As most of you know, 9/16/12, was the start of the new Walgreens Balance Rewards Program! Even sweeter, on 5/5/13, they started a new point system in which you can redeem your points once you reach just 1,000 points. Please head here to read all about it.

If you own a fitbit, it will automatically sync with Walk with Walgreens everyday after you join and setup. Fitbit Zip is around $60, but often you can find even cheaper on Ebay. Well worth the money, I love mine.

I got an e-mail from Walgreens with a coupon for 5000 points when you spend $20 or more. It’s good through tomorrow. Should make for some better deals 🙂
To get the points with that coupon , do you have to spend $20 out of pocket after using coupons, or do they use the total before coupons?
The fine print on the coupon says it has to be $20 after all Walgreens coupons and discounts, so you should be able to use manufacturer’s coupons to get below $20.
Its after all Walgreens have been applied but before manuf. coupons. So if you use any inad cpns or monthly coupons you have to account for those first and if you total goes below $20 after using those you need a filler (s) to get it back to $20 then give the bonus coupon then manuf coupons.

I may have missed something, but I’ve noticed that walgreens coupons will not deduct an amount off of a free item in a BOGO. example: I purchased the hearing aid batteries bogo this past week. The walgreens coupon did not automatically come off the free item. I also bought 4 Colgate toothpaste which were bogo. I used the $3/3 in the September book and it only gave me $2 off (because the other two were free). Is this new?
no that’s the way its always been, ive beeb an employee for years, but ive noticed this with Collins scenarios but ive never experienced the coupons ringing up the way she says in the store.
if an item is BOGO free the wags coupon will ONLY deduct from the one youre paying for, and if theres a $1 walgreens coupon on something and the item is BOGO 50%, then the walgreens coupon will only take off $1.50 NOT $2

I recently printed a copy of Walgreens coupon policy of the BOGO and they honored both coupons for the one I purchased and the free one. I was told they just don’t advertise doing this but when I showed it to the mgr he was fast to take care of it and was very nice about it.

Made a rookie mistake today of using my register rewards from crest/oral-b transaction to repeat the same 2 transactions. 🙁 I forgot u don’t get RR from transactions paid using the RR from previous transaction of same items. I lost $10. 🙁 Wags always confuses me. Lol!!! Am a newbie to this so it’s not hard to confuse me still.

I tried to buy the coffee mate creamer and they rang up 2.99 a piece, and we couldn’t find them in the ad. Boo!
I went to Walgreens and bought the shick razor refills for $8.99 and received the $3 register rewards but I also had a $6 off coupons for shick hydro refills and therefore it was a free item for me.
Went to buy the Kotex, but no register reward printed. Has anyone else had it to work. Anything else I can do to get it?
