I found a $5 ECB from my hubbys card that expired last week. I called to see if ECBs can be reset as I have heard several different answers about this. I was told that the ECBs that print on your receipt cannot be reset (however the store manager may key it in for you at his/her discretion) but the ECBs from the beauty club CAN be reset. I told him thats’ great news because that’s what I had. He said he had better news, my hubby let 2 $10s and 3 $5s expire and he reset them all! It never hurts to call and ask 🙂
One store here will take any expired coupons that come from the CVS redbox. I wish I would have known…I always throw my coupons away after they are expired and I even threw away an ECB that was expired 🙁
My favorite CVS informed me that they will accept them within a week of expiration. I forgot to ask about the coupons though.

I don’t think it will work because I was always told they consider EB a promotional item. Usually the wording on those type of coupons exclude clearance, sale, promo, 10/$10, etc.
A promotion is something like bogo free, buy 2 get 1 free, buy more & save, items in the ad that have a sale price. % off coupons will work on ecb deals only if no price is listed. I too did the listerine deal using my 30% email and it took off $5.99.

hun, the wording changed so you cannot stack the % offers now. I realize some cashiers will let you, but that’s not what a true couponer would do. Besides, you’re not going to get 50% off anyway. The 20% would be reduced by the 30%, so it would be better to do 2 transactions to get the most out of both % coupons.

I got the 30% off email coupon and the $3 off Revlon (in my Extracare account at cvs.com to print) so I’m hoping to combine these for cheap if not free nail polish. As long as the polish isn’t “on sale” and regularly priced, even with extra bucks, it should qualify with the 30% coupon, right?
$4.99 is the sale price (anything in the ad that has a price or promo offer like bogo, is a sale item) so the 30% won’t apply.

I just got back from CVS and found some great clearance cleaning items (needed to boost my total to use the $10 off $50 Q). I Found Bounce Lintbrushes (originally $5.79) for $1.44, Clorox HE Bleach Gel (orig. $2.88) for $1.44 and ALL Small&MIghty Detergent (orig. 7.29) for $1.82! Luckily (and much to my son’s dismay) I had my binder with me so I could match those up with some coupons for wonderful deals! I never seem to find good closeout prices but was quite happy with having found these!

Heads up for anyone needing to buy diapers and you still have the $5 off $25 baby care CVS coupon. Next week, 8/11, Huggies jumbo packs will be included in a get $10ECB wyb $30 of selected items. The jumbos will be $8.99 each. I plan on picking up jumbo packs at $3 each with the following approach:
3 packs of Huggies – 8.99 x 3 = 26.97
1 Caress body wash – 3 x 1 = 3.00
use the $5 off $25 baby care, use 3 $2 manuf coupons, get $10 ECB, the net total is $9, which is like getting the diapers for $3 each, with a free body wash! If you have the $3 manuf coupons, the deal would be even sweeter at $2 a jumbo pack!

So I had an email stating to take a survery worth $10EB… As I was going through the survey I typed in” I dont remember” then it kicked me out and said I didnt qualify. So heads up make sure u put an answer for each question and I only got a $2EB …

You can, but just keep in mind that using the $5 off will reduce the 30% discount. the register will figure out the discount like this (and it doesn’t matter the order, the register will automatically refigure)
$15 – 30% = $4.50 discount
$15 – $5 = $10. The 30% will be figured off $10 = $3 discount
sometimes the register does crazy configurations and prorates, so the discount might be more than $3. Also if you use CVS Store coupons (such as quarterly bucks, beauty bucks or rx pharmacy rewards bucks) those will also reduce your % off discount.
