Could anyone who owns this tell me what the ink costs? I am trying to find a new printer that’s ink doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! The one I have now is almost $70 to get the black and color ink for and I’m buying once a month. TOO MUCH!!
Hi Tonia, I have a HP P2035 inkjet B&W printer and the toner costs 58.00 at wal mart. This printer is great. I got the printer in 2011 or 2010 and i still have the original toner. however, i am very careful about what i print and when. but still i think it says that one toner lasts about 2,500 print pages.
you can get refills on amazon for the printer for only 23.98 right now plus free shipping… always always check amazon for ink.. they are usually way way cheaper
Have a model like this that is several years old and LOVE it! One thing I like is that I CAN operate the printer if the machine states that it is empty, even though the mnfg. states to not operate it this way (They are in the business of selling ink, and you can get quite a few prints after it tells you to replace your cartridge by simply hitting the OK key on the console of your printer).
There are four small cartridges, which you can find from under $14 online to $16 in the store, and a larger cartridge which I usually just get when I purchase a 6pack (2 lg blk,, single blk,, blue, red ,and yellow.) The cost for the combo 6pk is $77.99, but I purchase ink ahead of time, and recycle cartridges, so my last total was $22.78.
I absolutely will not buy anything other than a Canon, and a model that I really like. Mine is like this without the fax, which I now wish it had. Have had Canons in the home for 17 years, and in the office for years before that, along with some others. Canon was always the favorite…and the best, in my opinion. Anything else I can answer, feel free to ask.

I have this! My hubby got it for me for christmas, I LOVE IT! The ink is pretty standart, i think 48$ at staples for black and color combo.
I have a Canon MG5420.
I bought it @ Best Buy a couple months ago but I still can’t figure out how to cloud print.
If cloud print is the same as air print you have to go to the WEB site and register your printer. I did it for my IPAD and it was difficult to figure out but after fumbling around and registering for an account I was able to do it. I have the cheaper wireless model of this printer
