Used a couple of these Q’s yesterday…they have little waffles too.

Did you find the waffles at Target or Walmart?

      • tia

        Target

I’m a home cooked kinda person nothing premade comes into my house for a variety of reasons. One of the things I do to save time is make a whole bunch of pancakes and waffles one day a month. Them I freeze them in baggies. When the kids want some for breakfast, snack or breakfast dinner I pull them out and microwave them to save time (clean up time especially). Soooooo cheap, delicious, and no weird ingedients. You can heat them up in a skillet too if you don’t like microwaves.

I make french toast, waffles, and pancakes ahead of time and freeze them. French toast and waffles are good if put in a toaster like a store bought one.

      • Em

I should have said that- thanks! Yes, waffles are much easier to do in the toaster. So yummy. Here’s my gluten free vegan waffle mix if anyone is interested:

        3 cups water
        2 cups flour mix***
2 tbsp coconut butter (I make my own)
2 tbsp almond butter (again, make my own)
        1 tsp salt
        1/2 tsp baking powder
melted coconut butter to grease the waffle maker

***combine 1 part brown rice flour, 1 part buckwheat flour and 2 parts gluten-free oat flour.

Sounds great Em. I’m not a big fan of packaged pancakes. Like the idea of freezing my own!

          Hi Em,
Thank you for sharing your recipe. Would you mind letting me know how you make your own coconut and amond butter? me2uss@yahoo.com. Thank you, SJ

    • Ruth

Tasted pretty good to me. But I heated it in my toaster oven instead of the microwave.
