Redbox: FREE 1-Day DVD Rental (Text Offer)

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Redbox is offering up a FREE 1-night DVD Rental whenever you text LOVE to 727272 on your cell phone. The code will be valid through 10/9 for the first night’s DVD rental – valid online or at any Redbox Kiosk. Keep in mind that standard text messaging rates apply and if you already subscribe to texts from Redbox, you may not receive a FREE game rental code. That’s it!

Also, as I’ve mentioned before whenever you create a new Redbox.com account and reserve your first movie online, you’ll also score an account credit valid for a FREE one-night DVD rental after returning your rental!

I have not got the “monthly free code” for the past couple of months either…I wonder if they are doing away with the monthly free text message — I sure hope not.

I got an email from Redbox the other day that said I needed to reply to them in order to keep getting text offers. I have not received any texts for the past month (at least) and even after I replied back I still did not get any texts. Lets see what happens now?

yes, I too had two text messages (oct 5 and Oct 8) from them saying to reply LOVE in order to keep their texts after 10/16 and for 1 free DVD rental code. If it’s only good for 1 night, I’ll wait until tomorrow then since we are busy tonight.

I got the free code. It took about an hour to get! It says it expires 10-9 at midnight, so you do not have to use it tonight.

Anyone else think its weird that the text says consent not required for any purchase?
