What is the cheepest way to print coupons ? I mean does anyone use a certain printer or cartdridge or do you refill cartridges ?

    • Theresa

I have an HP ePrint that uses $15 black cartridges. I replace them 1-2 times a month and only print in black.

I have a Brother HL2240 laser printer. Best.Investement.EVER! I got it a few years ago at Office Depot during Black Friday for $30. It comes with a starter cartridge, which lasted me almost 6 months. Bought a new toner (using Best Buy Rewards, so I only paid around $20, retails $44) and its going on a year & 1/2. I have it set to toner save mode. Never had problems with redeeming them in b/w.

I have the brother HL2280. Cant remember how long it has been since I bought ink.

Brother Monochrome Laser HL2240 $79.99 ($49ish) on sale, replacement toner cartridges <$15 from Amazon print 2600 pages.

I've got a 2140 that I've had for 3+ years, and I've had absolutely no problems:)

I have a cannon pixma ip 1500. The printer is so old that off brand ink is $1 a cartridge on ebay. Doesn’t print color anymore though.

      • Bud

Epson Artisan 725, I refill my own cartridges costs me about $30 every 8 months for 4 OZ ink bottles (printer uses 6 colors)

        • pam

I have 2 HP printers (one wireless, one older) and I also refill mine! Just started doing it, and am loving the saving. You can search for YouTube videos that demonstrate how to do it for your particular brand.

A laser printer is by far the cheapest way to print. I bought two nice HP LaserJets on Craigslist for $15 each and two toner cartridges for $17 for both.

    • Lindsay

Don’t EVER buy brand new cartridges. They are the BIGGEST waste of $. I live about 10 minutes from a place that refills ink cartridges. I have a Brother printer and I love it. My cartridges cost about $10 and I refill them about 4x per year.

      • mel

If you pay $10 x 4 = $40 a year. That’s about the same price as buying a brand new cartridge, which IMHO, seems to last a heck of a lot longer than getting one refilled. Seems the ink does not last as long. If you’re refilling 4 times a year, and I’m buying a new cartridge at $40 that last close to 2 years, you’re spending twice as much as me. just food for thought 😉

    • Liz

I refill my cartridges. I buy the Inktec kits for my HP printer on Ebay. It’s less than half the price of new cartridges. I also print using the “fast, economy” setting on my printer. It uses a great deal less ink and the scanners at stores seem to read those coupons just as well.

Question : say I want to buy 2 of these sauce packets…. Does cartwheel app take 15% off both or just 1?

    • casey

Yes, it will take it off both.

    • jiya

      I think both of them.

      • mel

yes, it’ll take the % off for up to 4 like items per transaction. you can use your cartwheel shopping upc up to 6 transactions a day.

  3. Adria

    Ok thanks !

  4. CW

Collin, the Fage Yogurt coupons reset for me! I printed my 2 max last night. I just printed two more 🙂 Whooo Hoooo !

The FP Giraffe and Love to Play Sis coupons say “Limit one coupon or offer per guest.” Assuming that means that you cannot stack manufacturers with those 2 Target coupons?

    • Ashley

I believe that means only 1 target coupon per guest

  6. T

I’ve been waiting for a good deal on the Monsters University playset and this $10 off coupon would be great except this item is not sold in our local stores and its listed online as not sold in stores…What good is this coupon then if you can’t buy the item in store? Arent these coupons only good for in store purchase?

    • Janet

If its a target coupon there should be a code and you can use it online. Hth

  7. bridget

If you have a Costco nearby, you can refill your old cartridges for $7 or $9. I’ve been doing it for 2-3 years! And love.it!

  8. Sam

I bet you could order it online, and then take it to the store with your coupon and they would do a price adjustment, just verify in store first

    • T

I may try that…I was wondering if I could place the order online in the store..maybe Ill try that also 🙂
