years old and works great!”

“I bought this about a year ago. My boyfriend was skeptical that we would use it often enough. We (especially he!) use it almost every day. It’s a great size for our kitchen, and makes really quick grilled cheeses and quesadillas.”

“I have this. love this thing! I’ve had it for about 2 years and it still works perfectly!”

I notice that right now lots of Cuisinart items are on sale on Amazon! 🙂

I am torn. Want to buy it so much, but also read almost 200 negative reviews about the fact that it uses plastic tabs to hold the metal plates in place and they melt! And the fact that it doesn’t maintain a consistent temperature… Plus, it sounds like dealing with Cuisinart’s customer no-service is a nightmare, so I’m not sure if I’m going to bite the bullet and buy or not.

I would make sure to check how old those comments are…they could’ve fixed the flaw w/ the plastic tabs by now. I know what you mean though…reading reviews make decision making really tough! You never know which ones to believe. I’d just call Cuisinart & see for myself how their service is, & ask them if the design flaw has been fixed, & what their return policy or warranty is…that should definitely give you a much better idea of whether it’s a purchase you want to make.

Got my daughter one at Costco last year for Christmas. She has had no problems with it so far.

Weve had ours for 3 years and used it many times. We have not had any issues with this at all. Maybe there was some user error that contributed to the melting? Not sure, but I know we have had no issues, HTH!

mine doesn’t have that flaw.. and it’s about 3-4 years old

Wow! What a great deal. Right now I’m looking for a good deal on a KitchenAid stand mixer. Do you ever run across bargain prices on those? Thanks for all you do!

  5. Sunny

I recently bought one. The tabs aren’t plastic, they are the same nonstick as the grill plates. My family is loving it, and we are using it a few times a day.

it says $98 on the page now?? Am I missing something?

I have one of these griddlers and it is great! Can’t say anything bad about it… I use it every weekend for pancakes.

I don’t think it was on gold box deal, but it’s showing as $98 dollars now :/
