Having to dine-in kills the deal for me.

Just got back. Took my 10 year old for a mom/daughter treat after her Apple Camp since they are walking distance apart. (Had packed lunch and had cheesecake for dessert.)

    • Tia

      packed lunch? did you dine-in?

      • Susan

We had lunch on a bench in a shady park area of our outdoor mall and then walked over to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert.

        • Tia

Aww man! It says dine-in only on their FB page. I hope I can get there tomorrow.

I just went and had a piece of their red velvet cake cheesecake 2 days ago and paid almost $8 for one slice…It was the nastiest thing on the planet. It tasted like the cream cheese frosting you get in a can but worse as it was what seemed like three inches thick and this was the cheesecake part. It was gross and like eating cream cheese flavored sugar. I told my husband Jack in the Box has way better cheesecake than this. I’ll know to save my money next time…expensive and over priced is not always the
    better option.

I have never tried that one but of all the dozen or so I have tried, all have been the bomb. Don’t judge all their cheesecake slices from that one. I would highly suggest their 30th anniversary next time, so worth it!

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I had their red velvet cheesecake last week (had it before too) and I think it’s one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten. Their Hershey’s cheesecake is awesome too although very rich.
