This is the Keurig we have at work. You have to place the exact amount of water that you want in your coffee cup, regardless of the fact that it has three measure lines for the amount of water (12oz,14oz,16oz). I used the first line and it poured out way to much water. So now we just fill up our coffee cup with water and pour it in. 😉

Do you know when the OCTOBER50 expires? Also does anyone have a discount code that works until the 15th of the month or later? I want to wait to do a certain deal for when I can use the kohls cash I already have but everything I have expires on the 14th. THanks!!

I believe that OCTOBER50 expires on October 14th as well.

Can the reusable k-cups be used in this machine?

    • Susan K

Yes, I have this coffee maker and I use the reusable k-cups all the time,

      • Heather

        Thank you!!

  4. Dinah

Yes it said the K-cups… and I just ordered the red one perfect for my daughter rushing off to college classes each morning. you can only get free shipping if your actual order is 50 dollars.

I have been wanting to try the k cups but im afraid of the taste. sounds silly I know but starbucks is so strong my heart does a double beat. LOL I was wondering if anyone can relate and give me advice. this seems like a great starter for me to try them. since it would be in my home instead of an office I am wondering if anyone can give me advice on one to buy that is better for a couple.

    • Susan K

I completely agree with you on Starbucks coffee being too strong. I have this machine and you can choose from a large assortment of coffee flavors and choose the ounces of water you want to use which will make your coffee weaker or stronger. I love mine.

Use the 10 oz setting of coffee and get something which says it is a “light or mild roast” maybe like the walmart breakfast blend or hazelnut flavor. My biggest challenge is finding a mug which holds 10 oz. which fits under the nozzle without having to take the base off…. 🙂

Kandy, I have a larger Keurig but bought this one for my daughter-in-law last year. I think it is works fine for a regular cup size of coffee. I am not sure if you like your coffee weak or strong, but it really doesn’t matter. You buy the type of coffee that suits you.

Atlanta: Hi fellow K machine owners…anyone know where the best place to pick up the liquid cleaner?

We’ve had our machine two years now, got the message to De-Scale it (GLAD it didn’t give out on me like I thought!).

    • Cindi

        Thanks!

    • Jenny

You can go through Upromise and earn 5% cash back for Kohl’s. If you have a Discover Card that does the quarterly bonuses, online purchases for October-December if you have signed-up are for all online purchases would be two additional ways to earn additional cash and I think if you purchase in-store with your Discover card, it is 5% cash back for Department Stores.

  10. Colleen

I went through Upromise to get the 5% cash back, and ended up with the red one for my hubby for Christmas for $67 (after tax) before Kohl’s cash. Thank you, Collin!!

Does anyone know how long this sale will last?

  12. redhairedchick84

Nice surprise for my husband. 🙂 We’re a little late jumping on the Keurig bandwagon. I don’t drink coffee, but he does, and he will LOVE this.

I was able to get a price match this morning at Bed Bath & Beyond! $63.99 plus tax (shipped to my door).
At first they didn’t want to price match (to $79.99) AND use the 20% off coupon, but when I said that I would just go to Kohls they were happy to help =)
