we avoided buying a nook b/c well….how long is barnes and noble going to be around? we opted for the kindle and love it!

Got my Nook with Glowlight from Radio Shack for $30 awhile back and absolutely love it. I also love that I can sideload epub books on it so it doesn’t matter how long B&N is around. I can still use my Nook! I love the option of a backlight in dimmer light and the battery life is amazing.
The reviews are not stellar – check them out online – seems to have a recurring problem which may not have been resolved and you can’t return after 14 days…
Bought this for my mom for $30.00 at Radio Shack. She absolutely loves it. Like Peaches said, you can download free books from other sites, not just Barnes and Noble. My mom said its the best gift ever, she is 73 bynthe way ☺
