I’m going to get a few of the Better Binders for my boys. My daughter has had hers for over a year now and this school year, 2 of them needed to be replaced. I brought them back to Staples and they replaced them-no questions asked. She’s only in middle school, so I figure this will save me quite a bit of money – as I generally have to replace these year after year. I’m wondering if I can bring two old binders in and use the 25% off as well. I also have the back to school 15% card-we’ll have to see what they let me use.

Staples replaced the better binders? do they have a lifetime warranty on that?

      • Stacy

I’m not sure if they still do or not. They did have a lifetime warranty last year when I bought some for my daughter. I took them in about 2 months ago to have them replaced, but the new ones in the store no longer had “lifetime warranty” printed anywhere on the paper inserts. The store employees didn’t even know how to process my transaction. They just returned them, because I had my original receipt, and made me repurchase them. They are awesome binders though, my daughter loves them.

I forgot to mention, the only reason we had to replace them, was the plastic “sleeves” on the front cover and inside were ripping at the seams. The binder itself was excellent yet, even the metal rings.

Oh wow! That’s nice to know! I’m gonna check this out and see if the offer is still good. Thanks for responding! I appreciate it!

They don’t seem to advertise the lifetime guarantee as much as they used to, but if you google staples better binder guarantee you will see it advertised. I didn’t have my receipt, so they just returned them as damaged. They are embossed with the staples logo, so it was obvious that was where they came from. Good luck!

The rebates can be done more than once, but the coupon that makes them FREE after rebate says “limit one coupon per customer. Each item purchased can only be discounted by one coupon. So my question is would they allow me to use more than one of the same coupon i the same transaction, or would I have to purchase each pk of paper separately? TIA

    • sissy lyne (@sissylyne)

There is no coupon limit from the coupons on the rewards area coupon wallet. Just print out multiples from that area rather than the limit 1 coupons.

    • Stacy

Molly, my coupons also said “limit one per customer” and the cashier would not take more than one. I had to go in and do another transaction.

Should these coupons have bar-codes? Mine didn’t print with one. Also confused on how the limit is 4 on some of these things for the rebate, but you can only use one coupon?

  5. Stephanie

The cashier let me do the rebates and the 5 dollars off 50. So I made some money:-)
