Then you still need to go to amazon local, with an empty amazon cart, and add the 50% off accessories deal to your amazon account. I hope that helps.

Do you guys think these are going to go down in the next months? The other day Ebay had the refurbished ones for $99, and staples had it for 99 or 129 without the special offers… I am worried I will miss out on these deals and then they will not go down… but I was hoping to get it for under 100 without the special offers (worried about my kiddos clicking on the offers).
I think they will because it has been rumored for months that at the end of this year the KIndle Fire HD 2 will launch. It is suppose to have a better resolution, ( 1,920 by 1,200 pixel) weigh less and will feature a new chiseled design.

i figured it out… I actually have to pay sales tax. I believe that is the different in my cost.
Boy, am I confused. I did the order and am happy for the Kindle, but what did adding the 25.00 gift card do???? My order totaled the 144.00 but it shows I was charged 25.00 for the gift card.
If you wouldn’t have added the giftcard, your total would have been over $170. I dint usually order from Amazon, so thankfully my MIL is going to give me $25 for the giftcard!

For anyone wanting to get a little more discount by going the refurb route for 20% route, don’t. It won’t give you the $54 credit, and only will let you have the $15 credit.. messed up my cart and even emptying it won’t help as I can’t get the original deal now.

Didn’t get the option in the Amazon Local to add the Kindle and gift card and I can’t seem to get the $54.99 credit to show up in the cart.
I got it to work but had to pay tax, so 153.87 total. Still a great deal.

For those of you that are not getting the $15 accessories discount….This is what I did.
FIRST: Click on the link collin posted to the local deal, click on Idaho then Boise. scroll down and click on the 50% off kindle accessories button. It will then prompt you to sign in to Amazon then you have to “buy” the voucher (it is free though). I then closed the page.
THEN: come back to this page and click on the posted link for the kindle. Check the 3 boxes for the kindle, gift card, and case. —— The 2 discounts will not show up till you push checkout —- upon doing this BOTH discounts should automatically show up.
If you want a different color case: click on view items in cart, click on the case. Select your color, add to cart BUT don’t forget to delete the other case before check out.

You could use the gift card for apps, movies, and music for the kindle.

I think this deal was a mistake that amazon has now fixed. The special is stated as the kindle + the case + the gift card for $199. The $54 discount was based on the old price of the kindle. That discount isn’t coming off anymore . . . but the deal is still coming up as kindle state it — kindle + case + gift card for $199.
Due to heavy demand they are out of stock, that’s why you can’t get the discount.
I have tried in 2 different Amazon.com accounts (both with Prime) and it will only give me the $15 discount. It says “due to high demand we are out of stock of the special TV offer” when I go to the link with the 3 together for $199, so maybe that has something to do with it. I’ve tried it at least 10 different times in 5 different ways and it will only give me the $15 discount. Bummer!
