Kohls is great about refunds! I’ve also had them match online prices in store, so you should be able to exchange it and have them match the deal.
If they won’t match it, have them gift card in that amount. They usually have a kiosk in the store where you can order online. (And shipping is alway free this way.)
make sure you bring in your Kohl’s cash with the return or else they will deduct that from the amount they refund you. I ran into this situation when I bought wedding gifts off a Kohl’s gift registry and then had to return an item b/c the bride and groom received 2. The item was around $150, but because I had received Kohl’s cash the return value was around $30.

I’d wait. These exact brewers are only $119 on Keurig.com, not $149. Kohl’s is notorious for inflating prices. Last year, I got a Keurig B60 for $60-something after Target coupon, Target gift card, and mail-in rebate. (It is currently selling for $132 on Amazon, $299 MSRP.) There will be better deals on better machines closer to the holidays. In fact, I already got another $30 Keurig coupon from the Target Cat printer.

I don’t think the Target Cats are always linked to a particular transaction or item because both my Keurig Cats printed when I bought nothing coffee related. I think they are based on your purchase history tracked through your RedCard because I do buy lots and lots of coffee at Target. I didn’t do the Starbucks deal, but when I shopped that week, I got a $2/1 bag of Starbucks coffee Q. I buy kids clothing there, and I get lots of clothing Qs. I also get coupons for things that I don’t really buy but that are related to things I do buy: shoes, accessories, the Keurig (I purchase only ground coffee and used to use a French press), etc. I remember one week I bought a bag of frozen veggies there for the first time; the next week I got a coupon for a free bag. Sorry I can’t be of more help, but I think the Cats are highly individualized based on purchase history.

If given a choice to buy from keirig directly with 50% off code, and buying from kohls, I would go with kohls as kohls does not give you any hassle with returns and even better they will just exchange the unit if its defective or stops functioning even without receipt (for card holders). Just my opinion.
If someone is planning to buy in store, there is a coupon for $5 off in 10/6 Ss insert if I remember correctly.

You can call kohls and have them price match with keurig.com or amazon and also use the codes. You’ll get an even better deal!

It’s always regular price $119.99 for the K45 Keurig brewer on Keurig.com and if you have a 50% code you get it for $59.99 plus it ships for free. It’s a better deal to get a 50% code and get it from Keurig.com because everyone doesn’t have a Kohl’s charge card and those 50% off codes are valid through 10/31/13 which gives people time to decide if they want to buy one and doesn’t have to be a rush impulse purchase.

Collin usually says .50 is a good price point but I’ve had no problem keeping a stocked shelf with k-cup deals around .34-.40 per k-cup. Gevalia will offer promos of B1G1 regularly and I’ve also had good deals on Amazon, Target, etc.
